I went here for a birthday party and was too busy socializing to take photos of my food smh I'm gonna have to go back and add them later. I ordered the stuffed artichoke and the vegan butternut squash lasagna. I also shared some shoestring fries. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! The stuffed artichoke was unique--it was stuffed with minced salmon on a bed of sautéed spinach. I could have done without the spinach though. The vegan lasagna was a pleasant surprised because I don't like the sweetness of butternut squash but it wasn't sweet at all. The service is great and the vibe was lively. We were outside and there was live music playing indoors. But since we were outside, we could actually hear our conversation. If we were inside, it probably would have been too loud to hear. The only thing I didn't like was that there were cigar smokers near our group. I'm sure inhaling cigar smoke for two hours shaved a couple years off my life :-( I'd definitely come back to have an event here but I would ask to not be seated near any smokers.

I and my hubby love it.

Friendly staff, and the atmosphere is amazing especially out on the patio. For Sunday brunch, try the salmon lasagna as an alternative for non-meat eaters. You're welcome. There's live music during brunch, and the unlimited mimosas are always a favorite! Went here this time with a group of 6 and we all enjoyed the food and the vibes.

Last weekend i finally got a chance to check this place out. My homegirls surprised me for my bday and i was so delighted. We came here for brunch and the food with champagne they had was very nice. I enjoyed the relaxing music and the vibe.

First time at Pips. The service was exceptional from valet parking to the greeting upon walking in, to the drinks, the delicious food and the entertainment. This restaurant/club operates like a well oiled machine. All of the service staff were excellent at their jobs, they work together and they worked very hard all night to provide some of the best service I've ever had. The salmon lasagna was delicious. TJ was our server and bartender. Our drinks were so delicious. I had a great evening listening to Madam D and the band and I will go again, very soon. The only draw back was that there was heavy cigar smoking in the back outside and the smoke kept coming inside the restaurant and it was very unpleasant. We asked for the for to be closed and each time they closed it, it was reopen it and all that heavy smoke was awful. No one smokes hardly anymore and it was really choking us. The servers were opening it to go out and serve those outside so I did understand that but the cigar smoke was terrible. But I still had a wonderful time and met some of the nicest people that were seated near us.

    What is the Dress code?

    It is classy casual.

Are reservations needed on a Saturday night?

Definitely if you have a big party. Tried walking in for 8 people and nothing available.

What is the parking situation? Is there a lot or is it just street parking?

Valet parking is the norm..never an issue and very safe. Outside that, no street parking available or recomendable.

Would you suggest brunch on the patio on a hot day?? Are there shades or fans? Large party attending.

There is sufficient shade on the patio; trees, no fans. However, there are spots that are uncovered.

    Any Vegan options here?

    I don't believe so

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

    I would not suggest it

For Sunday brunch, is it better to sit outside or inside to really enjoy the music?

It's an Italian-inspired menu with unexpected Asian touches, and honestly... the combination was incredible. The experience is super intimate with only few seats per seating, and the menu changes from seating to seating--so you may not get the exact dishes I had! (Tasting Table) My favorite was the chef's peach salad -- so refreshing and surprisingly complex, with the sweetness of the fruit, creamy cheese, and that very Italian olive oil dressing. But my true love was the chef's Korean-style chicken wings . Those wings were basically the BTS concert of the entire meal--the kind of dish that completely stole the show! I honestly lost count of how many dishes we got. All I remember is that by the end, we were completely stuffed and satisfied. No walking out hungry like some other omakase experiences! And the best part? Only $70 per person for this all-you-can-eat chef's tasting experience. With premium ingredients and generous portions, I think this is one of the better foodie deals in LA right now. (Tasting Table) But hurry! Reservations have been selling out quickly, and this special Eating Menu is part of Vesti's limited-time pop-up. @eatvesti at Maydan Market $70/person few seats per seating Menu changes frequently

It's a garage lot for the entire little area. It's not free parking by the way. Anyway back to the restaurant, we waited for about 15 min at most which was nice considering she initially said 45 min. The waitress was super nice, the food was okay. Small portions for the prices we paid. I felt like our plates could use more flavor, they felt a bit bland. The ambiance was lowkey like a romantic casual if that makes sense. Low lighting with heaters outside and you're looking out to the small little buildings next to the stairs. Moral of the story, I don't think I'd go back here. Not because my experience was bad, primarily because I felt like the food was a bit over priced, and not really worth the price.

The people were warm and friendly and even met and struck up conversation with a fellow patron that was friends with the owners. A place I feel like the artists in 1920 Paris would hang out in, haha. My second visit: it was during an Argentina game watch during World Cup '26 (6/27 vs Jordan). Fugazzettas, choripans, and Maradona beer koozies! This felt like going to a close knit Argentinian community block party. The passion for their national team and the sense of community. I just loved the energy. I also really enjoyed my slice of fugazzetta while sipping down some Quilmes in my new Maradona beer koozie.
