Don't waste your time or money on this place. I ordered the pistachio penne dish. Expecting at least a few pistachios on top. Got the shrimp to go with it and it was tough and not good at all. My husband got the chicken teriyaki and said it was just alright. But not worth the price. The first thing I noticed is that the atmosphere was very snobby and waitress didn't smile once. Oh and don't get a salad because the lettuce was brown around the edges and terrible! I threw my salad and shrimp away. I'm going to wait to eat the rest of my penne pasta later. Because I want to make sure I don't get food poisoning first. They might of been good years ago. And the 5 star reviews is why I decided to try them. But again don't waste your money. This was my first visit to Infusion Cuisine, it came very highly recommended by more than one friend. I came with a friend who is known by the proprietors, some serious mutual admiration going on there! This is an unusual place, mid-county, in a quiet strip mall, but it's aspirations are hardly ordinary. We came for lunch on a weekday, the restaurant was not busy, only 2 other tables were occupied. We were treated promptly and given water and menus. The menu is diverse with varied dishes influenced by Mexican, Asian, and Italian foods. For lunch, diners are presented the full menu, most of which is for dinner items which I found to be too expensive for lunch, though the quality was very good. I missed the page of lunch items, perhaps it was the back page? I ordered Panang Curry, my companion ordered Baja Fish Tacos. The Panang Curry which was sweeter than I expected, but the chicken and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The whole dish was very tasty, I love curry combined with rice. The fish tacos were less formally presented but very tasty. I need to return to Infusion Cuisine so I can try other items on the menu, if this meal was any indication, this could the first of many excellent meals in the future. read more

We have been several times and have absolutely loved each and every dish we've tried. Ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is stellar. Eduardo, the chef, apparently has trained with the best for several years, and you can tell he absolutely loves to cook. From the Carne Asada to the Orange Chicken (my husband's favorite) to the lunchtime Cheeseburger (dripping with cheese and flavor), we can't get enough!! The spanish rice is like mama used to make, Eduardo's wife's Tortilla soup is chock full of veggies, chicken and avocadoes, and you can get just about any condiment on the side, served on its own little plate. Another reviewer said Infusion Cuisine is like a 5 star restaurant without the high prices, and I would have to agree wholeheartedly. We also love the atmosphere; the staff is friendly and very accommodating, and the little details, from the beautiful flowers on the counters, to the little jars full of water and seashells on the table are divinely appointed without a hint of being overbearing. After a poor experience elsewhere, husband and I stopped by to see what was good here. It's relatively new on the Hannegan, where Cassoulet used to be. I had eaten a quick lunch (burger and fries) here before and had liked it, and it was close. Decor is simple, elegant, but homey. Don't be fooled by the home-made, widely varied menu. Usually when a restaurant advertises three different regional cuisines, I get leery, but this place delivers beyond its promise. We ordered Teriyaki chicken and the Pistachio Pesto penne, both of which came plated beautifully, all components were fresh, cooked just right, and sauces obviously made from scratch. Good timing by the waitress (Jessie, married to Eduardo, the chef.) as well. Charming couple. How have I not heard of this place before?? A wonderful little gem of a place in little old Lynden, without driving all the way into Lynden proper. I had the chicken mole and literally almost licked my plate clean. Other entrees ordered at the table were chicken piccata and creamy pesto penne. All the food was amazing, delicious, fresh, and about half the price you would expect to pay. Small, quiet and off the beaten path, this is not to be missed. Dan and I had dinner at Infusion Cuisine last night, and had one of the most satisfying gastronomic experiences in a good long-time. It is always reassuring to re-visit a restaurant and find that the chef and service team are still delivering perfection to their guests. We started with a satisfying pinot grigio and shared an appetizer, Rolled Chicken Tacos that is served with sour cream and a zesty Southwestern salad. Dan ordered from the Italian selection. Chicken Piccata, a beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection tender chicken breast, served with seasonal vegetables, linguini aglio oil, artichokes, wine sauce and dark green slightly crunchy capers. This dish is what Chicken Piccata is meant to be. Better than my grandmother's, God bless her. From the Asian menu I ordered the Curry with chicken. Thai style Panang curry in coconut milk, spicy to tease your tongue, tame enough so it is pleasant. An abundant amount of chicken, white onion, green beans (two different types!), Thai basil, roasted tomato, roasted eggplant and steamed rice. My mouth waters and appetite grows reflecting on those memorable dishes. If you live in Lynden Washington and haven't eaten at Infusion Cuisine, you're missing out. We have been meaning to try this little neighborhood eatery for some time and finally did today. We ordered from their lunch and kids menu's. From the kids ch menu a cheeseburger and fries as well as a grilled Reuben and fries. Both meals were delicious! Great portion sizes, extremely fresh and honestly some of the best French fries I've ever had. The Reuben was cheesy, gooey and oh so good. