This is a very quaint and great place for Indian food. The pizza is deliciously good, perfect crust and the flavor is great! I love Indian food , I'm glad we have one here!! The chicken is so tender and perfect! I'f you haven't tried it yet, it's a must!! So much selection to offer !!

We ordered Indian Chicken Tiki Masala and Butter Chicken pizza! So good love the crust!!

Prices are a bit high. 13 dollars for a salad bar is a lot considering there's no broccoli, no cauliflower, not really a lot of side choices to choose from and there was no bacon and it looked like it was all empty. One large pizza, two medium pizzas, three drinks, two salad bars, $130. That's a little pricey.

I wanna like and support this place. God knows we could use a little more diversity when it comes to restaurants around Placerville. I love Indian food. Shout out to Sanskrit in Folsom, my favorite! We ordered a mango lassi, a chicken tikka pizza in large, and chicken wings. The mango lassi was thick and creamy, and you can definitely taste the cardamom which I appreciated, but my husband did not. The kiddo enjoyed it. The tikka masala pizza was OK. BD said it was all right, the kiddo did not like it, and I found it tasting like tinned tomatoes. Or maybe the raw onion was too strong? Like imagine eating curry and sprinkling chopped raw red onions on top. Almost like the curry did not have a chance to meld together yet. After letting it rest for a night, I air fried the leftovers and it was OK. I did ask for extra tikka sauce so my pizza wasn't dry like a previous reviewer said. And I didn't mind the crust which had a nice bite to it and was not under done. The chicken wings were soft as it's baked and not fried to a crisp. It was my favorite part of the meal as I chose one of the Indian spices (the pickling one). The meal comes with a Smokey Chipotle sauce and ranch. Those didn't go well with what we ordered. Wish there was a chutney sauce too. BD does not like floppy soft skin on his wings so this was a no for him. I like Tika masala curry, but my favorite is butter chicken. I wanna like the idea of Indian pizza, but I'm not sure it translates well. However, I think they can make a killing offering a chicken butter curry that they can scoop up with a melty cheese pizza. It's giving curry and naan vibes and happens to be trending all over social media currently. I bet the regular pizzas and wings would be good. Kiddo's friends say they like the regular pizzas. I bet they'd do well if they offered normal Indian curries on the side too. It doesn't have to be on pizza. Good luck!

vegan Desi Garden Pizza

vegan Desi Garden Pizza, with no cheese due to allergies and preference. Delicious balance of flavors - I suggest you ask for extra mushrooms and put jalapeños on the side as we did. The Tikka sauce has a warm, almost hot spice, which was good for me. Lots of cilantro, which we enjoyed, balanced with tomatoes. They brought two creamy sauces that had milk.

Butter chicken pizza and tandoori chicken wings

I recommend the butter chicken pizza and tandoori wings. So delicious, I couldn't stop eating. It was so addictive!

Chicken Tikka Masala pizza. The crust had a nice crunch & the pizza was flavorful. Try the side sauces drizzled on top. The Indian beer is smooth and tasty. We will be back.

This place caught our eye on a late Monday night being one of the few restaurants open. We got the mango lassie, mango mojito, and chicken tikka masala pizza. Everything was excellent!! What a unique fusion of food from different cultures. The arcade kept us occupied while we waited for our meal.

The pizza was incredibly delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the flavors were amazing. I would definitely order it again!"

Kids quest may as well be called godsend for parents because this is just something that does not exist anywhere in my experience as a parent of a four and seven-year-old! The staff was incredibly helpful in getting this oriented to the experience and help the kids. We got signed up really quickly and the kids were in and having a blast in no time which let us head back to the casino to check it out and also explore Apex. The kids told us they had an absolute blast in space and that the counselors were friendly and kind and helpful, and that they couldn't wait to return. Personally, I want to come vacation at Redhawk again just because I know this exists and it means that I could enjoy dinner with my wife or even head out and find something fun to eat or do in Placerville surrounding area because this place is open late! It is located in the Palladio, but still offers a decent amount of parking. The inside was huge - with a massive dining area and TV screens to match, a large Sports Bar and an even bigger arcade area. We had a party of 7 and were seated immediately - we ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries, Fire-Grilled Salmon, Calamari, Kids Pepperoni Pizza, Spinach Dip and Fish and Chips. Everything was actually pretty decent and we enjoyed most of what we ordered. We also went with a Strawberry Margarita and the Million Dollar Margarita which were both very good as well. Along with our meals, we did the Eat & Play deal - we did 1 with the $35 Power Card and 1 with the Unlimited Game Play for 90 minutes which was definitely worth it. 90 minutes is plenty of time, but the tickets max out at 1500 which is the only downsize. They had a ton of games like different types of Pac-Man, Space Invaders, a UFC game, basketball hoops, Guitar Hero and even a ride on Hungry Hungry Hippos to name just a few. They even had a giant claw machine that you could be strapped into and grab giant inflatables - it's an additional $20 to play though. Our family also loved the Cotton Candy machine - they were works of art for only $7! Overall, we had a great time, but the Prize Center sucks and is one big pyramid scheme like most arcades. We will be back again soon!

I grew up in the golden era of gaming, the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s when weekends meant blowing into dusty cartridges, late-night multiplayer battles, and flipping through Game Informer magazines dreaming about the next big release. Those games weren't just entertainment, they were core memories of my childhood. Now, seeing my son discover and fall in love with those same games and magazines has been something really special. Ever since we moved to Sacramento a few years ago, every visit to 1-Up has felt like stepping into a real-life time machine. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by nostalgia, memories, and pure joy. Whether it's seeing shelves packed with retro classics or spotting consoles you haven't touched in 20+ years, it instantly takes you back. The owner and staff are all incredibly cool, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about gaming history. I'm always blown away by the little-known facts and stories they know about these old-school titles. You can tell this isn't just a business to them, it's something they truly love. Special shoutout to Travis for the amazing customer service and for hooking my son up with a PS2 Slim in fantastic working condition. Seriously, where else can you walk in today and find a retro console like that, fully functional, along with a huge selection of games ready to relive those memories? I would love nothing more than to see businesses like 1-Up continue to succeed and thrive in the face of online competition. Places like this keep the memories, community, and fun alive for old gamers and new generations alike. Sacramento is lucky to have them. Game over? Not here at 1-Up, the memories just keep hitting "Continue."

They carry video games from a plethora of consoles. They also have collectibles, box/collector sets, videos, etc. Long story short, I left with a pile of goodies. I thought the store was spacious to walk around with other people around. The displays were great. I liked how they converted an old grocery store veggie stand into a display on the right side. The only bummer is the tape and stickers used on the merchandise. I bought some mint in box items and the sticker price tag was so hard to peel off. It left a very bad sticky residue. I was able to clean it off most of the items. But, I worried that the paper boxes would be damaged if I used a solution. The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. I enjoyed the little lounge area in the front right while waiting for friends to checkout.
