So, the doctors advised me to seek assistance from the fantastic team at Fullerton Physical Therapy & Sports Care, Inc (FPT&SCI) to aid in my recovery and help me get back on my feet. I really don't want to be stumbling around town like a zombie from The Walking Dead! You know, I'm usually a skeptic, so I didn't have high expectations when I went in. I thought they would simply give me a standard sheet of paper with some stretches to do at home and send me on my way. But boy, was I wrong! They actually took a genuine interest in my injury and, believe it or not, in me as a person! It's rare to find that level of care these days, don't you think? I guess I shouldn't have judged my past medical visits so quickly. I had some real problems with being able to turn my head in either direction because of all the stiffness. They laid out a plan of exercises that concentrated on getting my neck more limber and able to turn without the pain I had had. Everyone there was so very helpful and you felt like they really cared about how you progressed. If I ever have to have PT again hopefully Kaiser will refer me there again.

Every movement and exercise was treated with great care and precision, and his knowledge really shows -- he was excellent at tailoring home exercises for my mom and her exact needs. She was initially doubtful she'd ever return to her normal activities, but within just a couple of months she was moving comfortably again and even traveling with no issues. I think I've seen all the therapists there at least once but most of my work is with Dave and Lauren. First PT that I've been to that does cupping and scraping, I LOVE IT! Facility is clean and they make efforts to keep it that way. The office is so sleek and modern--I couldn't stop gazing at the beautiful interior. Whoever designed it deserves multiple gold stars! (lol) Although the initial price for the intake appointment is a little higher than at other offices, Dr. Gan was very thorough in explaining the type of care I could expect. Despite also working in the medical field, I still get a case of white-coat nerves around new doctors. Dr. Gan--and most importantly, Ruby (the office mascot )--were great at easing and calming those nerves. My body has been through a lot over the years, and I have to say that the few appointments I've had have done wonders for my daily aches and pains. Here, you can tell they don't provide subpar treatment just to ensure repeat visits; they genuinely want their patients to get better and return to full capacity.
