I was in a car accident involving a 4 car collision. The guy responsible ran a red light. We all have car insurance to have a peace of mind and not have to stress when accidents happen. Infinity (Kemper) Insurance is the worst car insurance I've had in 35 years. After being in an accident that wasn't my fault it was very stressful having to argue with Infinity (Kenper)Insurance trying to get them to cover the damages to my truck. After arguing with them for about a year and being without a car we finally got Infinity insurance to cover half of the cost of the accident but I couldn't believe that I was paying for this insurance that wouldn't cover 100% of the cost of an accident that wasn't my fault. I had been with Infinity insurance for over 10 years and they recently just let my insurance expire without warning. They claim they sent me multiple notices in the mail letting me know i had to sign some paper but that is a complete lie. I even recently added a new car to my policy and noone mentioned that my insurance would be cut off soon if that was not signed. I received NO phone calls, no emails alerting me. I just had to switch insurance companies and was driving for 2 months without insurance and had no idea. My adjuster Souneh Ziraky has stopped returning my calls. I have also called her manager Maira Cruz and she also has not returned my calls. The worst insurance ever! I have been a member for nearly 10 years and never had issues except recently with an accident. The "adjuster" by Autumn Smith would take over a week to return calls! She "recommended" I get an appraisal on my older but running vehicle after I refused a couple of times. So I went ahead with it and she gave me the address of the collision shop once. It wasn't correct. So I called her again to confirm the address. She didn't answer me and the collision shop never called me to confirm. I went with a different collision group who were helpful but honestly wanted too much money. She then returns my call another week later and was belittling, rude and condescending. She was claiming it my fault and why did I choose an out of network collision shop and why leave my vehicle if it was running. Well autumn I would of gone to where you sent me had you given me the correct address and returned my phone call. She was also trying to scare me/blame me into thinking that all of it was my fault and that infinty does not have responsibility. Apparent she transferred my case to someone else and never told me. Thankfully the new adjuster called me. Told me what was going on. Also infinity NEVER sent someone to appraise my car. So my vehicle just sat there and they asked the collision group to send them the pictures. I could of kept my vehicle instead of being in a rental for a week. Then they go on to say that it's my fault and they can't help me with a rental due to the collision group already giving me a rental. Umm really?! I had to return it when you guys deemed the vehicle a total loss. And I have to now get my rental out of pocket and infinty said to "send them the bill". So unprofessional and rude! These people need to be out of business for their lousy customer service and overall service in general. Were all going through a hard time and pay our hard earned money please treat us accordingly. Also when the collision group called them to confirm my rental coverage the "customer service" representative from infinity was rude and obnoxious. Myself or the receptionist could not hear him and when I told him he said "well I didn't say anything". Talk about rude!! The rates for Infinity are extremely high. I started at one rate and one year later and my monthly rates rose over $100. I have not had an accident or tickets for many years. I left, went to Progressive, and my deductible is $500 (down from $1000), added coverage, and bundled Renter's Insurance. My rates for both insurance still lower than Infinity price. They have to do better. They lost me and I will be vocal with how my rates were extremely high. read more

I was a customer for 12 years until today! here's what happened. entered a very narrow alley, car on opposite end entered as well, alley too narrow for both cars to pass at same time, so I pull over a bit to allow car to pass me. they pass and as I was backing up to straighten out and go on my way I didn't notice the car didn't exit, they actually parked. being that I was in an angled position I didn't see from my blind spot they were there so I tapped the car as i was backing out. keep in mind, no one was hurt and no dent in either car, just a small patch of paint on both cars; we exchanged insurance info and that's that, until 9 months later after I renewed my insurance the next months bill payment nearly doubled!! what the hell? so I call them and they tell me it cost $3000 to repair the car I tapped. unbelievable, this was my first accident that was my fault. I believe they scammed me, the adjuster and the owner of the car I tapped. there is no way that estimate is correct. they gave me the run around transferring me back and forth from the claims dept to customer service, saying there was nothing they could do. how does my payment go from $98 to $160 per month from a minor fender bender? so I canceled and they had the nerve to charge me $20 and I just renewed last month!! needles to say the customer service is below poor. buyer beware. read more

