Hubby enjoyed the fresh flavors and said he would definitely order it again. I ordered the chicken shish wrap and it was smaller in size but filling. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. Overall, a nice experience. The interior is cozy and comfortable. The staff will come and clean the tables as time allows. The plate comes with two eggs cooked your way or as an omelet, a whole wheat flatbread , two meat or potato patties and Chai. It was super hot today and the inside could have been cooler temperature wise, but all was forgotten as soon as the plate of food and tea appeared before me(which was quick btw). Paratha (flatbread) was great texture wise and the omelet was also fluffy and flavorful. The potato patties were incredibly crunchy on the outside and perfectly spiced and soft on the inside. The chai was so good it should have its own review. All in all what a great first meal to a whole day of fasting. Restaurent was clean and the restroom and its floors were just wiped down when I went to use it. Shaukat who took my order was super nice and friendly, and the other guy who brought my food over was also efficient and polite.

Note they do use halal meat. We usually get the smash burger with gluten free buns (+$2.99) and extra pickles. It hits every time. The meat is always perfectly cooked and the sauce is addicting. They have different types of burgers if you like something more spicy or with bbq sauce. There is a lot of seating inside. There can be a long wait during peak hours (lunch time), we sometimes order ahead online so it's ready by the time we get there. We'll keep coming back!

Shalimar serves authentic Pakistani and Indian food. The atmosphere here is casual and unassuming. It's an open eatery with community tables and chairs on both sides of the tables. There are also booths and benches for those who need some privacy. This canteen-style eatery focuses on food. You order and pay at the counter. They get your name, and your order is served fresh and piping hot. Everyone ordered something different: Tandoori Chicken, Fresh Baked Naan, Goat Biryani, Fish, Okra, Goat Karahi, Biryani Rice, and several other dishes. The dishes were placed in the middle of the long table and we all got to taste everyone's food. Every dish was flavourful and the seasoning on each dish was on-point. Their naan is baked daily - and you can taste the freshness of the bread. The vibe was strong because it's been an absolute age since we last met up. All nine of us picked up where we left off.
