The food is amazing. I would totally love to go back and try other menu items. I had the lomo saltado, which I thought it tasted great. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions. I highly suggest the aguas they have. I'm sorry I forgot the name, but it's so good. In Fridays, they tell me there's Karaoke. It's very clean inside and chill atmosphere. Nice to take a date or family. And the food came out pretty quick also.

Very welcoming and kind staff. I ordered the saltado de pollo and everything was soooo yummy. It tastes better as it soaks up all the juice. Under 20 for the plate and I had enough for leftovers. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes!!

We ate at TONDERO two days in a row, and every bite was incredible! The food is truly excellent -- full of authentic flavors, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was just as amazing -- Brenda and Lupita took such great care of us, making us feel welcome and at home every moment. We came all the way from the Bay Area, but we're leaving absolutely in love with this place. Highly, highly recommend it -- 100,000% worth it!

We were craving Peruvian & didn't want to drive so far. Did a little search & found this cute little place. Sopita as an appetizer hit the spot since we were freezing! Lomo saltado & Chaufa de pollo .... Delish! Guadalupe was sweet & attentive. Perfect way to end our Friday night

Cleanliness, Service , atmosphere were great . I was there for the all you can eat buffet. It was a good way to try a lot of their food. Their aguadito was better than I expected. The papa a la huancaína was a lil thin, Ají de gallina Was not as creamy as it should be, carapulcra was ok, seco de carne con frijol was very tasty and a hint of spice, asado con puré had lots of flavor.. overall I gave it a 7 out of 10 and I would definitely go back again especially for the price. ALL you can eat special is on the weekend only from 11 AM to 3 PM - If you go, tell him nurse Jojo recommended you .

First time here and can honestly say, the food is amazing. The lomo saltado has to be the best I've had. Service was fantastic! Guadalupe was attentive and welcoming.

Decided to try a new Peruvian place and saw that this places opened up a few months ago, if not a year ago and finally decided to try it. We got immediately sat and although there was only one server and one cook the service was amazing. The food was good, portion was a bit smaller than other local places, but still filling and taste was great.

The plátanos fritos were so good. I've never had them with the leche condensada, it was so good!

Friendly staff. Super yummy food! Really hard to decide, as they have lots of food items that look so good. I can't wait to go back, to try other dishes. Parking was easy too.

I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and they brought us here for dinner on Sunday! They have their own parking lot but there's very limited spaces if it does get busy. Walking in, we were instantly greeted and asked how many were in our party. We were instantly seated but there were quite a few occupied big tables around us. I couldn't catch our waitress's name but she was so attentive and nice to us! She would come ask if we needed refills, napkins, extra utensils, or extra bread and butter. After you order, you get complimentary bread and butter! They also have this green spicy sauce that you can dip your bread in. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 1 soup, 1 appetizer, and 4 main dishes! Everything came out so fast and was so tasty! You can even see the chefs preparing the food through the transparent glass. Food: Lomo Saltado (9/10): I absolutely loved this dish! The only thing I will say is that it was on a little salty for me but that's not something a little water couldn't help with. The beef was cooked so nicely, it was tender and the portioned nicely so it could be chewed with each bite. The grilled onions were for sure my favorite part. The onions soaked in all the sauce but were still crunchy which adds a nice texture to the soggy french fries. The french fries also soaked in all the sauce! There's also a side of rice to help make you more full! Tallarines Salteo de Carne (9/10): This dish was identical to the lomo saltado but instead of french fries, it was noodles! I equally loved this dish since they used the same sauce but with noodles instead! I had no complaints except it was on the saltier side but didn't mind it at all. Everything's the same as my lomo saltado review, perfectly cooked meat and onions! Jalea de Mariscos (9/10): This was our appetizer! It comes with a few fried items (fish fillet, shrimp, and squid). I think there are also Yukon potatoes but I could be mistaking it for another form of potato. The squids are fried in bite sized and they're so easy to eat! It also comes with an onion salsa that's so delicious! The salsa is sour so definitely be careful when dunking your food in there. I believe that this one comes in a half or full size!

