One of our all time favorite places. We were so craving it today, it was so cold and rainy out and this was the perfect place. We usually go on weekdays and were delighted to know that they do their lunch buffet on weekends too. They also are open for dinner and I think they have a full bar-I know they at least have wine. We usually go for lunch versus dinner so I haven't had drinks there before. It's one of our favorite lunch places, we love all of the choices on the buffet. The atmosphere is pretty casual. Started out with a cup of their hot chai and they refill it as much as you want! I love their tomato soup. They have a salad bar but I usually skip that and go right into the soup and hot items. I did get the marinated onions though, those are always good! Every day they feature regular items such as white rice, another rice that has chicken in it (I didn't catch the name of it but it was so good-I always get the seasoned rice dish versus the white rice, but I'm sure the white rice is good too), creamed spinach, veggies with potatoes, naan (Indian bread-yummy) and tandoori chicken. Also had a dish with chick peas today and veggies. Love the meatballs in sauce. Was excited they had chicken tikki masala-I think they have it throughout the week but some days when we hit the buffet they have a different feature-which is always great but tikki masala is my favorite! For dessert I had a little of both the rice pudding and mango custard. I can't say enough good things about this place! Oh and the owner and servers are really nice! We went to India 6 years ago for 2 weeks and we think that India Palace has better food than any place we tried in India-and we went to some fancy places and many regular places too. We have noticed that India Palace is frequented by people from India, so that is always a good sign that it is authentic and so good! read more

Ordered a pick up order while staying the night in Tulsa. My order was accidentally taken by another customer. The manager was incredibly apologetic and offered me a table and tea while I waited. I watched him manage his staff and work the tables, he was extremely dedicated to seeing his customers happy. Oh and did I mention the food was amazing! read more

It's awesome! When you like Indian food in Tulsa there are a few options. This is the one that has been around for decades, is always consistent and they provide incredible service. I went for the lunch buffet and it was ok. I try to eat a vegetarian diet during the week, and someone had recommended this place as a vegetarian-friendly, but there were only a few options to choose from. For $18, it's not worth it for a vegetarian to eat from the buffet, but if you're a meat eater, it's a great deal! They've got all the classics to choose from and the staff does a nice job of keeping all the options hot and fully stocked. read more

TRY THIS PLACE!! I'm from California where there's Indian food everywhere, so coming to Oklahoma where there's none was painful. Finally found this place and went to the buffet. SO GOOD!! The saag paneer was delicious. I wish everything had a little more spice to it but the flavor was definitely there. Only thing that bummed me out was that there was nothing with vindaloo sauce in the buffet but you can't have everything! I'll definitely be back for the dinner. read more

This is my favorite Indian restaurant! The taste is delicious. We came to get our food to go, but staff was really nice and friendly and always very helpful about whatever you need. Very beautiful and a clean place. The owner is always making sure you are being taken care, he is very nice. We always enjoy when we come here. I could eat their chicken vindaloo every single day! It's my new addiction order it with some garlic naan and the cucumber salad and you have the perfect lunch or dinner. If you order delivery, they package every single item tightly so it doesn't spill. For those of you that love spice, the medium makes my sinuses open up in one bite (I'm a lover of hot sauce on everything); I haven't built up the nerve to try their spiciest version. After a long day of fun, my friends and I chose to eat at India Palace. I've tried Indian food many times and had high expectations after reading the reviews on the restaurant. Once we entered, the atmosphere was very dim but calm. The walls were decorated with enchanting artworks, and to my surprise, there was even a bar area. Moreover, the staff kindly sat us down and welcomed us amiably. I was surprised that the menu had lots of good options, but finally, I had settled on what caught my eye the most: the spicy shrimp vindaloo. Most restaurants label their food as spicy but instead serve a mild, bland dish. But, after tasting the India Palace's shrimp smothered in rich, fiery, and aromatic vindaloo sauce, I definitely felt my mouth burn and yearn for more. The vindaloo curry paired perfectly with the shrimp and was quite addictive. However, I was disappointed that there was a few shrimp in the dish. For a $14 dish, I was given about 5-6 small shrimps. All in all, even if the dishes are more on the pricy side, I absolutely recommend India Palace to everyone who is seeking authentic Indian food. read more

Ive eaten here 3 times,(not by my choice), and 2 out of 3 times i have gotten food poisoning and very sick. This would be for dinner. I dont know if they were using left overs or just old meat, either way I was losing it that night. Even when I didnt the food was not what I would call authentic or very good. Stopped in for the weekend lunch buffet. A small and underwhelming assortment of heavily creamed and lightly spiced curries and kormas are arranged over steamers. If you are accustomed to authentic Indian food, you will be disappointed by Indian Palace. Meats were of low quality and food dyes are used to simulate the color of authentically prepared Indian dishes. I enjoyed the cold salads and tomato soup, but I could make that in my kitchen. Perhaps this is what Tulsa will tolerate from an 'ethnic' restaurant. Maybe the dinner menu is better. read more

Fans of Indian food must come here during lunch hours to try their buffet for a very affordable price. They have an excellent salad and dessert bar and numerous vegetarian and meat entree options available along with yummy soups and naan breads. I would say the saag paneer is my favorite item to get as they do a fantastic job making it fresh and savory, making it the best compliment to pour over their basmati rice. Their mild and spicy vegetarian, chicken, beef, and lamb dishes are all made fresh and delicious tasting. Definitely worth coming again! read more

