My wife and I were returning home from a weekend trip. We decided to stop for an early dinner. We arrived, and the hostess (eventually) greeted us. We asked if we could sit outside and enjoy the view. She asked for a moment to prepare our table. She then directed us to a lovely table. SEVERAL minutes later the server showed up and told us the table was reserved. There was no physical evidence or other indication that the table was reserved. We reluctantly changed tables. Several more minutes pass and the server returns she decides to take our beverage order. Several more minutes passed and another couple requested the same table we were removed from. They too were told it was RESERVED (still no table tent indicating reserved)! They spoke to someone inside and were allowed to remain at the table! I spoke to the manager who did absolutely nothing!!!!! We had to leave at this point so 1 stare just because it exists. The food might be good but we never got that far. FYI be careful of type o's on the menu that can be misleading!!!!! PS We were there for at least 45 minutes and the mysterious party who reserved the table never showed up! read more

Walked in and waited a few minutes to be sat. There were maybe 5 seated tables. We got a spot over looking the falls which was the best part. We waited over 15 minutes for our drinks. Should have known it was going to continue to go down hill when the table next to us got up and left after complaining about the food. We got the French onion soup (after 45 minutes) and there was a long, black Pubic hair embedded between the onions the server asked how it was and we showed her the hair and she said "sorry, there's just some guy in the kitchen"...? After waiting another 15 minutes we were told our burgers should be out soon. Continued waiting and we left. Left some cash for her time and left. Driving quickly past this place you might think it is an Indian trading post. It is as rustic as they come. Inside it is just as rustic as the outside with the bar on the left and the dining room to the right as an extension of the bar. Then there is a sitting room out by the Indian Falls. Try to get a table by the window as it is a major part of the experience going here. We ordered the boneless wings and burgers, fried bologna, Italian wedding soup, grilled ham and swiss, etc. Everyone really liked everything. I really want to love this place but the food is bringing it down. The location is really neat as it sits right on the water with a small waterfall and even in the winter it was beautiful. This view is only if you sit in the back room which is very limited (maybe 7 tables) and would be worth the wait to get a seat there because the inside was loud and very dark more of a bar scene than a restaurant. The food was just ok and nothing that I would want to return for. I went out of my comfort zone and tried the maple bacon burger which had a maple cheddar cheese on it and it actually complimented the burger a lot (it needed it because it was thin and not flavorful) and the roll and amount of lettuce just took over that I forgot I was eating a burger.i also do not think anyone in the buffalo area should serve a burger on any roll that is not a constanzos! read more

We have always loved this place! Food was always good and service was top notch! Today was a completely different story. The service was awful, we waited 30 minutes to be waited on, then another 45 minutes to get food! The place had a few empty tables, so it wasn't because it was packed! There were two servers who stopped to chat and laugh with each other throughout our time there while we waited to be taken care of. We ordered two sandwiches, nothing major, and 45 minutes later, we were ready to get up and walk out!!! Totally unacceptable!! I thought this place was great! My boyfriend and I were taking a trip up to the reservation and ultimately Niagara Falls so he decided to bring me here for a casual scenic lunch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a super friendly bartender who complimented my top and pointed us in the direction of a table out on the porch area. A server immediately came over, brought us menus and took our drink orders. We both ended up ordering the "Beef on Weck" - highly recommend. The sandwiches came with au jus, fries and on an "everything" kaiser roll...yum. The sandwiches took a little time to come out but we were really enjoying the falls right next to us and making jokes to one another - time flew. 10/10 would be back. The only reason for 4 stars is the restaurant itself isn't super clean. I did see them wiping the tables down after each customer with sanitizer and clean cloths. There were some cobwebs in the corners, my knife had some black on it (whether it be tarnish or whatever..I just didn't use it). I can look past these things as it is kind of a dive spot, great food, friendly atmosphere and absolutely beautiful scenery - 100% up my alley. If you put a banana skin on the floor of a restroom in Bombay, next thing you know: Indian Falls. Out in the middle of nowhere, you may be lucky enough to stumble upon this place. If you do stumble on it, and you happen to be from South Asia, you may justify the town name yet again: Indian Falls. Just don't stumble behind it because you might fall into the rapids. This is a very romantic little place, it's lovely and has a beautiful view. The food isn't the absolute best in the world, but it's well worth a trip for the surroundings and the prices aren't too bad. I had a burger and it was good, I'd like to try something else sometime, I've heard their wings are good. There's not many places in the area where you can dine overlooking beautiful rapids and a dreamy little river gorge, so take advantage of it! Take a date there! Great spot for that :) read more

