But I don't recall ever having stepped into one of their stores. This site was once a chain drug store location. WSS' contactors took time with the build out. I assume that this is one of their prototype stores. The store makes a good impression: It is clean and bright. The shelves and displays are full and organized; there is room to maneuver. They don't seem to be pushing high priced editions; they appear to focus on practical everyday wear. The pricing is competitive. I popped into what I believe is a soft opening. I was curious. Based on this first impression, I would consider shopping here.

Alright, it usually takes a lot (now) for me to write a negative review but I feel like this place…read moredefinitely screamed for it. So I walk in, and there's 2 young ladies in the front register. I'm like ok cool, maybe they'll come and ask me for assistance later on. Boyyyyy was I wrong, I was in there walking around for a cool 15-25 mins with not one team member asking me if I had any questions or was doing alright (keep in mind there was not one customer on the sales floor other than me). I did notice that they asked the couple that had just walked in if they were doing alright! I ended up picking out a shoe and took it all the way to them in the front and kindly asked if they had it in a particular size. They brought my size out, I purchased it and left. I work in sales, so I know the importance in greeting guests and providing exceptional guest service overall but man this place did not have that at all. Probably won't come back in here again tbh.

What kinda mess is that. The young salesgirl behind the counter was even embarrassed to keep referring to the manager for any questions I had about the sizes. I honestly thought this was a sample store like all the shoes were priced as is because it was something was wrong with the shoe, last season styles or they only came in a size 8, all jokes aside. I drove to Del Amo for a pair of sandals and picked up some sneakers from new balance on Hawthorne. I hope business picks up so the manager finds reason to accommodate someone other then a size 8 or possibly 9, 9.5, or 10 in women's shoe. I needed a new pair of running shoes and managed to score a pair of $145 shoes for $69.50, plus two t-shirts for less than $10 each. The store was pretty organized and clean, and the person who helped us checkout was friendly and efficient working the register. Worth stopping by and keeping an eye out for sales!

The only interaction I had with the store after my purchase was when I returned the same day to try to return the shoes. No one from the store ever contacted me afterward to follow up or try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, no resolution was offered. Still the worse experience I've ever had. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. ---- Road Runner Sports started as a promising experience but turned into one of the most frustrating customer service situations I've had. I came in to buy running shoes, and the initial process seemed great. The associate scanned my feet (which was actually pretty cool), had me try insoles, and brought out three shoe options that fit my profile. However, communication was difficult, he was mostly mumbling, and I had to repeatedly ask him to clarify what he was saying. When I decided on a pair of ASICS, he immediately tried to upsell the insoles (around $120), even though I had only tried the shoes with those insoles, not with the original ones. That felt a bit misleading. At checkout, he also pushed the VIP membership, saying it would give me 90 days to try the shoes and return them if needed, making it sound like that flexibility depended on being a member. We declined. When I got home and tried to run in the shoes, I couldn't even last 90 seconds, they just didn't work for me. We called the store (using the number listed online) and were told that as long as the shoes looked brand new, we could return them. That gave us confidence to go back. Unfortunately, the in-store experience during the return was completely different. The associate told us: * The shoes did not qualify as "brand new" * We could not get a refund to the original payment method unless we were members * The only option was a gift card Then, again, we were offered the membership as a solution. The inconsistency between what we were told on the phone and what happened in-store, combined with the repeated upselling, made this a very frustrating experience. What started as a helpful, professional fitting ended with unclear policies and poor communication.

I have planters fasciitis and was trying to find a shoe that looked nice and was comfortable to…read morewear. The staff was helpful the first time I went in. But after wearing the shoes they hurt my feet horribly and all around my feet, including my toes. When I'm done with a full day of work, I can't wait to take them off. I tried to take them back for an exchange because I felt that they were too expensive ($200 plus) to just accept as being that uncomfortable when the store touts comfortable, orthopedic shoes. They would not exchange them due to them being worn a few times. I understand their policy but it's really hard to gauge full day comfortability without wearing them for a full day and the shoes were sold with the promise that they would be good for my feet; this was unequivocally false. Retaining customers and having them come back time and again because they like and trust your brand matters. I will not be shopping here again and would recommend trying other stores in your area if planters fasciitis plagues you. Before this I had gotten a pair of shoes from Evolution Footwear; I should have gone back there instead.

I was surprised that they actually expanded the store and half of the store is catered for plus size clothing, which is great! A lot of clothing stores don't offer plus size and they are really missing out on that market! They also added fitting rooms which is so awesome! I am not much of a color or crazy pattern kind of girl. I like solid colored shirts with a nice shape to them. When I need just a basic long sleeve shirt, this place is a great spot for it! Their long sleeves are around 5 bucks which is fair. They last pretty long and I wash the two I bought from here pretty often. This place doesn't offer anything special! They are just really convenient to shop at. It is a bit annoying when there is a line and two registers but the owner doesn't help by double ringing. She stands and watches, which is fair since the area they are located at isn't the most noble place. Its her business, so I suppose she will run it however she sees fit.
