I know Jaymit personally, and I've seen firsthand the dedication and effort he poured into bringing Indulgia Food Truck to life. It took him two years of relentless hard work--truly putting his blood, sweat, and tears into creating something extraordinary. For top-notch Indo-fusion comfort food near USC, Indulgia is the place to go. Known for standout dishes like Chole Tacos, Vada Pav, and the addictive Samosa Chaat, this food truck has become a favorite for students and locals alike. As both founder and chef, Jaymit ensures that every dish is crafted with care, passion, and fresh ingredients. His bold flavors and attention to detail leave an impression on vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Conveniently parked near USC, Indulgia is more than just a meal--it's a testament to one man's vision and commitment. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Once you've tried it, you'll see why it's a 5-star favorite on Yelp!

My first ever Yelp review - honored to give it to Indulgia. My family and I did a day trip in Santa Barbara, and this food was the best part of the trip. Every item was the most delicious version of that food I've ever had. I had the Samosa Chaat, Papdi Chaat, and Chole Tacos. Each item was presented very well, despite being in to-go boxes and plates. The amount of green chutney, meetha, and yogurt in each item was perfect. You could tell each item was crafted with close care. The vibe of the food truck is perfect. It is branded in a very modern and inviting manner. There are only a handful of menu items, as it should be - I will take quality over quantity any day. My family and I had a great conversation with Jay, the owner. His passion is clearly shown through his amazing food and his conversations. If this quality continues, Indulgia will continue to be a success. Everyone should support Indulgia! My only complaint is that there needs to be more locations (particular at my hometown)

I've gone to this food truck several times and I talk about it constantly! If you see them around get the arancini, it's a phenomenal take on the classic arancini and I can't say enough good about it!

Omg so delicious!! I hope everyone gets to try their food at some point. Incredibly flavorful. And it was a feast for all the senses. My eyes were just as happy as my tummy. Look at these tacos!!

Service was great, staff was very friendly. Food came out piping hot, walked half a mile home and the temperature was perfect. I love anything szechuan so had to try the szechuan paneer monos. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ingredients, and the spice isn't overpowering. I hope they come to my neighborhood again and that they keep serving this dish!

We gave Barsha a call and they were more than happy to accommodate us! Plus they were extra kind to set our pup up with a massive bowl of ice cold water. We were quite overwhelmed by the food menu because literally everything sounded delicious. Literally everything we ordered exceeded out expectations. - The Falafel sliders are the most ordered item for a reason. Absolutely incredible with the perfect amount of flavor; deliciously crispy falafel and amazing buns. We ordered this dish twice! It was that damn good. - The crispy bread sounds pretty straight forward but it was also a standout. High quality bread all nice and toasty paired with this incredible olive-infused butter. - The Tunisian bruschetta almost got ordered twice as well. The tuna was phenomenal and makes for a great shared plate. I'm a sucker for any dish with an egg on it so will 100% be ordered this next time we stop in. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to order the lamb meatballs nor the tounsi brik. But I'm very eager to stop back in and give those a try. Also, major shout out to the staff. The service was absolutely incredible. CJ was our main server but literally every staff member that we interacted with was kind to our son, kind to our dog and kind to us. Servers gave what felt like genuine recommendations and it seemed like the team members enjoyed working there. We admittedly came in with low expectations and walked away convinced that we've found a new local favorite. Please go give this place a try!

Tableware is pretty basic, but the food definitely isn't, customer service was excellent too. We wanted one of everything on the menu, including the specials that day, but went with: Crazy about Beets - beautiful magenta beet hummus with yellow roast beet sprinkled with pistachio and dukkah with charred tomatoes. The flavours, texture, and freshness was a stand out. Really loved this dish.10/10 Roasted Cauliflower - OMG died and gone to heaven! 100/10 Falafel Sliders - 2 in a serve so you can share, crunchy, spicy, oh so moreish, good flavour and texture 8/10 Quinoa Tabbouleh - lovely lemony mouthfuls with a mint hit Chicken Mosli - the turmeric broth was amazing, soaking the veg and chicken in such a flavourful broth made everything extra 10/10 De Soi Rose - a pre mixed drink which had a pleasant berry taste (rather like Ribena if you are from the UK), refreshing and easy to drink Baumgartner white wine - Austria, little of a wine gum taste akin to sav blanc, not as much of the pepper taste I was expecting, but still eminently drinkable We really enjoyed our dinner and will be back again soon, with the beets and cauliflower definitely our first choices followed by something different, as we work our way through the entire menu!

Alright, it took me a second to gather my thoughts, but here it is…read more I came to Soul Food Shack with my expectations set squarely on the food. I was only in Cali for a short while, and this spot happened to be about 15 min down the street from where I was staying. Perfect location, and I was curious to see how Cali does soul food. From the first bite, it hit me Emotionally triggered as I was transported straight back to my childhood. It felt like I was sitting at the kitchen table in New Orleans, eating my nanny's candied yams, greens, macaroni, and fried chicken. The flavors had that deep, home-cooked love, that is not taken for granted or lost on me, so hats off to the cook! That kind of food doesn't just fill you up; it connects you,and to top it off, the drinks? Man, they serve that real deal kol-aid. The kind I used to drink as a kid. As I was eating, I started thinking about how food ties us to previous & future generations. It's wild how dishes once considered scraps i.e: greens, yams, cornbread, oxtails, are now sought out in restaurants just like this one. These meals are more than just food; they're stories of survival, resilience, and community. But I digress, I know y'all didn't come here for a history lesson in Black culture, so I'll leave it at that. Now, onto the standouts. The mac and cheese and yams? Easily the stars of the plate. I like my yams runny and solid, because I love mixing it with the cornbread. Sweet, savory, soft--that combo hits every time. The macaroni? Seasoned perfectly. Creamy, rich, and not bland like you sometimes get at other spots . That's rare, and I don't take it for granted. Overall, Soul Food Shack gave me more than just a good meal, it gave me a taste of home, miles away from where I grew up. If you're ever in Inglewood and need some food that feeds more than just your stomach, pull up, tap in, eat up.

This would have easily been a 5-star review if I hadn't gotten sick the last time I ate here…read more I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito (the Vegana Toast made into a burrito) with vegan bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes after eating it, I got sick. My guess is that something may have been off with the Just Egg, but I can't say for sure. The mini waffles were a disappointment. They seemed deep-fried, smelled heavily of grease, and weren't soft at all. They even left the bag soaked with grease. On the positive side, the vegan BLT was phenomenal--super flavorful, unique, and one of the best vegan sandwiches I've had. I really want to give this place another chance because the food has so much potential, but I'm honestly still a little hesitant after my last experience.
