Had them perform a maintenance to make sure everything else was running smooth and to also check our heater issue, so we will be good for the winter. Repairs cost less than the portable AC I was considering buying and done in a timely manner. So nice to be home in a cool house! Adrian came and replaced my furnace 5 years ago. He did an excellent job, explained everything, and…read moredidn't cut corners. 3 weeks ago, the furnace stopped working. Another HVAC service provider came and quoted me $1500 for parts and $500 for labor. I called Adrian for a 2nd opinion. He came and properly diagnosed the issue by calling the manufacturer (Rheem) and verifying the issue was the fan blower motor, which according to Rheem's website only costs $500. Adrian got me the part for free because it was under warranty. I only had to pay the labor cost of $250. Adrian even disassembled and reassembled the furnace to replace the fan motor because there was a concrete pipe in front of the furnace. I've had 2 HVAC service providers rip me off big time. From now on, I'm only dealing with HVAC Living / Adrian for all of my HVAC needs. If you want quality service without being ripped off, I recommend you do the same.

Not once did they explain that the rooftop unit also needs a filter -- or that I had options depending on the system's static pressure and setup. That's basic info any professional should offer. What's worse, when I had a second opinion done by a trusted HVAC tech, he found a large tear in the ductwork -- something that likely had been there for years. This company had been called out before to check that very issue, and they failed to catch it. Why? Because they never performed a proper static pressure test or thorough inspection. They just show up, do the bare minimum, and leave -- but still charge full price every time. And in commercial service, they know most people won't question it. This kind of neglect doesn't just waste money -- it shortens your system's lifespan and increases your long-term repair costs. Be careful. Ask the hard questions.