The menu had so many different options that I had a hard time deciding between the soups, traditional meat dishes, and pasta selections. I ended up ordering a pasta dish that surprisingly had an Asian-inspired flavor profile. It reminded me a bit of Kung Pao chicken with linguini, thanks to the red and green bell peppers, onions, and a nice kick of spice. It was delicious, especially with the house-made green salsa they served on the side. I also ordered a side of rice and beans, and although I passed on the plantains since I was dining solo, the server kindly brought me a sample, which was such a thoughtful touch. This is a cozy, mom-and-pop, hole-in-the-wall spot with a mix of two- and four-top tables. Parking was easy, and I found a space right in front. I stopped by just before closing, and there were still a few people enjoying dinner. Expect to spend around $30 per person. Overall, I enjoyed the food and friendly service, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

It was a hole in the wall and had relatively good reviews for lomo saltado so I had my hopes up thinking the food would be amazing. My chief complaint is that it took almost 30 minutes for my single order to come out because the kitchen was busy prioritizing to-go/delivery orders. Had I known this, I wouldn't have eaten inside the restaurant; I would've actually gotten it delivered. My next complaint is that no receipt was given as customer copy, and no itemized receipt when asking for tip. The total for this dish came out to almost $30 including tip, and the waitress/cashier didn't mention the lunch special at all. I brought it up to ask about it after I paid, to which she replied, "Oh, you probably don't want that cuz it's smaller. But it comes with a drink and soup." The fact that she assumed I wouldn't want the lunch special (when I'm there at lunch time) that would've been a much better deal at $17.99 and perfect portion size for me, and yet charged me for the regular dinner price was a bit presumptuous. It's also weird that they would ask for a tip (which I gave anyway) before I even received my meal. It's less about the price but the principle! But I was just hungry and needed to go to my next appointment, so I didn't argue, but again, the food took way too long to come out so I had to ask her about it after the 25 minute mark. Food came out after 30 minutes, and I had to get up and ask for the aji verde sauce when most restaurants usually serve it to you with the meal. The aji verde sauce which is really important to me to complement this dish, unfortunately missed the mark as well. I really missed Sol Inka's aji verde sauce that's well-rounded in every way. Lomo saltado should be balanced between the meat, tomatoes, onions, and fries, but it was definitely heavy on the fries with only two pieces of tomatoes. I would've preferred more meat too if it's the regular plate, but it felt like a fries dump. I wouldn't have had complaints if this were the lunch special order. Anyways, if you don't mind the headache & having to be extra proactive to get what you want, this is the place to be, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. $30 for a sub-par lomo saltado where well over half of it is fries does not sit well with me, considering I waited 30 minutes for my meal. Unfortunately, I'd just have to stick to Sol Inka for my regular Peruvian food fix, as the flavor is more robust there anyways. Oh, and Sol Inka also gives complimentary warm bread and butter, while there isn't anything like that here.

I would describe this place as that saying "Jack of all trades, master of none". I came with a group and we all ordered a variety of dishes, yet nothing stuck out. For a small space they have 1 waitress who needs better skills, she may be new. I say this because even as she brought out dishes she brought things out in pieces (got my shrimp cocktail, then had to ask for crackers, then had to ask for lemon, then had to ask for salt and pepper). Some points for the food: Talllarin - chicken was dry, pasta good Bandeja paisa - 7/10 arepa dry, no beef or beans Shrimp cocktail - very little shrimp, little to no juice, like a salsa mix in the cocktail Gyoza - good can't mess that up Lomo - eh fries came warm not hot, doesn't look like a traditional sauce The good things about this place: Good little green salsa and they served a good chicha de mora. Would I come back? No. You can definitely find better quality food and cheaper prices at a regular 1 cuisine restaurant. I would like to add presentation was nice on the food but nothing tasted quite right...

So we deal with it and order and eat from there any way... Today, was a different story, we came in got greeted by the cook as we walked in, sat down, 10 mins later the waiter finally acknowledged us siting, after passing by us multiple times. We place our order, Thankfully the food came out, and was good (thanks Mr cook). 1 one of us at the table asked for the salsa, they normally give you with the food, He doesn't seemed to please and come back with 1 small salsa for 2 adults with large plates, non the less we didn't say anything we ate our food, and did not anything, at this whole time we finished out meal and our amazing waiter had yet to come see if we perhaps needed water or something, 10 mins later we stand up and go pay at the counter, with him because he was now cooking. . After terrible service from him we close the check, and he tells my brother "you don't know how to say thank you?" My brother hadn't really heard him so he softly said thank you and waived goodbye, he starts walking to the door and says "hey! " you don't know how to say thank you or what? For the second time... Again my brother just smiles and waives it off, no avoid any issues. We get in our car, and we see him walk outside, clearly hot and bothered, So now I get out the car to see what the deal is.... After watching my demeanor change... he changes his and with his attitude says ohh there's no problem here.... And we end it there... horrible horrible horrible service from that man.... IF YOU ARE HAVING A BAD day!! IF YOU HAVE the wrong attitude than your in the wrong business, don't be in the customer service area!! Most definitely not return... Food is great....
