We had our air conditioning break down right on an extremely hot day. We have an infant, and keeping her cool was top priority. Wouldn't hire these guys to screw in a light bulb. Hired them to install batteries on my existing solar system. Show up late, leave for hours. No shows. They needed to install a smoke/heat detector in my house. I have dark hardwood floors and grey blown in insulation which is very dusty. Cut a 2" x 4" hole in the ceiling and dropped it on the floor. The insulation went on the floor as well as the pieces of wire he cut off. Then asks me if I have something to clean it up with. When they finally finished they left 2 pallets of trash in my garage for 8 days so I couldn't park my car in there. Failed inspection because of mistakes a first year apprentice wouldn't make. Went to the addresses on their website and found an empty office building and someones house. They came back 3 weeks later to take photos of their work. One and a half hours late for that meeting. Opens up all the panels, take pics, then relables panel doors because they're wrong. So, are the lables wrong now or before? If I could have given no stars I would have. read more

I had a solar system installed in 2016. I have been happy with the system for years. Now I have a couple of issues; (1) One of the micro-inverters may have failed, as the system still functions, but the reporting through the AP system no longer functions. Premier Solar informed me that the inverter is no longer manufactured, but may be in the future. Since then, I have been a ghosted by them. The short story is that the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. The inverter manufacturer refused to help, saying I need to go through the provider. I would even offer to pay them if they would return my calls/emails. (2) When I had a bullet go through one of the solar system panels, I found out the panels were no longer available. The provider had stayed in business in Washington till the incentives ran out, then they left the state. In essence, the 25-year output warranty is junk as well. Newer panels are larger and do not fit the space, and the amperage output is over the inverter's limits. I found a used panel and installed it. I understand bullets are not warranted. However, it highlighted the solar providers worthless 25-year output warranties. I added on to my system but used a different company. I have no illusions about the warranty application of any solar installation. Maybe good for the first year or so, after that, good luck. read more

After 3 years of owning the solar panels. I am disappointed that I used this company. The installation caused my roof to leak on my barn and they claimed it was already leaking. Eventually they saw what they caused and fixed it. The bigger issue is my inverters keep going down on the most important time to harvest power every year since I had it. They keep coming back to fix it and make up an excuse why they have to replace it. I spent apox. 60k and I regret trusting this company. read more

This is an update on our solar panels, which haven't been functioning since mid-September 2024. They show a ground fault, but it's not in the inverter, and we haven't used them since then. Trying to get help hasn't been easy, and it's extremely costly. read more

Everyone at this company is kind and professional. To be honest, we had a lot of bumps along the way that delayed the system setup by a few months, none that were the fault of Premiere- supply chain issues with the battery and then some sort of problem with the system software. Their tech Tim was awesome and worked to get everything running correctly. He took a lot of time to explain to us how everything works, and I know if we had any issues they'd be right back over. The system they put in is producing wonderfully, we're really happy with the size they recommended and it's so gratifying to look at the output graphs! With an insecure power grid, solar has never been a better investment and I would HIGHLY recommend going with Premiere. They genuinely care about doing things right and you're not going to find that with one of the big national companies. read more

I appreciated the pleasant and professional attitude of the workers and office staff while my PV system was installed. Information on the system parts and layout was shared very well and questions were answered knowledgeably and cordially. The availability of the panels I liked caused a delay and I was given a choice of another brand of panel. I heard no grumbling when I chose to wait for what I wanted. I was kept abreast of when the panels would arrive. The installation was workman-like and went smoothly with no trash left behind. Bret, the owner, kindly came to my home to get payment. I enjoyed his visit. The phone app didn't have all the features required to properly monitor the system. Bret worked into the evening to get things squared away for me. This was above and beyond. Premier works with you, as a partner, from the early sales process to after the install is completed and ongoing to ensure a system and installation that meets your needs. Dan was incredibly quick (less than 1 hour) to answer sales inquiries about their solar installation and gave informed recommendations on battery backup vs. generator backup questions. Even during such a busy time as the final two quarters of 2019, Premier was at my house doing the installation in a few weeks after signing up. Their installation team were professional, clean, and efficient. They gave choices on the equipment to be installed, and had higher quality panels then I had seen elsewhere. Communication was constant and extremely prompt from everyone I was in contact with. Cliff then worked tirelessly with me post-install to coordinate with the electric company (PGE) to install the Net Meter, and shouldered the cost of the install until PGE met their side of the deal. Just signed up with Premier Solar Northwest. We have contracted for a 26 panel (8.32kW) system with 320w Panasonic N320K panels and Enphase IQ7X micro inverters. We worked with Dan Tracy. The system Dan offered exceeded the quality, price, and performance of competing systems. Dan is very knowledgeable and he overcame our fears of roof penetrations. Dan's proposal was provided promptly and he made time to work around our schedules. Dan even helped us with a one time fixed price transferable option to dismount and remount the array and racking in case our array outlast our new roof or we otherwise want it removed. I met with 10 different solar companies. Premier Solar Northwest exceeded all others. I negotiated with and got on site estimates from Elemental Energy, A&R Solar, DPI Solar, GreenLight Solar, Blue Raven, Auric Energy, Tesla, Sunbridge Solar, and Blue Sky Solar before signing with Premier Solar Northwest. I am certain we found the best solar company for our solar installation. If you want to support a union shop go with DPI solar and pay more for less. If you want to fund solar installations in developing countries go with Elemental Energy and pay more for less. If you want the best quality, performance, cost, and professional installation go with Premier Solar Northwest. I would never suggest talking to Blue Raven or Tesla it isn't worth your time or anyone's time. read more

