The Good: Friendly service. We said it was our first time there and the waitress was very sweet and went over the specials as well as some of the suggested menu items. It's a very clean and well decorated place. The not so good: we shared 2 entrees. The asian chicken salad and chicken curry. The asian chicken salad was drowned in dressing. If you order it I would suggest dressing on the side. This salad also lacked a balance of flavors. If it were to have some mandarins on it, it would be much better. The curry could be much better if the rice was served on the side. The amount of curry sauce saturated the rice and it was too much. We did ask for another rice which they brought but they also charged us (4.50) without telling us beforehand that there would be a charge for more. Have been coming here for years now, and we have never once been disappointed. Service is always above and beyond even when we are walking in 15 min to close. Ate here again yesterday. I had the chicken florentine and gf had the pistachio pasta with shrimp. Pistachio pasta was still great (9/10). I thought the chicken florentine was well made (7/10), Their garlic bread wedge they provide with these are really good (9/10). Their carne asada I had before is still better than the chicken Florentine I had. I'd prob get that next time. Ambiance is beautiful. Well designed and great for a date night and has a lovely space for a larger groups. Service is friendly and nice. Food was beautiful but lackluster. I had the shrimp scampi as photographed. There was three shrimp in the dish and the sauce was unfortunately pasta water from what I could tell. My husband had the carne asada the meat was flavorful and tender, the beans where cold with a crust, the tortillas were obviously wrapped earlier in the day and past their prime. I was a little suspect by looking at the menu.....how can a restaurant be good that has three different types of cuisine on their menu? I kept an open mind, but coming from Seattle where we have James Beard award winning restaurants, I was ready to be disappointed. We came early and we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the specials......scallops with risotto, and halibut with roasted veggies. Well, I have to say that the meal was delicious, and the service was great! My mom had a little piece of fish that she wanted to take with, but it was accidently tossed out and they cooked up another piece of halibut for her to take with us! Well I was kind of hesitant to try at first. I mean how can you be good at all the ethnic foods? No guts, no glory though, right?. From some of the photos I was concerned the portions might be a little small too. In the end, we left satisfied and full, not an easy task. We had the chicken quesadilla for appetizer. I had the yellow chicken curry and the wife had shrimp scampi linguine. The quesadilla was very good and the guacamole was one of the best I have had. I loved the chicken curry. The spice level was just right, not too overpowering. Lots of chicken and good fresh vegetables. The wife enjoyed her meal with the only complaint being the red pepper on top. She said the shrimp was cooked good and the flavor of the pasta was good. With a water and soda, bill was $49. Not a bad deal for quality food. read more

I have not been treated with such a wholesome dining experience in years. First off they're busy. Not a huge space and therefore they may be full when you come. We were lucky enough to have someone from a large family guest us their spare table while they held their youngest letting us take their small spare table. The most important part was how sorry the (owner?) felt when telling us it might be 30 minutes for a table. She actually looked upset that we would have to wait. My girlfriend and I being from Seattle are used to waiting. Seeing someone actually distraught for having us wait just felt so humbling and happy. Then out of nowhere this family had us take the table. We were so happy after eating with how the service and the food came out. I ate Italian and my GF ate Thai and while the curry wasn't what she was used to the food made the wait worth the while. We drove home talking about how floored we were with the service despite the wait, location, etc. We're just happy that family was willing to let us share. Nothing to complain about. Small family owned restaurant with fantastic food. We were in Bellingham visiting when my in-laws said they have to take us here. I ordered the Chile rellanos, my husband ordered the chicken mole, my MIL ordered the carne asada and my FIL tried the pistachio pesto (He had the curry on a previous visit). All meals were outstanding!! When my baby woke up and was fussing, the woman working brought over a packet of crackers. Some of the most delicious food I have ever had. Definitely a great spot and so convienent!

My spouse and I went for dinner tonight after receiving a gift card for Christmas. We heard good things and were looking forward to it. We had heard it is small and family run so we got their early around 430pm to beat any crowd. We sat ourselves and eventually a young gal came over and simply put menus on the table and walked away. No greeting, hello, "would you like something to drink?" Nothing. When she came back we ordered dinner. Kung Pao and Chicken Fajitas. The Kung Pao was excellent however the fajitas...the rice wasn't even warm, there was absolutely no seasoning, not even salt on the fajitas, no flavor whatsoever. The chicken was tender however it was incredibly bland. No one ever came back to see how things were and there was only a few people eating besides us. Eventually we went to the counter to ask about the fajita dish, cold rice, bland chicken and were asked if we would like something else? No sorry, or impression that they actually cared. I ordered what I knew was good, Kung Pao. It came when my husbands was done and was hot, and delicious. Again though, absolutely poor, poor service. No one ever came back to check on us after dropping of the dish, no water refill, how ya doing, etc. We eventually got our bill and it took at least 30 minutes before we finally gave up and went to the counter again and asked to pay our bill. At that time it had gotten much busier and I asked the young gal if it was only the 2 of them for the amount of customers eating and she rudely replied "Yah". I got the distinct impression that our patronage was not appreciated and I did not appreciate the lack of any decency or customer service.
