Decent diner spot for a quick meal. Family and I stopped in for a random weekend lunch. Service was friendly and quick enough with a variety of items on the menu. I ended up with a burger (cannot remember which one) and french fries. the burger had good flavor and was cooked nicely. Kids had chicken tender and a cheeseburger.. overall pretty good. Only negatives I can think of are that the chicken tenders didn't look great IMO.. glad the kid got them as I wasn't a fan. It was misting outside and the concrete was slightly damp.. the flooring in the restaurant is super slippery, so be careful depending on what type of shoes you have on. They do serve beer and wine i believe. read more

I stopped in for my birthday today. I don't normally like garlic Parmesan wings, but I decided to give them a try. They were actually really amazing. Their sauce tastes like it it made in house. I was very pleased. The service was also really great. I decided to give their "Indy burger" a try. I thought it was bizarre to have peanut butter on it. I was very surprised that the peanut butter and bacon with the pickles was a really nice mix. With the awesome service and the great tasting food and beer - I would recommend and will be visiting again. read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time. The order was a turkey burger and a barbecue burger. The turkey burger was not an authentic turkey burger. It was a turkey patty that was salty. It look like something you can buy at a grocery store and heat up. They did not get my husband's order correct. Instead of the barbecue burger he ordered, it was a burger with bacon. So, he had to go back to the place to get it corrected. Resolved. The turkey patty was not dressed with condiments requested. The fries had a good taste to them. Overall the experience was not pleasurable, because I got sick and had the runs. That being said, we will never return. read more

Just like others, we were very leery of this place. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall greasy place to eat. But that's far from the truth! The burgers were cooked perfect and very juicy. The wings were crispy and the sauce was a perfect amount of spicy (however they weren't very "jumbo"). The place is a little pricey, we had a coupon for a free appetizer and still ended up spending $30 for two people. They also charged us .75 cents for the ranch that should've came with the wings. Also, for a Monday night, they were filling up their tables quick and only had one server (Yamoniah) tending to the tables which made the service a little slow. Great location and great food! We went here on a Thursday evening. We were a little skeptical bc the place was empty. This is a sit down or take out establishment. We were seated and given menus. Within 5 minutes, this place was packed! Luckily we got our order in quickly to beat the crowd! So they have a pretty nice size menu. And you can sub out your protein for beef, fried chicken breast, or grilled chicken breast. I ordered the Hawaiian burger and subbed out the beef patty for a grilled chicken breast. AMAZING!! The chicken breast was so juicy and full of flavor. I also selected loaded tots as my side. Everything was really good. Waitress was really sweet. Sadly I've only been here three times to eat with my husband but every time it's been a wonderful experience. Food is a good price and they have some of the best hamburgers! I personally don't like greasy or hearty hamburgers and these are awesome! However my husband order an aioli sandwich once that was drenched, as expected, and delicious! This is the classic American Burger place. Lots of burger choices and good classic sides are offered. They have other items including other sandwiches and salads but the burgers are the star! Quality meat and fresh veggies make even a basic burger a treat! I have not tried their shakes yet, but they lk amazing! read more

This place is a hidden gem!! The service is incredible, the food top notch!! They also have gluten free buns and lettuce wrapped burgers as an option! The garlic parm fries are insane, the Indy burger is so good and the choriburger is to die for!! Highly recommend for people who are gluten free and want to have a goood burger!! read more

Being a gray cure that is behind a gas station, you may just drive by this place. After looking for a kid friendly place for my friend and I to take our children, we landed in this place. There is a hostess who sits you and takes your order. Our food came out fast and everything was quick. I have sat in a fast food drive thru longer. All of the food was good, especially the tater tots. I would have like a sauce or seasoning for the sweet potato fries, but they were still good. read more

This diner is located off of Stop 11 and Emerson near the Culver's ice cream shop. They have a great selection of traditional American food like burgers, wraps, and sandwiches along with fries. I ordered the bruschetta burger with waffle fries. The food was severed hot and fast. We had a super sweet and responsive waitress. Every time I've visited I've tried a different burger that's great quality and taste. read more

