You get 3 croquettes with a small salad under the croquettes per serving. $22 Drinks are strong so be aware. That could be a good or bad thing per person. Service: The service was also good, the staff was attentive and checked on our group multiple times. Good attitudes and most of the staff smiles. Atmosphere: The vibes are vibing, the inside was packed with nice decor and we had a reserved area outside towards the back. The outside is well put together and has plenty of space for groups and the single crowd. They had live music which was amazing and they played some jams. Each space has its own full bar and the outside area has a cigar space for those whonlike to enjoy a nice cigar with your food or drinks. Had a great time and enjoyed the space. Quite naturally I have to begin the hydration process with the Saratoga Still selection l. This has to be some of the best water ever. For starters the crowd was kind of thinned out which I guess in some respects is to be expected since football is ongoing, particularly the late game between Detroit and Kansas city, two heavy weights. CSA (customer service All Star) Pedro was in the house, so I was quick to ask for him. Even caught a glimpse of Pip himself! DJ Devoux was his usual self, spinning awesome tunes from the 70's-90's. I went here for a birthday party and was too busy socializing to take photos of my food smh I'm gonna have to go back and add them later. I ordered the stuffed artichoke and the vegan butternut squash lasagna. I also shared some shoestring fries. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! The stuffed artichoke was unique--it was stuffed with minced salmon on a bed of sautéed spinach. I could have done without the spinach though. The vegan lasagna was a pleasant surprised because I don't like the sweetness of butternut squash but it wasn't sweet at all. The service is great and the vibe was lively. We were outside and there was live music playing indoors. But since we were outside, we could actually hear our conversation. If we were inside, it probably would have been too loud to hear. The only thing I didn't like was that there were cigar smokers near our group. I'm sure inhaling cigar smoke for two hours shaved a couple years off my life :-( I'd definitely come back to have an event here but I would ask to not be seated near any smokers. read more

First off, the ambiance and the live music here are AMAZING. It was my second time coming here for dinner during jazz night which I absolutely loved both times. I don't remember if we were charged an entertainment fee before but I noticed the charge this time--still worth it imo. The service was not bad, however, the way food allergies are handled can be improved. I gave a list of my allergies ahead of time but unfortunately I still had a reaction to my entree. I ended up only being able to eat one of the appetizers that our table ordered (calamari) so I can say that was delicious. I also got the non-alcoholic sangria which was okay... I got the blackberry per our server's recommendation but in hindsight wish I tried a different flavor instead. All in all, still a good experience. I did take off a star due to the allergic reaction and because I still went home really hungry (lol) but the music more than made up for it. Would come back for that. read more

Went here for my nieces birthday on a Sunday. Terrible pricing, to charge the same fee for Unlimited mimosas or sangrias doesn't make sense. We had to pay $65 per person whether you chose to drink alcohol or not. I didn't like the ready-made mimosas not much carbonation to the champagne after it's been prepoured and uncovered. Staff was attentive, Mimosa was refilled from a premade pitcher, sangria was weak. We were sitting outside with no umbrella. The sun was very unforgiving it was 80 degrees. They should figure out some type of covering for a more enjoyable, outdoor experience. The food was very delicious the cod , coconut, shrimp, empanadas, pork ribs, chimmachuri were all very good. I can't say I would have ever tried or thought to make salmon lasagna was very unique and tasty. 2 dessert options would have been nice but just one and fruit was not enough. First time at Pips. The service was exceptional from valet parking to the greeting upon walking in, to the drinks, the delicious food and the entertainment. This restaurant/club operates like a well oiled machine. All of the service staff were excellent at their jobs, they work together and they worked very hard all night to provide some of the best service I've ever had. The salmon lasagna was delicious. TJ was our server and bartender. Our drinks were so delicious. I had a great evening listening to Madam D and the band and I will go again, very soon. The only draw back was that there was heavy cigar smoking in the back outside and the smoke kept coming inside the restaurant and it was very unpleasant. We asked for the for to be closed and each time they closed it, it was reopen it and all that heavy smoke was awful. No one smokes hardly anymore and it was really choking us. The servers were opening it to go out and serve those outside so I did understand that but the cigar smoke was terrible. My best friend brought me here to celebrate my birthday for a bottomless jazz brunch. It was nothing either of us would've expected. We walked in, paid straight away, grabbed our 1st room temperature drink, and were escorted outside on the patio. The patio looked very dirty & unkempt. The table we were sat was right by a tree directly in the sun. When we asked if we could be seated elsewhere, they denied our request. and stated the tables are assigned per reservation. We were quite uncomfortable, but we made due. The brunch food options were decent, but the quality of the food was subpar. It did not taste good. The fried chicken looked questionable. I NEVER turn down fried chicken, so there's clearly a problem. It looked unappetizing. The mimosas were flowing, no complaints about that. Eventually my best friend & I switched seats at an empty table outside of the sun, that was empty for quite some time. Luckily the staff didn't move us or scold us for moving. Re: the jazz, there was a young saxophonist who would randomly accompany music already playing. He was not playing with a band just solo adlibbing to existing music. We weren't very impressed. The route to the restrooms passes through the kitchen, which was really unusual. The restrooms were not properly stocked or maintained. All in all, regrettably, I would not come back. I have been driving by this spot for years and always see a line on Sundays. Well now I finally know why! It's awesome here. Valet is available, but we found super close street parking. The staff was exceptional, the manager had a hospitable aura and made everyone feel welcomed. I brought a friend for her birthday and am so happy that I did. You make a reservation online and prepay or pay at the door. $65/person covers brunch buffet with unlimited drinks. I have food allergies and asked if I could have something different than orange juice for my mimosas. The bartender was very understanding and immediately offered me pineapple then brought a small pitcher to my table! A saxophonist plays throughout the experience which was uplifting and fun. The buffet is set up on the patio with another bar and the atmosphere is great out there. People were dancing and living their best life! I don't often eat soul food so I was excited for this menu. Lots of options available, definitely something for everyone. My favorites were the chicken empanadas and salmon lasagna. It has been a long time since I had fried chicken and sadly I did not enjoy it today. I love an omelette bar which was promoted online but didn't see the setup for that. Maybe I missed it. A photographer came around to take our pictures. We were thinking it was to promote the event. She later comes to the table with our pics in frames trying to sell them to us lol I hate she went through that much trouble. I took way better pics on my phone but I'm not mad at the hustle.
