Took our sister's family here for the 1st time today. There were only a few tables that were occupied. Since there was 8 of us (4 kids) we opted to sit in the back room. We ordered right away but the food seemed to have taken longer than it should have to come out. Again there weren't very many people there. We ordered 10 hot wings, the maple Cheddar Burger and the "Rachel" which was a turkey sandwich with sauerkraut. They used to have the best wings but the last few times we have ordered them, they were a disappointment. They are very small and really crispy. The burger was ok, could have been better if it came on a constanza roll as the buns they use are too big. Nothing to write home about but their fries were very yummy. My husband had the "Rachel" and said it was ok but nothing special. Most of the kids had grilled cheese with fries and apple sauce and they enjoyed them. The oldest kid ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and loved it. If your looking for a good IPA, they have a few to choose from. This place is very popular in the winter time for snowmobilers and in the summer for the bikers. It sits right on the Indian Falls. Great views. read more

Food was just okay, and that might be good enough if perhaps you'd been hiking all day and you were hungry enough to eat a truck. But on a recent visit (10/28/18 around 6 PM), something was seriously wrong here: The staff had discovered the worst radio station in the world and the volume was loud enough to strip paint off a wall. This is the kind of special , funky, pure and easy place to go on a warm summer afternoon, perhaps after a day spent picking blueberries at Greg's U-Pick on Lapp Road in Clarence... Beer, birchbeer, wings, weck, fried bologna, I think they even have a turkey burger for the calorie counters in our midst... Sit out on the deck overlooking the falls...this is not a huge falls, mind you, but pure and simple. The people are real, the staff is real and the food is tre reasonable. Beautiful Harley's parked outside. Try not to pay too much attention to the flies....sorry they do get in thru the screens...one negative, I suppose, if that kind of thing bothers you....and perhaps it should...but it is so pure and easy here that hey, even I can not complain...Fish fry...did someone say fish fry???? And and and.... they take rez's for that on Fridays...so all u bflo guys and gals, head on down to this diamond in the rough...I hate using cliches, but this is it...pure and simple!!! read more

Just enjoyed a dinner here, not our first time and probably not the last. Good food and prices, service is friendly and fast. We both had a cup of French Onion soup to start, quite good. My wife had a daily special of shredded beef and cheddar, served on a hard roll with a pickle and chips. I had the Indian Falls burger, a half pound burger with lettuce, tomato and onion, cheese of your choice and fries. Everything was very good and a reasonable price. The view is really stunning. We came here after hiking in Letchworth, and it was a good dinner. Service was a little slow, but nothing too bad. We ordered drinks and burgers. The fries were great - those double-fried kind that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (my favorite). Looking around, we noticed some really tasty looking dishes we might have to try next time, including Buffalo Bread, which was garlic pull-apart bread loaded with buffalo wings and cheese. Visiting from Ohio, my family and I googled "restaurants near me" looking for anything except a chain. We came across this place, which is contently located right by Darien Lake. When we pulled in, there was a band playing and they sounded great. The view of the waterfall is gorgeous, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it is FANTASTIC. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I am pleasantly surprised. My mom ordered the steak and my brother ordered Rubin and they both also love it. After 3 good meals they totally dropped the ball. I raved about their Tuesday prime rib special and brought my boss to try it. Awful, just awful. We ordered rare-medium-rare but received well done. The cut of meat was half as thick as previous weeks. I ordered baked potato but received cold mashed. When my boss finally complained the waitress went into the kitchen four feet away and shouted loud enough for us to hear that we were "F@#$ing a$$hole$. After thinking it over and talking with friends we think we know what happened. The previous Tuesday it thunder stormed and rained like crazy. I went with a friend and had a great meal. This place is a perfect project for bar rescue!!! It's dark,dirty and the servers clearly cater only to their regulars! We asked to be seated in the area overlooking the creek and was told the tables were reserved. No problem. Waited 10 minutes for the worst bloody Mary ever. The food was just ok. It wasn't busy ,yet 4 servers were there hanging around chatting it up with each other and regular customers at the bar. By the end of our meal we could not wait to get out of there. We went up to the bar to cash out and the A.D.D. bartender saw us ,yet ignored Us. Finally, she went to cash Us out and she didn't know where our bill was. We had to point it out to her. Then as she gave my boyfriend his change back, $20, she rudely told Him " Don't spend it all in one place " And btw, those "reserved" tables, never saw a customer the whole hour we were there! I have been here by Harley and snowmobile years ago. I recently stopped by...and yes the food is reasonably priced and good. What a dive it has become. The owners clearly take in the revenue with out putting a penny into the place. Simply put...its not only filthy...its in dis-repair . I was even more disgusted by the restroom. Omg! I have a new criterion for reviews. One star is "Give me my time and money back!" Two stars is "Next time, we'll go to Applebee's...." This is definitely a two star place. Mind you, it wasn't bad. If you're in the area, and you need a place to eat, and you don't want to drive more than 10 miles, then you're probably better off here than at, say, the truck stop down the road. This was pretty much our situation when we stopped by here, in fact. I had one of the specials, which was a smoked bourbon pork. What this evidently means is that the bourbon was smoked, then poured over a pan fried pork chop. The pork chop itself (minus the smoked bourbon sauce) was loaded with pepper. It had never seen the inside of a smoker. I got the mashed sweet potatoes as my side. If, when Thanksgiving comes around, you're the one who dives into the candy-glazed sweet potatoes, with marshmallows added to make them sweeter, then you'll like the mashed sweet potatoes. Otherwise, these will be far too sweet to be palatable. That being said, I'll point out that the deep fried vegetables were actually pretty good, as were the french fries and chicken fingers. I daresay this pattern is suggestive... One more detraction: the fly problem. It was raining outside (pouring, in fact...), and yet there were flies. This was noted by the other reviewer, in a review dated two years ago; whatever the problem was, they still haven't fixed it. read more

