    Cheese bread

I went to Padoca for the grand opening/ribbon cutting with my son. We shared a passion fruit mouse and it was pretty good. I used to get this a lot at a restaurant that no longer exists so I was happy to see it at Padoca. The owner was friendly and nice to my son. I think he liked his curly hair lol. My son had been asking if there were more coxinas coming out and the owner brought him 2. My son also had a passion fruit smoothie which he liked and I had a Brazilian cheese bread which was really good. I'm used to the small cheese breads so it was nice to have a big one. They have sandwich's that they use the cheese bread with and I would like to come back and try one of those. The decor and ambiance is really nice. I like their lighting and their lamps. We will be back. My video of their opening on TikTok got 10,000 views!

So happy to see this cute bakery open on the Peninsula! I got the guava cheese strudel, pao de queijo, and the Nutella macchiato. Both pastries would've been better if they were warmed up, in my opinion. The cheese bread was yummy and more cheesy/dense than the typical fare you would get at a Brazilian steakhouse. The Nutella macchiato was nice and creamy with a faint hint of hazelnut. The interior is decorated prettily with a hint of minimalism. I would love to revisit Padoca and try more from their selection.

This bakery was absolutely fantastic! Before visiting, I did some research on Brazilian pastries. We decided to try the Cheese and Chicken Coxinha, Chicken Pot Pie, Coconut Roll, and Carrot Cake, inspired by a friendly chat with a fellow patron who happily explained what's in each item. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The place itself has a bright, warm, and inviting atmosphere, with cheerful, sunny decor. To complement our treats, we ordered Brazilian pineapple and mint smoothies and a Brazilian cappuccino -- both were perfect! We can't wait to return for more.

I'm so happy that we finally have a Brazilian bakery here! For years, I dreamed of having a place where I could buy fresh Brazilian French bread and other traditional baked goods. Now we finally do! Their French bread is absolutely amazing fresh, crispy on the outside, and just like the bread we have in Brazil. We also tried the grilled ham and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious. I took home more French bread, a carrot cake, and a dulce de leche-filled doughnut, and everything was wonderful. The bakery itself is beautiful and truly reminds me of Brasil, with its lovely décor and Brazilian music playing in the background. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I will definitely be coming back. Wishing Padoca Bakery continued success!

Aesthetically beautiful! Love the vibe, decor, and service. Friendly staff and efficient. The Pão de queijo was delicious! Here, they are more mochi-like. Cheese in it was delicious, it's a bread that's on the saltier side so expect that if you've never had it. $6.50 for 9 deep fried Pão de queijo pieces (not greasy at all), to me it was worth it. We were informed that everything was made in house. Brazilian Cappuccino was good, it was creamier and more mocha-like. We came here around 2pm and items were running out. So come early! Will be back to try more items!!

Great service, a really cool place, and the food... oh my God, sensational! Try the *coxinha*, the *pão de queijo*, and the Brazilian cappuccino; they're the best. I haven't tried everything yet... but I can guarantee it's the best.

Beautiful, welcoming, clean and delicious food! The Brazilian music playing in the background is the perfect backdrop for a lazy Sunday sipping on some coffee & OJ and just enjoying the ambiance.

    Kimchi cheese bread

Was leaving the swim school and saw a line at this new spot. Decided to stop in and got the kimchi cheese bread. I'm Korean and know my kimchi! WOW! So so so delicious! I'll probably be coming back here after every swim session with the kiddo! I'm tempted to book more classes just to have an excuse to buy more cheese bread! PS the corn bread was good too, but the kimchi cheese bread was a show stopper.

Super cute brand new shop in downtown San Bruno! Excited to try their Brazilian goodies. Bought a variety to try out for savory and sweet. Everything was super yummy and fresh! Place is super clean and very friendly staff. They took their time to describe all the items to me so I knew what I was trying out. I loved the Pão de Queijo and the Coxina, didn't try the sweets yet since my kiddos ate them all. They absolutely loved the sweets: Rosca Húngara- spiraled dough generously filled with butter and coconut, and soaked in a sweet milk syrup Lua de Mel- sweet bread filled with custard and dusted with coconut Sonho- fluffy, sweet dough that is fried like a donut filled with dulce de leche and covered in powdered sugar Enroladinho de Queijo- sweet cheese-filled dough roll Will definitely be back to try out more items!

I'm not the biggest Lemon fan and I highly recommend this! I didn't pick this up, da wahini did, she was told this was the best seller. Gotta say...I agree! However, maybe it's because I waited a couple of days to eat it. Highly recommend transferring to a plate or trey if you're gonna wait as long as I did as some juices seeped out of the bottom corners of the box. My dad loves lemon desserts and he loved this one. He said it's like bread pudding. A very dense one. There's no weird aftertaste that many sugar free desserts or sodas have. I really couldn't tell it was sugar free! Everyone loved it. I opted for pickup instead of delivery since I was heading that way anyway. Parking is tough. I ended up parking in a red zone at the corner a few houses away and got a little worried but I was able to pick it up within 5 minutes without getting a ticket. Whew! Ordered directly from the website and got a text once the order was ready for pickup. The minute Veronica opened the door, a cloud of baked goods hit my nose and I was in heaven. I really had to refrain myself from eating it as soon as I got back to my car. I had to put it in my trunk to avoid temptation. Picked it up on a Friday and had to hide it from myself until Sunday for Father's Day! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

While the selection seemed a little limited when we were there, everything looked so good that we nearly left with one of everything. My partner doesn't get as enthusiastic as food as I do, but was really into the Mexican Scone. There appeared to be only one woman working when we visited, but she greeted us immediately and offered us large samples before we even began to look at the display case. They also have a coffee bar where you can get a good variety of drinks. I got a caramel latte and it was just the right amount of sweet. Not syrupy or cloying, but with plenty of caramel flavor. The decor is cute, and I was really endeared by the hand-painted cartoon characters on the windows. There isn't much seating, but there's more than I expected, so my partner and I had somewhere to sit while we waited for my latte. Highly recommended for the authenticity and impeccable service.

It's a very tiny spot that's easy to miss, but wow, there are plenty of colorful flowers just outside the front door. We decided to check it out and yes, there's no place to sit inside. Order at the counter for takeout. They have a bit of regular buns as well as pies and other western style buns. They sell whole fruit cakes too. 8-inch round mango cake was $39. Chinese buns prices hovering around $3 were as pricey as the ones found in the South Bay Area/San Jose. Upkeep isn't the best though/more outdated. We purchased a cocktail bun/a mushroom & cheese bun/a ham & cheese/a hot dog bun/and a coconut pineapple bun. The 5-pieces were decent in size, but were stuffed into two paper bags for us which was quite different than what we expected. Buns made the paper bags very oily. We should have asked for a small box or something. They have good selections, but taste is average and doesn't stand out. Whole cakes look tempting though. Cashier needs to smile more. Overall, it's a tiny bakery for convenience. Not bad nor great here. I would look around for better options elsewhere.

Paris Baguette is a chain bakery that offer coffees, teas and other drinks in addition to a large selection of bakery items and cakes. For bakery items, go grab a tray and tongs, then head over to the clear plexiglass cabinets and start grabbing all the delicious baked goods that your taste buds desire. I would suggest staring with walking along the cabinets to scout out the items first before grabbing a tray and tongs, otherwise you have the tendency to just keep grabbing items that look good on the first pass and then be up with too much. Their cakes look very appealing and tempting to purchase. We just ate dinner and I was too full to try one of their coffee or tea drinks. Paris Baguette is quickly expanding into many cities, so there may be one popping up near you soon. I would like to try more of their items in the future.