I've been in here several times, and the owner is always very nice. He always talks to me and the person I'm with and has brought us things to try in the past. We eat there once a year and some people eat there once a week or more. It's way over priced but it's the only place like it. We won't be back because my grandson couldn't take home the food on his plate. He had 3 Tbs of rice and one meat ball but they wanted to charge us $25 for a to go box. It's just wasteful. The people will just set there and eat for hours , plate after plate so it makes me sick to watch people eat so much. They serve their customers. The water and ice is not filtered and gross. The servers are very attentive. Ordering from the menu has proven to be best most of the time but not going back. They are hugely busy so we won't be missed. Incredible. So INCREDIBLE! My friend took me here and she introduced me to some AWESOME things. The atmosphere is very romantic and quiet, and quite beautiful. First to drink we had some mango lassi. I had no idea what this was, but it was very unique!!! It was like a really thick and rich mango smoothie, but pure mango. We split an order of it and it was a perfect amount. I would have thought it was like a dessert, but I liked having it before my meal. I ordered the chicken tikka masala... which I know isn't very original because almost all Americans order that... but it was SO GOOD. The flavors were so strong and the chicken was so so tender and juicy. I also ordered the garlic naan with it which was a very good choice!!! so tasty My friend ordered the chicken biryani which was a rice dish that was really moist... but not my favorite.That's just my opinion though, she loved it! To end we had the gulab jamun... it was so weird! The texture was like a sponge... but who am I to talk I know nothing about Indian food! The juice/syrup was so unique and sweet... I loved it! At the end our waiter Heaz came to talk to us about how we were doing and where we were from. He told us his favorite dish was the Tandoori Chicken because it's impossible to create without their big oven! There's no shortage of buffet in Tulsa. Large folks rejoice. You can go for seconds, thirds, and fourths pretty much anywhere in this town. This place combies Indian cuisine and Tulsa style eatin'. That's right- INDIAN BUFFET. You can't really use the "if there are mostly white people there, it's not authentic" rule, 'cause pretty much every female in this town uses nude-color foundation. They don't even get close to hazelnut. For buffet, it's not bad, and everyone in the restaurant is incredibly polite. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach thing steal the show, and they have Naan with enough butter on it to astroglide a hetero. The tandoori chicken's not bad either, and for 10 buckaroos, it's a steal for lunch. Recommended plus 2 add: protect/shell/haste. read more

I'd give this place a higher rating if they had more options. For lunch it's a small buffet, I like a few of their items but I wish they had just a little bit more. The dessert options are minimal as well. They have the typical orange custard pudding you see in every Indian buffet. I think they should add Gulabs as a dessert option. I like that this place is really near my house, my family likes to eat here. For those who don't like to eat super spicy Indian food, this would be a go-to place. This restaurant is like the other half of Kolam Restaurant. The chefs are mostly North Indian and they do quite good in making certain North Indian dishes that Kolam gloriously suck at. I vouch for their Punjabi Veggi Dishes cause they know how to do it the best in the city; especially the veggi dishes like the Saag Paneer, Koftas, Veg Masala etc. But when it comes to meat dish Kolam does better. When i eat at Indian palace i feel like the chicken they use to make the tandoori chicken on thier buffet looks like it was malnourished or had polio. The buffet scores high in my books compared to the competition, especially the Mango and the Kheer (rice) puddings. Salam to the chefs for those delights. The Vegetable dishes and Pilaf are an awesome combo to mix around and have. Another good quality is that the restaurant environment is hospitable with an Indian flavor in the designs. Something other Indian restaurants in this city thinks is not a necessity. Kuddos to the partial Bar and the Indian beer collection. Meh. Seemed like my order was not made to standard or maybe it was hurried since it was ordered 30 min before close. Chicken Tikka Masala was OK, but lacked anything remotely resembling spice. I ordered it medium heat. I've had had mild with more spicy. The chicken tasted a little odd too...like it wasn't cooked in the sauce long enough to allow the sauce to flavor the meat. Also, charging $3.50 for 1 very thin single piece of garlic naan is a bit excessive. Usually I get 2 pieces for that price, but to be fair, I must say that it was the best garlic Naan I've ever had. My usual drink, a mango Lassi, wasn't on the delivery menu (there weren't ANY drinks actually), but I messaged Eat 24 to add it and they included one...which was so amazing that it was totally worth the hassle of having to send an extra message to get it. read more

It is literally impossible to finish your water or chai tea latte without a server coming to fill it back up. I have never experienced such attentive serving staff. I go to India Palace every year for my birthday. My friends and I generally cannot choose just one enter, so we get regular and garlic naan for the table and choose a few of our favorites to share family style. You can't go wrong with chicken ticca masala. I also love the lamb korma and the chicken saagwala. The samosas are to die for, and it's just not the same without the bottomless chai tea latte. If you follow my reviews, you know i love Indian food and try it almost every where i go. This restaurant was right around the corner from the hotel, so we went for dinner. Strip mall location, typical décor and look - ambiance is almost never a hallmark of an Indian Restaurant in the US. Service was excellent - almost too good as we wanted to talk and catch up on the day at work. Several beers were out of stock, but they found one Indian beer I've never heard of and it was pretty good. Samosa and pakora to start - samosas were ok, the pakora was excellent I had chicken saagwalla - while it was fantastic, i found it to be a bit too mild, i was hoping for some heat to go with the great flavors but it was missing (hence 4 stars instead of 5). My colleague had shrimp vindaloo which he thought was way too hot but i tried it and would have labeled it a medium at best, but with excellent flavor. Got the bill and thought they forgot something, excellent value and excellent food, GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY if you are in the area, it's worth it read more

My favorite meal is Lamb Vindaloo, basmati, garlic naan, and galub jamun for desert. The service is outstanding, The prices are very reasonable, and parking is usually not a problem. read more
