    gyro and chili cheese fries
    Scott G.

I used to work in Pleasanton in the 1990's and used to eat burgers here. Got the gyro for the first time and it was great. Chili cheese fries were just OK. Would definitely eat here again.

Amazing customer service and the establishment is pretty big! What I love the most is their chilli is all beef, with no beans. Prices are absolutely affordable, $10 for a cheeseburger and the patty tastes moist. The food is fresh and right off the grill. Chilli has no beans which I love! The beef is fresh and all natural. I took a few bites and was full shortly after. Will definitely visit again.

Enough for 2 or 3 people.

A solid casual dining experience. Our usuals are burgers and zucchini fries. Instead of a beef burger well done, it was a turkey burger this time which was over a juicy half inch thick. The zucc fries came crispy and enough for a couple hungry people. You're greeted warmly as you enter and receive super efficient service at the counter. The large black board shows specials and a rather impressive variety of shake flavors served diner style in a tall glass and the extra in the metal mixing cup, as enjoyed by a young child in a table nearby. Oh, the indulgences of youth! A few months ago I had the grilled chicken salad special with some fresh strawberries & blueberries on mixed green lettuce. I remember the grilled chicken being moist and large in portion. There's a bar at the other end of this spacious establishment and tall tables. Plenty of elbow room. If you enter into the first driveway, you might get lucky with a pull-through parking spot.

At the rate I'm going, I'm going to turn into a burger. If I did, I would be in good company. When I rolled up to Athens at dinnertime, the parking lot was almost full. Considering the other businesses they share the little stop mall with, I knew it was for them. They attract a really divers crowd. Bikers, parents and kids, couples, seniors, and a group of men who looked suspicioualy like vets. I had to wait in line about 10 minutes. Not bad. Give you time to check out the menu. Had to wait for my food about 10 minutes. Also not bad. The reward was well worth the wait. Thick burger, fresh fixings, and char. Think burger king char about 1000 times better. The nest was well done, but not dry. Just enough toppings to keep things interesting, but not make it too messy. Lots of other offerings if burgars aren't your thing To include over 1/2 dozen different milkshake options. Everything I saw looked delicious. My mango one was creamy and cold in the front and all mango on the back. I went away full and satisfied. Something to note, the space is bigger thank you would think. My only complaint is it's really lowd. The staff moves at brisk pace, but seemed nice enough. I don't know why it took me so long to try them, but I will be back. Recommended.

I'm not too big of a burger guy, but my coworkers highly recommended Athens burger to try out. First of all, this place is surprisingly big! I think they took over a neighboring business and knocked down the wall. So really big and easy to find a table. I got the Athens burger combo with curly fries. The curly fries were solid, it's like Jack-In-The-Boxes but with fresher oil? It just tasted cleaner even though it was equally greasy hah. The Athens burger was good. The patty was really chard, but the insides were still juicy. The veggies tasted fresh. It's a really solid burger, not the best that I've ever had. But it's a really solid burger spot choice in Dublin. If I were to compare it to anything, I'd say it's like a step up from Super Duper Burger.

This place is a Dublin CLASSIC! It has been here forever and the food is what you'd expect at your local hometown diner. The service is great and the workers are extremely kind. I came here with my family on a rainy saturday afternoon and it was decently busy! I got the cheeseburger with everything on it & shared a basket of fries and onion rings with my family. The burger is nothing special but it gets the job done. The basket is perfect sharing size for 3-4 people. This is one of my family's favorites, so I definitely will be back

I grew up going to Athen's. It is a core childhood memory and how my parents convinced me to go to church. Highlights- Counter service. Huge portions. Delicious food. Fast service. Tons of indoor and a few outdoor seating options. The zucchini fries with housemade ranch is a menu standout. We often have family parties and order multiple orders to enjoy. Everything is delicious- you can't go wrong with the burgers, BLT, chicken sandwiches, fries, etc. I hope this family owned business continues for generations to come! Thank you, Athens!

Tuna Melt with combo basket of mushroom and zucchini
    Aletta A.

It's a 3.5 for me. Was craving a tuna melt so did a quick search on DoorDash delivery. I ordered from this place also because the variety of sides. The food and ingredients all seemed like good quality and fresh. The tuna melt was a tinge too salty and could've used some pepper and maybe even diced celery. I couldn't tell if they forgot the cheese or used a really really thin slice of cheese because it seemed to be missing with no melty cheese stringy pulls at all when I split the sandwich. I ordered the combo basket of mushrooms and zucchini. it was a good quantity of both, but lacked flavor, including salt. with that said, I'd rather have something fried be bland, than salty, since you can just add s&p but can't ever take saltiness away. they would really benefit from throwing their sides in a big silver bowl and tossing with s&p after frying. I did this just after popping them in the air fryer real quick so that tossing in seasoning would stick. Everything was packaged well and came with a couple sides of ranch.

Found this spot searching on Yelp while waiting to race at the K1 down the road, checked out the menu and decided to give it a try. What drew me here was the no-frills diner look, and affordable prices. When you arrive, you'll grab a menu and order from the counter. From there it's self seating. For me, I've been on a tuna melt kick, so I went with that, plus an order of the Buffalo tater tots. The tuna melt was really solid and a great deal at $9.50 for just the sandwich. The tots were good but the sauces and toppings needed to be distributed better and the sauce a little thicker. Still good though. We also ordered a basket a mixed basket of fries with regular and sweet potato. Those don't come salted and it definitely needed some. Overall, it checked the boxes of no frills, straightforward diner food at an affordable cost. It's one of those spots that it'll satisfy the craving without breaking the bank.

Decent burger, but nothing to write home about. If I wanted to order a HALF order of fries, it would've been over $20. The burger alone was $15ish. I get that I'm in California. The service was great, & the burger arrived hot & fresh.

Chicken pesto sandwich & onion rings
    Zack D.

The best! I've been coming to Athens for over 10 years and it has consistently been great! Whenever you walk in the door you feel like family. Tonight I ordered a full basket of onion rings, pesto chicken sandwich and a beer. The chicken pesto was grilled chicken with pesto sauce, cheese, sun dried tomatoes (I got no tomato) all on a Parmesan crusted bread and was amazing. The chicken was juicy and the pesto was very fresh tasting. The onion rings were fried to perfection! Not once did I bite any onion ring and get the dreaded whole piece of onion coming out. My beer was ice cold and very refreshing. If you want a great meal you can always count on, come to Athens!

First off it was essentially vanilla frosty with some pineapple syrup, which strangely tasted slightly more like mango to me. But I still liked the flavor overall. One thing I wish they had done better though was I wish the "pineapple" syrup had been mixed better with the vanilla frosty. When we had ours it felt like we were simply eating regular vanilla frosty with no pineapple flavor, until we got to the bottom of our cup and the pineapple flavor became all too much and overwhelming. And we did try to mix the syrup into the frosty ourselves, but the syrup was very thick and just wouldn't mix properly. I'm glad I tried it but I'll stick with the chocolate frosty next time. Service was quick, but the frosty we got was kinda messy and came in a sticky cup unfortunately. The restaurant looked nice and clean. No complaint there.
