Industry Cafe & Jazz is a cozy Ethiopian restaurant with live jazz music! I came with a group of friends on a Friday evening and we had a wonderful time enjoying the flavorful food and live music. The staff were so warm and friendly and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our experience at the restaurant. Parking is street parking. The one thing to note is that as expected, the live music can get quite loud above normal conversation volume. The food was so delicious and satisfying! We got the vegetarian platter (comes with yellow lentils, cabbage and potato blend, collard greens, and red lentils which have quite the kick!), the lamb tibs, and the chicken tibs (they had run out of their doro wat - classic Ethiopian chicken dish). Will definitely be back!

Mixed plate with chicken tibs, beef tibs, lentils, greens, and salad served family style.

We love coming to Industry Cafe and Jazz! The live music is always fun and creates such a great vibe. Eritrean food is absolutely delicious--my favorites are the sambus appetizer, the doro wat chicken dish, and the spicy lentils. They are generous with their wine pours, and the imported Eritrean beer is definitely worth a try. And it's all so reasonably priced! The owner is awesome about offering recommendations if you're new to this style of food, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming when we bring our kids. Our younger two have sensory issues and no one bats an eye or hesitates to accommodate their needs, which is refreshing. Between the food, the drinks, and the live jazz, it's one of our favorite spots to spend an evening.

Incredible flavors accompanied by peaceful jazz. Came on a Thursday night where there was a live pianist playing a mixture of holiday songs and other popular tunes. Paired with the screen fireplace and incense burning it made for a perfect cozy ambience on a rainy day. The food was fantastic with tender meats and lots of flavor packed dishes. The lamb was our favorite and is a must try! The service was great with our server explaining the different foods and sides since it was our first time trying Ethiopian food.

I enjoyed live jazz music from Peter Murray and ensemble. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Friendly service.

Came here for my birthday with a big group. We had the best time! Food was fantastic, service phenomenal, the band made me feel like a queen. Can't wait to come back!

This is a hidden gem! We found free street parking about a block away. If you have never had ethiopian food, this is a must. Walked in with my friend and they immediately serviced us. They usually play good jazz music in the background and on weekends they have live jazz music! We were walked through the menu to make sure we had a good understanding of the food. We ended up getting the Vegetarian Platter and the Doro Wat. They put it all together on the platter for us. This came with Injera bread, which is soft, rolled up, and has a slightly sour taste, similar to sourdough. They offered more to us later too! The flavors are so good! Lots a delicious seasoning. My favorite was the Doro Wat, which is a chicken dish. The chicken was SOOOO tender and teh sauce on it was delicious! At the end of the meal, they checked in and asked how we liked it. They were really friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes here. I'd love to try the lamb next time!

This made it super delicious. -yuzu-ginger tonic: verryyyyyy ginger heavy. Tasted like it would clear up any tummy issues for sure LOL - "French dip": my least favorite of the meal. I didn't particularly enjoy this, but I think it's maybe an acquired taste. The sandwich tasted almost bitter to me, and I am not a fan of bitter personally, so I wasn't a fan. My friend thought it was okay, but we agreed we wouldn't order it again. It was beautifully presented though lol - chicken schnitzel: so tasty! The chili crisp was delicious on top and I loved how crunchy and tender this was. It also didn't feel too heavy to me, even though it's literally fried chicken. The salad was fine, but nothing all that exciting. The staff were very kind, and the spot is super cute. I loved sitting outside and it was fun to eat at a place that feels high end without being stuffy or overly pretentious. I'd come back to try other items and just for the ambience, honestly!

It's an Italian-inspired menu with unexpected Asian touches, and honestly... the combination was incredible. The experience is super intimate with only few seats per seating, and the menu changes from seating to seating--so you may not get the exact dishes I had! (Tasting Table) My favorite was the chef's peach salad -- so refreshing and surprisingly complex, with the sweetness of the fruit, creamy cheese, and that very Italian olive oil dressing. But my true love was the chef's Korean-style chicken wings . Those wings were basically the BTS concert of the entire meal--the kind of dish that completely stole the show! I honestly lost count of how many dishes we got. All I remember is that by the end, we were completely stuffed and satisfied. No walking out hungry like some other omakase experiences! And the best part? Only $70 per person for this all-you-can-eat chef's tasting experience.
