I ordered the butter chicken and requested hot sauce on the side. While I was eating, I found a big metal piece in my hot sauce . This is a serious safety issue and could have caused an injury if I had swallowed it. The food itself was okay, but finding metal completely ruined the experience. I hope the restaurant takes food safety more seriously and improves its quality control so this doesn't happen to anyone else

India Palace is one place where you always can get good, consistent Indian Food. I really liked seeing how this Roseville location operated like a well oiled machine. The servers, hosts, and kitchen were up to speed, efficient, and you can tell everyone knows their role and they do it well! We were there on a weekday evening and they were busy with both dine in and a consistent flow of pick up/ Door Dash orders. It was nice to see a place busy and customers happy and satisfied. We had the dal makhani with garlic naan. We started with the spring roll appetizer with a sweet chili type sauce. The spring rolls are not comparable to the ones we order at Asian restaurants, these were more petite, less filling, yet still bursting with its own kind of flavor. I believe it had a cabbage and corn filling. I would order these again, it's a unique appetizer if you are looking for something different than samosas or pakoras. The garlic naan was fresh, hot and delicious. Not overtly garlicky, but just a hint to give it a twist in taste. Dal makhani was hot and fresh as well. Plenty of parking at this location situated right off of 35W.

Decided to try this place as it looked fairly crowded on a Thursday night. Not bad, but it was very heavy in curry which gets to a point that I couldn't eat much more. (I had ordered it "medium" spicy). Portion size was really big enough for 2 people. Not sure I'd return here, but it seemed like a popular place for all the locals in town of all ages and cultures.

Chicken tikki masala, tandoori chicken, and a couple of other dishes from the buffet.

This was what I would call a basic Indian food buffet for lunch. There were around half a dozen dishes. None were terribly hot and spicy. The flavors were good. The atmosphere was fine. I would say the service was a little slow, but not so slow that I would skip going here again. This had all the basics. I was hoping for more variety, but in the end I was satisfied with the meal.

THE BEST Indian food I have ever had. My Ashahi was incredible! The chicken Biryani and chicken curry were excellent! Lamb was perfection in the Samosas. The servers were very attentive and quick when fulfilling requests. I definitely recommend this place if you like phenomenal Indian Food!

Appetizers: - Chili Pakora ($5.95). Five LARGE Pakoras (about the size of a small potato). The batter was soft (not crunchy) over a mild Chili Pepper. I expected a little more "heat", but the Pakora is tastes good and is enough to share. Entree: - India Special ($21.95). One word: HUGE! I wasn't expecting a full skillet of chicken, lamb, shrimp, onions, and tomatoes--Plus, the chicken curry bowl--Plus, a large Naan bread (your choice)--Plus, a bowl of Jasmine Rice! Definitely a shareable meal! My only complaint: I asked for very spicy, and it tasted normal spice. Maybe they figured a white boy like me can't handle the heat. Anyway, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Drink: - Taj Mahal Beer ($8.00). It's a 24-oz bottle, so you get two "regular-sized beers" in one. Service; Fast, friendly, and they all smile--like they are happy you are here. Pretty rare for Servers these days. Ambiance: White Tablecloths, red cloth napkins, nice ambient cultural music. Tasteful art and decor. A tranquil dining environment. I felt very relaxed dining here. Other: They do a brisk business! Many takeouts and at 6:00 pm on a Wednesday, the dining room only had a few open tables. Overall: If you're staying at the DoubleTree (Roseville) next door--it's a no-brainer. Just go! Otherwise, you should still go. Great prices, great food, great service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This restaurant has been consistently great throughout my time in MN. I have been coming here for the most flavorful delicious Indian food since 2016-2017 timeframe. I have driven around tried many other places but most have felt short. Tonight was a low-key chill night with o e of my friends and after both having a long week, we simply didn't want to gamble with trying something new and being disappointed so we picked a spot that we knew wouldn't disappoint. The ambiance is always right. The waiter was hilarious and patient with us. The food was FREAKING GREAT!! I didn't take too many pics because I was busy enjoying the food service and company. This is absolutely my fave Indian food restaurant in MN, hands down.

I'm not an expert on Indian food but this is kind of my comfort food. Had the paneer Tikka which is probably my favorite veg dish in the world and there's is really solid. Staff is pretty good. Better for lunch than dinner in my mind

I got the below items and while everything tasted fine, the flavors weren't very robust. Everything was ordered at Mild spice level which had a tiny kick, and the first two came with basmati rice. For some reason they put all the rice in one large foil container, which I later remembered happened last time (2-3 yrs ago). Honestly I wish they wouldn't! Anyway, while nothing tasted bad, 3 stars is the highest rating I can give. FOOD REVIEW: * Palak Paneer -Okay. I can't place my finger on it, but something in the flavor was lacking, and fell a bit flat. * Lamb Vindaloo - Okay. Noticeably more potatoes than lamb. The sauce was a bit thick, almost like canned tomato paste. *Gobi Manchurian - Meh. It was little too acidic (think tomato vs vinegar). Also, sadly it was soggy due to how it was packaged(see pic). They may want to consider using a container that allows steam to escape. *Garlic naan - Okay. TBH I would have been just as fine with the frozen garlic naan from Trader Joes. If I give it another try in the future, and it's for me and someone else I will request they place each entrees rice in it's own container. With stewed/saucy meats and veggies, I like to combine each bite with rice. Without a dedicated foil plate of my own (and say we don't have access to plates 'cause we're out) what do I do? Continuously dip my (used) fork into the communal rice to add into my small container of entree?! Anyway, on a positive note, they do have a decent number of parking spots in the small lot and a lot of tables if you want to dine in.

The Gobi 65 was extremely spicy, heavily topped with chilli powder. We ended up scratching off the top layer to remove the spices but it didn't help. The chole in chole bhature was also much spicier to the point where it overpowered all the other flavors. The bhature was very doughy inside and tasted like it had been fried in oil that had been reused many times. We also ordered aloo paratha which had very little filling approximately only about 10% with most bites being just plain dough. This was one of the worst Indian dining experiences we've had. We kept hoping at least one of the dishes would be nice, but unfortunately every item we ordered was disappointing. I hope the restaurant can improve the quality of these dishes.

If you weren't hungry before, you will be now. The restaurant is clean, the background music is at a good volume and we were able to get a booth right away. The booths are a bit on the smaller side for four people. Our drink orders included mango lassi, glasses of white wine (heavy pours ), and sparking water. Every glass was emptied. Pairing with our drinks we ordered chicken 65, spice level 3, and Dahi Puri. The chicken 65 was delicious but at a spice level 3 it was the tippy top of my spice level. The Dahi Puri needs to be eaten in one bite. The shell is fragile and is filled with liquid - very good but not what we expected. We each ordered our own entree, but they are big enough to be shared. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Shahi Korma, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Makhani. All were ordered at spice level 3, except the Chicken Tikka. These were milder and easier for my Minnesota spice palette to handle. We also ordered multiple orders of regular naan and garlic naan. I appreciate that they served the naan and rice together instead of individual servings. With limited table space the fewer plates the better. We had plenty of leftovers for us all to take home. Overall this was a delicious dinner and I'd highly recommend!