Went for dinner tonight and won't be back again. There were 4 adults and 2 children in my party. We sat at 6:20, ordered appetizer then ordered dinner. The dinner order was placed at 7:13pm when we asked for the food at 7:45pm (mostly because of hungry children), it still wasn't' ready. Come to find out, the ticket fell from the line and was just sitting on the table. Even with Shelby (who was awesome) kept asking, the cooks never stopped to ask where the order was. So this place has some unique features. The beautiful surroundings and tranquility. You can sit outside and have a drink but there will be people near you, if you don't mind then go for it. They don't seem to serve food out there. A porch area were you can eat and enjoy the falls. The place is old, it is run down,but not dirty. The food is good but not fantastic. Onion soup is slightly on salty side and could have a pinch more cheese. Fish fry is good and you get a ton of food. Service is friendly but not the quickest. We went one week and I thought our server was new but then she made a comment to make me think she had been working there awhile. The next time we went service was just as slow. It was a Friday night but both times there was no wait at door and hostess had commented that they weren't that busy. If you are out for a drive it is a neat place to stop and have a bite to eat, if you are in a hurry try someplace else. read more

Never come to this place. I was excited to go here with my family and as soon as I pulled in a waitress started screaming at me saying I could not trespass and that she was going to have me arrested. She did not give me the time of day to explain that I was there to eat. She was under the impression that I was going to go hiking in the creek behind the restaurant. We left and came back a couple minutes later and once again she came out screaming on the phone saying she was going to have us arrested for trespassing. Not professional at all I see this restaurant going no where. Had reservations for 2 for a party of 6, and was promised we could get tables in the back room overlooking the falls. Get there at 1:55, no tables free in the back room. My father complained that he's seen them put reserved signs on the tables before, and the waitress shot him dirty looks all night. This place is truly a hidden gem of Genesee county! Had lunch there Wednesday on the porch overlooking the waterfalls- a must see!- and the view is very nice as the sun sets. My boyfriend had a burger, very fresh and grilled nicely. The grilled prime rib sandwich I ordered was delicious!! Blackened on the grill and served on a toasted garlic roll. So good! Our waitress- Amanda was such a sweet girl. Definitely stop by here if you like a nice, relaxing meal with a scenic touch! The fall leaves are beautiful at this time of year. The rapid flowing creek outside in an ice storm was very picturesque. The food is good and the drinks are cold. The menu has a surprising amount of options and all of the food is pretty good. Some of the "specials" are a tad pricey. If you looked at the menu and tasted the food you would think you were at a fancy restaurant. My grandson and I were out for a ride and decided to stop and get a bite to eat. This place is a gem!. We were treated to delicious food and a SPECTACULAR view of the Indian Falls. My grandson had the 4 piece chicken dinner with fries and he loved it. Now granted he is a 13 year old boy but he raved and ate every bite. I had a steak sandwich and a cup of french onion soup. The broth was very flavorful I personally would have liked more cheese melted on it but that is just personal preference. The steak was ordered medium and was grilled perfectly. Awesome view, good diner food. This is a rustic diner with a gorgeous view. The staff is friendly, the menu varied (burgers, salads, entrees, wings). This is a family owned country establishment, with a vibrant bar trade. There is a very casual vibe here folks, in the winter there will be snowmobiles in the parking lot, Harleys in the summer, farmers in overalls. Kind of the "anti-chain". If this isn't your thing, fair enough, but I seek out places like this. The Carolina Gold salad is excellent, as is the Maple cheddar bacon burger. They have a solid grilled prime rib sandwich. The wings are great too. Casual, good food, great view! What more do you need? read more