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu. I was very surprised at the generous portion for the price! We all left bee full and can't wait to back and try their dinner menu. Great food, great presentation! We've been here three times. The last time they were incredibly busy and we didn't have a reservation. They accommodated us anyway, and although it took a bit longer to get our food, they were very apologetic and the food was still perfect. Don't be put off by the small informal space. The food and service will not disappoint. We will definitely go again, and would highly recommend it! Members of our party had different dishes and all were good. What a delicious meal! It is clear that this family owned and run restaurant is fueled by an excellent cook with a passion for food. My friends both had large portions of pasta (chicken florentine & pistachio pesto) that I had to try and then wanted more of. My husband and I visited Infusion Cuisine on my birthday for a small, intimate dinner and this place did not disappoint! We were the only ones in the small cozy restaurant, but by the time we left, they had 5 or 6 other tables. The waitress was either new, nervous, or very shy (or a combo of all three). She stuck with simple phrases during our dinner, but forgot to introduce herself. No worries, she'll get the hang of it. Also, the manager or owner (lady with brown hair) was walking the floor to make sure everyone had water. They didn't have a wine list, but the waitress was nice enough to let us know the name of what Cabernet they had for the evening. I'm not sure if they just order a couple of cases and change it up or what, but the Cabernet we had was decent. We began with the chicken quesadillas that came with 4 good size slices and very good guacamole and sour cream on the side. Then, we overheard what seemed like regulars ask if they had the steak or salmon tonight.. So I asked our waitress if she could tell me about it. They had a 13 oz. ribeye with a red wine sauce served with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. They delivered a pretty good steak, a little overcooked (we ordered medium and it was more medium well), one of the best sauces I've tasted in a while, and great vegetables. For some reason the potatoes tasted like the instant potatoes you grab on a quick night to serve the kids on the side of the chicken nuggets.. Not my favourite. My boyfriend and I made the 20 minute drive from Bellingham to Infusion Cuisine last night, and it was well worth it!! I got the pistachio penne pasta with chicken and he got the orange chicken after starting out with the spring roll appetizer. All of it was so delicious! You could tell the ingredients were fresh and care went into making the food. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly as well, the kind of service that you want to keep coming back for. And we will! The drive to Lynden is nothing when you have such delicious food waiting at the end of it! Thank you Infusion for having such a cool, varied menu with amazing food! We have been to Infusion two more times, one time I went with just my four kids alone as the hubs was out of town. It isn't what one would immediately think of when they think 'family restaurant', but my kids LOVE it. And I have never been given the evil eye for walking in with kids (you know how some restaurants are). The food is ridiculously high quality, served quickly and politely. Where else anywhere near Bellingham can you go where there is such a variety of cuisine made to perfection under one roof? The only problem with updating my review is now I am craving it! read more

I can honestly say I had the best filet mignon of my life at Infusion. Most places I order medium-rare in hopes of medium; but when my steak showed up at the table I could tell by the sear that it was different. I made my first cut and saw a perfectly seared steak. Light gray exterior, pink immediately and a dark red wine center. Some people may not enjoy their meat this way, but to know that the chef has the knowledge and guts to cook a steak the way it was ordered speakers volume to this restaurant. I will also mention that my waiter asked at least twice if the cut was cooked to my liking, just in case I really meant medium. (as I said, someone may not like a red steak). My wife had the chicken curry. A simple dish at first glance;but as someone who avoids anything curry, my taste may have changed my perception about curry and my wife had find her new "asain night out". In summary; if this place was in downtown Seattle/San Francisco/New York it would be impossible to get reservations, filled with socialites and politicians, and ultimately cost more than the average man can spoil his wife with, but it's not. It's my local hole-in-the-wall, Tuesday night, family-run, little secret. If you've driven by and taken a second look, don't drive by again. Stop for lunch, order take out, or go with a group of friends, you won't regret it. We live in Lynden so for good food we usually have to drive to Bellingham, but not anymore! Infusions food is some of the best I've ever had! All of it is fresh, with the perfect combination of flavors and presented so professionally. It's surprising from the location but it truly is a hidden gem. Every single dish I've gotten there has been amazing, but my personal favorite is the Kung Pao Chicken & Chicken Piccata. It's a family owned business, so you feel good supporting a local business. The service is always great and the food always comes out a timely manner. We are at infusion at least once a week! We had a blast at this eclectic little restaurant. The decor and the menu are kind of random in a very charming way. The food was really very good. My boyfriend had the fajitas, and while they weren't what you would get at a Mexican restaurant, he still really liked them. I got the Thai curry and it was amazing! Exactly what I expected! Honestly nothing about this place was good except for MAYBE the ambiance considering the location of this restaurant. The waitress was unimpressive with a very flat personality. She didn't smile once, nor very welcoming to say the least. The menu is basic- we ordered the spring rolls which were ok and had a nice chili sauce for dipping. My main course was the chili relleno which was not good at all. The cheese was not melted, it was a big slab of cheese that was hard and the refried beans came with 4 little tortilla chips propped up in the cup. The tortillas they served were cracked which made eating them as a taco not desirable. I had high hopes as they have good reviews but honestly, not sure what other people are thinking?