This place is to die for. Don't judge a book by its cover!!!!!! The staff is super friendly and they get you in and out quick. I work nearby and this is my sit down lunch go to. I always go in anticipating running out of time but I always leave with time to spare. They have a variety of beer and Pepsi products to drink. I love the Indy burger it's like an Elvis Presley (peanut butter and bacon) with jalapeños. It's SO GOOD. Bacon lovers beware, you're going to love the bacon. Stopped by after seeing the great reviews here on yelp. The loaded tots definitely stole the show. Super crispy tots topped with crispy bacon, a delicious cheese sauce, tomatoes, sour cream and fresh jalapeño. Most loaded tots get soggy, but these held their crisp so well. I enjoyed a Choriburger (chorizo and beef) and onion rings as my meal which was hard to finish after the shared tots. The burger had great flavor. The staff was super friendly and attentive give. Definitely recommend and look forward to trying more burger combinations - they all sounded great. read more

Great place to stop on way back from Louisville. We had the queso and chips to start. Chips were fresh and queso was super good. They gave an extra dip that was sweet and savory. Really good. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was grilled to perfection and the toasted bun was delicious. I had the bbq burger. Love the patty the bacon and the fried onion strings. BBQ sauce was sweet. Could have used a little more but was still a great burger. My daughter had the sliders. 4 mini burgers grilled to perfection. My wife also got the sweet potato fries and said they were amazing. I had the regular fries. Big portion but I still ate them all they were so good. My daughter also had the Oreo shake. Service was ok - definitely not outstanding ... but the burgers were DEFINITELY some of the best we've had. Fries were crispy & well flavored. Broccoli side option was a good alternative to reduce carbs in the meal. It looks a bit run down from the outside - just not what expected ... but inside was clean, bathrooms were clean. 100% worth eating here. read more

I don't have a picture for my review because I usually just eat immediately because they are so ridiculously good. If you want a REALLY delicious burger please go here. I usually just order a classic bacon cheese burger with a side of garlic parm fries. When I tell you their fries are perfect, I mean it. They put just enough garlic parm sauce on their fries so the fries (steak fries) remain crispy. They also offer a few different draft beers and bottle. Please go here. read more

Indy's Burger Joint is a newer restaurant on the corner of Emerson and McFarland in the Ritter's parking lot. We order from here a couple times a month for the delicious Burgers and the club wrap. Hubby gets the bacon cheeseburger and it is always on point, hot, fresh, and juicy. He gets the waffle fries as his side and they are delish! Perfectly seasoned and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I get the club wrap and onion rings. The club could use a little bit more bacon for my taste but is still delicious and big! The turkey that they use for the club is like they made a whole Thanksgiving turkey and then just chunk off the juicy warm bits and pop them in the wrap. The onion rings are really good too. They're crispy and battered. The only reason I gave them a 4 star was because I wish the menu had more options for food. With that being said, I will still order 2-3 times a months from them. read more

We went here for carry out on Sunday afternoon around 11. All staff was friendly, and had on masks. They do offer dine in seating. We placed a pretty big to go order and it was done in about 15 minutes. My food was so good. The sauce on the fries was so good, I would purchase it by the bottle! The burger was seasoned well, and the combination of "breakfast and lunch" was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Two servers, fast service. Place was 90% full and busy all night, so I suspected good food, but it wasn't. My pretzels were burned. My burger was supposed to be well done and no mayo; it was pink with mayo and no flavor. Wife ordered well done too with same pink result and she didn't finish it. They did refund me for my burger. Fries were good and my daughter enjoyed the vanilla shake. Disappointed and still left with a $51 bill including tip. read more

The food was delicious! Highly recommend the Nashville hot sandwich. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were great also. The only downside is how cold it was in there. We arrived at opening, so that may have hindered the temperature, but definitely bring a jacket. Other than that, everything was great! Service was exceptional too. read more

This was our first time visiting this establishment. It is a small sit-down burger joint with freshly made "gourmet" burgers. I ordered the Hawaiian burger (cooked medium) and waffle fries and my wife had a bacon cheeseburger ( cooked medium well) and tater tots, The burgers were cooked to perfection and the tater tots were outstanding as were the waffle fries. Our waitress was pleasant and added to the enjoyable experience. I'd recommend this place if you enjoy a good burger! read more

I'm sure they were bagged frozen, but the quality is beyond terrible. They don't offer any sauces unless you ask for them. The ice cream was average and it was overpriced too. It's really some of the worst food I've had in awhile and my digestive system wasn't thanking me afterward. What a waste of time and money. It was truly a regretful experience across the board.