HIRE THEM. I've worked with hundreds of contractors across the country and Premier Solar NW is one of the best. They are professional, friendly, communicative, helpful, fast, hard-working, and competitively priced. At each step of the way they exceeded my expectations. You should hire them. A more detailed review below, but, seriously, you should hire them. We asked for solar quotes in August 2017 as everyone was rushing to get their solar jobs done before some of the incentives expired at the end of the year. It was a hectic time for a lot of solar installers, so, unsurprisingly, of the 6 or 7 we contacted, we only got three quotes. Premier Solar NW was the most careful in their estimation, taking more time onsite to get the required information, but also walking us through what we could expect in the installation, the benefits of solar we didn't even know about, gave several options and explained the good and bad of each, and set the reasonable expectation that it would take some time to turn around quote (it was a busy time for all installers and they were about to spend a week manning a booth at the fair). They provided a quote before we expected them too, and delivered it in person with a full PowerPoint presentation that laid out the benefits of each of the three systems we asked them to quote on, explained all the incentives in greater detail, talked about long-term planning for battery storage, and explained payment options. Their initial price was in the middle of the pack, but because of some options we tweaked, we were able to get it down to about the same as the lowest bid we received for similar product. Dan worked with us on getting that pricing even though he was in the middle of another job (we were talking with Dan's sales rep). They set the expectation that they wouldn't be able to install for another 3-4 weeks, but then when they came to do a preliminary site inspection, they said they could do the work in a few days. LIKE CHAMPIONS, they did the work through the smoke coming off the Gorge fire as much as they could take, and got the work done in a few days. There were some complications with the city inspector that they smoothed over. They handled all the permitting, paperwork, and eliminating weird roadblocks we encountered. When the city inspector messed up, Premier Solar NW hired and electrician on their own dime to correct the issue. When our wiring had an issue, Dan and his team came out right away, responding to my wife's texts immediately, and diagnosed the problem. Dan was just as communicative and responsive to our questions all along the way. Contractors can be bad at a lot of things. Premier Solar NW is exceptional at everything. They communicate clearly and through your preferred channel. They set reasonable expectations and deliver more and earlier if they can. They price fairly and competitively. They explain what they are doing and why. They lay out why they have superior product and methodology. They follow up quickly and effectively. They smooth out problems for you. They work hard. They're friendly yet professional. They fix things when things go wrong. They take complete responsibility for the job. Again, YOU NEED TO HIRE THEM. read more

After reading the reviews, I gave you 2 stars because I wanted to make my own decision. After discussing how you do business, & working with me on the contract wording, I gave you another 2 stars. Then I wanted to see if you would get the 5th star ( all 5 stars ) after the installation. 1) They worked with me on my price to where I understood what I was being charged and why. 2) I liked your crew. Ryan and Devon were very knowledgeable and professional. They put up my 18 panels in less than a day and the installation looked great. 3) Ryan & Devon throughout the day answered questions or gave me instructions on how the system worked. 4) I'm all set up to get the permit in a day or 2 then after the state inspection and everything checks out fine, I will be up and running. Good job Premier Solar boys. You do get all 5 stars. Hopefully my neighbors will read these reviews and get their solar installed by them too! I have honestly never had a better experience with a home installer or remodeler or anything. Quick, forthright, responsive to all of my questions and concerns. They were proactive at every step. We had 40 panels installed in two days. The county inspection was done the following day and the PUD had the net meter installed two days later. We had solar working in FIVE DAYS!!! The system that they install allows us to monitor our panels and to know how much electricity they're generating. And the products they use enrolled us in an 8-year WA program to put money back in our pockets. I could not be more pleased. read more