I am a notable public figure, national leader and published author. I am very disappointed. We HAD full coverage on three vehicles. We were victimized in a violent home invasion robbery and all of our car keys were taken during the robbery. Infinity took almost a week to call us back then after being disappointed about the amount of time it took to even get a call back and then with being told that this particular situation was very unique (FYI, its not) and would require infinity to escalate it to a "manager," (whom I was denied access to). Three weeks later we still had heard nothing, and when I spoke to claim adjuster Brad Ellis he was not only very insensitive to this very traumatic event, he was argumentative, refused to allow me to speak, and overall extremely rude, ever refusing to transfer me to any authority higher than himself. Additionally following this exchange while on hold my call was repeatedly picked up and immediately disconnected my phone call multiple times. It's hard to believe that after multiple years of loyalty to infinity, I was treated like this over a claim that would have added up to only a few hundred dollars. read more

They would not answer the phone they made me pay for the rental car and finally sent me part of the money but I am out about $1,000 plus they would not pay all of my medical bills. I had to stop physical therapy because they would not pay for it. Having to deal with infinity caused me to have high blood pressure, and now I take medication because of the lack of professionalism and the lack of help. They should NOT BE IN BUSINESS. This company is a literal scam. I signed on for a year contact and was told that I paid the total amount upfront, something I was happy about seeing as I didn't want to worry about missed payments. This was all back in October. Earlier this week, I got a letter from the DMV saying my insurance had been cancelled and my registration was about to be suspended. Turns out, they horribly misrepresented what I was paying for charged me more and then never notified me that I needed to pay more. I never received any calls, emails, or even letters letting me know they were charging me more or that they were going to CANCEL MY INSURANCE. When I called they refused to reinstate my old insurance, give me any kind of refund, or contact the DMV to let them know I should have insurance right now. Never going back. I want to begin by saying that this company and the people that work here are honestly the worst and are only out to scam people. If you don't believe this review look at the countless other reviews saying something similar! When I first got this insurance everything was ok, yeah I payed a bit more, but the difference was not that insane so I figured it would be ok. Around halfway through the year I moved cities and changed the location of where my vehicle was and there was no issue. Around the one year mark I had to renew my policy and this is where the issues began happening: 1. They were not responsive when I would ask when my new insurance card would arrive. Whenever I called they would always give me different information. Eventually the day my policy expired came and they withdrew the money from my account but I did not have an insurance card. I had to call the morning of before going to work and then they sent me a temporary through email. 2. This is where the second issue came up...in that same call they told me that I had to show proof that I was living in the new address I had in my vehicle's profile. I am a recent grad and thanks to COVID I have not found a proper job so I am renting out a room where I don't really have much associated with my name because I have all my important mail sent to parents house and I split my utilities with my roommates but don't have anything under my name. I tried explaining to them but they would not have it. I had my parents call, because they are also under the insurance, and they weren't having it from them either. Eventually they shortened the days I had for me to show proof of residence from 60 days to less than 2 weeks. 3. At this point I began doing some talking to other insurance agents and thats when I found out that I was overpaying for almost nothing in coverage. I luckily never had to use it but if I ever did I would have been screwed by how little it was. Of course I knew what I was signing up when I first started but with this new knowledge and their disrespect towards myself and my parents I have decided never to do business with them again. I am beyond furious because they were disrespectful towards me and my parents. The lack of professionalism really shows in this company. They are rude and I won't be giving them my money anymore. I truly mean "giving them my money" because that what it feels like because I know now that if I were to ever be in an accident they would have done nothing to help me. I decided to drive for Lyft to supplement my income and infinity doesn't offer commercial insurance which is what's required. I switched my insurance companies to Geico and canceled my insurance within Finity in fact I had an overlap of five days. Infinity still felt the need to send me to collections for a month that I didn't pay when I canceled my insurance. They state they canceled it and they didn't I did. Infinity/ kemper insurance has an extremely rude and lousy insurance agent named Paul Michale we started our claim the day of the accident on 8/2 at it is now 8/11 and an adjuster still hasn't been out to look at the vehicle. I finally got a hold of Paul michale who stated they are waiting for the police report, after saying we already gave him all that information, he cuts me off From speaking and says "it just popped up on my screen right now"? Which anyone with better judgment could tell he went searching for it in his email and it has been there, when I called him out on it he started getting loud and eventually hung up on me. So if you have a policy with this company just know you will have to do most of the work and you can't expect voicemails to be returned you have to call the company and say your starting a new claim and then ask for who ever you need to speak with. They are very unprofessional and not convenient at all. I can't say all the people at the company are bad representatives but stay away from Paul Michale or if you don't mind on waiting and not gettin your calls returned then he is you guy. I really wish I could speak with him in person, I don't think he would speak to me the same way he does over the phone.
