The food is so good! We ordered a ton of stuff because we had never been before and wanted to try it all. We will definitely be back! They also have a drive thru which is great while we deal with covid 19. The woman working the window was super sweet and helpful and didn't rush us at all. I am amazed at how much I liked this place, and I say that because honestly I'm not a huge fan of rotisserie chicken but on this day I was craving some good chicken and this place had good reviews and I see why! First off I went through the drive thru and as I was looking at the menu the server asked me if I had ever been there and I told her no so she suggested I drive up to the window so she could explain the menu and when I got up there she had a little sample of some sides for me to taste! The chicken was very tender. The friendly staff offered samples of all sides and ALL of them were excellent. I chose the rice and beans with my 1/4 chicken. The fried plantain was sweet and the yuca fries were addictive that my friend had. I am usually looking for spice in my food so I would say it lacked in that sense. However, that is not the restaurants fault. Their food was excellent just didn't quiet satisfy my spicy palate. I'd eat there again when I'm back in Austin. read more

This place is great for your not so typical fast food chicken and I'm glad I found it! It's a family owned, authentic, Peruvian restaurant and the chicken is soo good with their special white sauce and salsa! You can also ask to sample anything if you don't know what to get! The staff is pretty friendly! For a family of 4-5 I recommend the whole Inkan chicken meal that comes with a whole chicken and 2 large sides for about $20! I love their fried plantains (if you are feeling for something sweet) and their yuca fries are also yummy if you are feeling for something savory! Their mac n' cheese is average and I wouldn't recommend getting it unless you are really craving some. The chicken is pretty tender and juicy and not dry like some other rotisserie chickens! You can see it being roasted in their giant fireplace behind the counter! I recommend getting the rice and beans as your sides and eating it with the chicken! Mix the white cream sauce and the salsa and pour it over your chicken and rice for a chipotle burrito bowl style meal! In town for work and looked on yelp for something between my office and hotel for dinner. Yelp delivered on this one. I was quickly greeted and when the man behind the counter realized I had never been in he offered up samples to try. Chicken breast was moist and amazing and paired perfect with the sauces (although was certainly stand alone as well.) Plantains were delicious along with the rice and black beans. I had been wondering about Inka Chicken for a while as it is near my uncles house, and today we stopped in and finally tried it. The charcoal rotisserie was filling the place with a lovely smell and the doors were open on both sides of the restaurant providing a nice draft on a nice day. Ordered a 1/4 chicken (breast and wing) and it was very delicious and tender. The smoky flavor enhances the nicely spiced chicken. Got the yucca and platanos for my sides, both great choices for the first timer. The yucca has a unique flavor and is sort of like a gamey potato, in a good way. The plantains were very yummy and would get again. The yucca was good, but by the last one I was kinda tired of it. Maybe they should just come two to a plate automatically instead of a whole bunch? I'd definitely eat them again, just not as many. Looking forward to getting more chicken and trying the beans next time. read more

We're local neighborhood customers and have eaten here quite a bit. With young children, we've only ever done drive thru, so I can't speak to what the dine in experience is. The food here is amazing! Chicken is always juicy and well seasoned. All the sides I've ever tried are very good. I'll switch it up every now and then and try something new... never dissapointed. I hoard their spicy salsa for use in other dishes I eat throughout the week. It's that good. Since I do drive thru only, every now and then something is missing/wrong. The person at the window doesn't check the bag to see if it's correct, so this is an issue I see at a lot of drive thru's. Most of the times it's tortillas/bread and I've had the wrong piece of chicken on a couple of occasions. Once I parked to check my food, noticed my fries were missing, but then at that moment I could see the chef walking them out to my car. I guess they noticed I was stopping to check my bag! I had the #1 Inka chicken combo for $8.30 before taxes, which consisted of a quarter white meat chicken (breast and wing), steak fries, a roll, and two dipping sauces. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the fries were, and the roll was unremarkable (just a plain roll). The chicken was really good and is the main attraction here. It is cooked rotisserie style over charcoal, which provides the delicious flavor. All of these reviews aren't lying. This place is GOOD! As the name suggests, their chicken is really good. However, that alone wouldn't do it for me. Their rice and beans are also AMAZING. Probably one of the best rice/beans around (you can also ask for them to mix the two if you wanna get more sides). My favorite place for some fried plantain and chicken. I totally love their chicken, the seasoning is great. It is a little bit crispy on the outside but very moist on the inside. Even my bf who doesn't like chicken breast mentioned their breast is just so tender. Their menu comes with three types of sauces (mild,medium and spicy). For us, none of the sauces are spicy, everything just tasted mild. But it was great to mix them up and eat it with the chicken. Have i mentioned yet, i love love their fried plantain. I wanted to eat here a few tomes before writing a review. My very first time here was nice. Since I had t eaten here before the lady at the counter allowed me to sample some of the sides. I chose dark meat for my chicken, yucca fries and beans and rice. She gave me a sample of all the sauces to try but my favorite is the mild. The meat was ok the first time. It was normal size chicken not church's chicken size & A little burnt for my taste. I thought they may have ACCIDENTALLY overcooked it the first time so I figured the next time would be different. The rice and beans have been tasty every time I've eaten them. No complaints there. The yucca fries would be my favorite but after the first time they've always been dry and old tasting not very fresh. They are delicious when they're fresh!! The mild sauce is a great choice for dipping. Now back to the chicken-- it NEVER got better!! It got WORSE!! When the word CHICKEN is in your name, you shouldn't mess up the CHICKEN!! It progressively got worse and last time I went there my ENTIRE piece of chicken was burnt!! I've actually pulled up in their parking lot to try it one more time but I just left because I couldn't take the disappointment! If I do return it'll be only for the rice and beans... I wouldn't recommend it for the chicken unless you like it burned. The atmosphere is nice. The customer service is good too. But service doesn't fill your belly... smh. I hope they fix it! By far, this is the BEST Peruvian restaurant in all of Round Rock, Austin, and the surrounding area.