Back in March (03/10/2023), we visited the Log Cabin for their Friday night fish fry, and the guy plowing the restaurant's parking lot hit my parked car. Adding insult to injury, just went there this evening (06/19/2023), simply ordered a hamburger and a chicken sandwich to eat, and we left after waiting 40 minutes for NOTHING but the ginger ale that I had ordered to drink. No refills, NOTHING. The server went missing in action shortly after serving our drink order. Suffice it to say, as of late, we've had bad and we've had worse experiences at the Log Cabin. Consequently, they have officially lost us as customers. We won't be dining there any longer. I would honestly rate them zero stars if Yelp allowed it. read more

Horrible experience! Terrible customer service, rude, inappropriate staff and unprofessional management. Went there yesterday my birthday dinner. Waited almost an hour and a 1/2 to get our food! There were others that were seated after us but got their food before us! And the waitress was unbelievably RUDE! My husband ordered a burger, medium, with only lettuce and pickles, he does not like condiments or cheese. After our food arrived, there was mayo on it and the burger was burned! When the waitress finally came back to check on us he was just a wee bit POed. He told her he didn't want it but she said they would get him a new bun. He again said he didn't want it. She took it away, then came back with it, placed it on the table and walked away. After a few minutes she came back and asked rather snidely if it was better. He told her again he did not want it, a new bun doesn't make any difference, the burger was burned and by the time they brought another one, I would be done. Then the real fun started! W: "You'd rather leave here hungry than eat this burger?" H: "I can stop at McDonald's on our way home." W: "Fine, I'll comp your bill." She leaves, I finish eating my bland, oily fish fry with a baked sweet potato (I only got 1/2 a small potato which was just this side of burned) and she comes back with the bill. W (with total attitude): "Your bill has been comped. Merry Christmas." We go to the bar and my husband asks to speak to the manager. After he tells the manager about our experience, there's no apology, just excuses. When he tries to pay the bill, he's told he has to pay the waitress. He pays the waitress and when she gives him the change she says "I gave you extra dollar in change so you can get your hamburger at McDonald's." Beautiful location, excellent food. We stopped on the way back from the Buffalo airport on the way to Rochester. My friend had the maple cheeseburger. Ahh the log cabin. I can't help but think of how many time we drove by here and noticed how busy it always was and often mentioned how we had to stop and try it once. Today was the day. What an awesome location over looking Indian falls! Very cool for sure. Very rustic adirondack meets woods meets wilderness inside. I like it. The food? Well I hear many mention of "it's okay" but to be honest does ok food make this place busy all the time? I mean really! We had some wings to start. Char grilled Cajun style and I have to say they where done very well. Nice smokey char taste with the Cajun rub. The wings had a nice crisp to it with tender meat underneath. Yum! I'll certainly be getting these again! I also had the maple burger and I like the fact they use yancy fancy cheese for it! Way to support the locals!!! The burger itself was good, the bacon had a subtle maple flavor and had just the right amount of crisp to it. The roll was very and I mean very fresh and wasn't the normal costanzos version. I sense it was perhaps made at a local bakery, because it was good! The burger as a whole was decent in size (could be bigger than a half pound version) but that's the only complaint I could find for the whole experience here. What it lacked some portion wise it certainly made it up in taste! Next time I'm happy to pull up a chair, grab some beers and eat a pile of char wings. Guess that means we're headed back! read more

On 4/18/19 went to the log cabin with our two children. The hostess from the moment we walked in the door was extremely rude and not welcoming. We were one of two tables seated in the back when we arrived. More people started coming in and every table (7) was served before us even though they came in after us. Furthermore, our waitress came to our section and never once checked in on us or apologized for the wait-it was well over an hour. My husband had to go to the bar and get his own drink and napkins. Several other tables were upset about the lack of service, incorrect orders and/or cold food. I spoke to our waitress after we paid our bill and told her we were upset with the lack of service. As we were walking to the car the hostess shouted, "Don't come back." Don't worry, we won't. If 0 stars was an option I would have chosen that. read more
