Pan Fried Halibut; Spinach Empanadas. YUM!
    Shannon M.

Heard about this great Peruvian restaurant from a friend. Decided to have lunch and try it out. We weren't disappointed at all. Service was great. Menus and water as soon as we came in. Moderately busy. Ordered their fabulous Sangria to have with our lunch. I ordered their Pan Fried Halibut and my friend ordered the Spinach Empanadas. Other than having way too many beans, my fish was cooked perfectly and I had a small side salad that was perfect. We will definitely recommend Inka Grill and come back again. Our server Vianey was the best. Very attentive. Appreciated her very much. Prices were very reasonable.

The food was great, got the chicken paella before and the lomo saltado this time. The service was quick and helpful. Ambiance was warm welcoming and inviting, very homey. I would recommend trying this place out for a great savory bite, the aji verde sauce brightens the dish beautifully. The only thing with the lomo saltado is the sauce it comes In can make the fries a little soggy, however, the flavor was on point and meat was cooked perfectly.

Excellent rotisserie spot! Juicy and tender chicken with a deliciously crispy skin. Salad was good and had lots of ingredients. Came with their green sauce. The interior is cute and well decorated. I would take friends here!

My mom son and I came here for lunch and we all loved it. My mom said it's the best soup she's had at a Peruvian restaurant over here. The server was nice and kept checking on us. They had diet inka kola which is always a plus for my mom and I. I can't wait to come back.

I love Peruvian cuisine and this is one of the places that my bf takes me to pretty often. Their food is a staple. Usually not too busy at lunch time however, it does gets packed on Friday/ Saturday night. Must try: Lomo Saltado (Served alongside fluffy white ricex , sautéed onions, french fried and Beef), Seafood ceviche ( citrus tastes with squid , corn and fish)- such a refreshing appetizer here. Milanesa de Pollo (breaded chicken cutlet), sooo food. perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. It's not greasy at all, which makes it feel much lighter and healthier compared to typical fried dishes. Overall: if you are in the area, please visit this place and try some delicious Peruvian dishes.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat tonight, so after driving around aimlessly, I pulled into the plaza intending to go to another restaurant when I remembered Inka Grill was here. I am so glad I came tonight. Stephanie was attentive and the ceviche was great! Thank you!

Excellent cerviche with perfect balance of lime sour & taste. Great courteous service and pretty busy ambiance even when we arrive late after lunch hour

Celebrating 35 years! First time here and we absolutely loved it! From the exceptional customer service to the speed of our food to our table, to the homey atmosphere and delicious food... we had a wonderfully blessed time! We'll definitely be back again and again!

I love this place! Everything I've had here has been delicious. Had the tamal: it was flavorful masa, filled with moist chicken, egg and olive. Moist and light. The Picante fish stew was a treat! Loved the fruity, yellow Peruvian chili flavor. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. Restaurant is cozy and has outside seating as well.

We enjoyed our meal here it was delicious. We ordered the empanadas to start, the cheese, chicken and spinach, and it was accompanied by a bright, citrusy sauce that complimented the stuffing of each empanadas so well. We also ordered lomo saltado and a seafood/marisco saltado. The meat in the lomo saltado was a hearty serving along with the rice and fries. The jugo/juice in the saltado was delicious! Not soggy, just the right amount of juicy. The seafood saltado was delicious, the variety of seafood was excellent! We absolutely enjoyed the green sauce which had a great spice to it, we enjoy spicy!!! And the service was attentive and kind, thank you Alberto! We had to make sure we took some sauce for our leftovers! 10/10 would highly recommend. We're Latine soooo this really hit the spot!! Thank you! Alberto

1/4 Chicken Meal (white meat) with 2 sides: salad and beans

Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The complimentary bread was an unexpected starter; trying to avoid eating bread, I couldn't resist after feeling how soft it was. We started with their appetizer of 4 empanadas; I enjoyed my choice of spinach. For my first visit here, I decided to try 1/4 order of their signature Rotisserie Chicken (you're given the option for white or dark meat) with 2 sides (I chose salad and beans). Presentation was attractive; generous serving. The chicken was OK - quite dry (but appreciatively cooked completely). I love their spicy green sauce! Service was appreciatively unrushed allowing us to relax and enjoy our lunch. This was a first for me to see 2 price options on the menu (cash vs. card); paying by cash offered a small savings. Overall, a nice experience.

This is a chunk of salt in the rice. WTF...maybe employee do like their job.

Even though it was 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were able to be sat right away. As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server immediately got us waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink (wife and I both got some delicious beers that they had on tap). We had our little one in tow with us and they were so accommodating to him! As soon as we were ready, our server took our order. We got: Chowder "frots" (fries and tots mixed in with some New England clam chowder, bacon, onions, cheese, and other goodies) 10/10, would definitely order again. My wife got the lobster roll with a side of clam chowder. Loaded with lobster, but you do pay the price. Labeled as market price, this was almost $40. Delicious, but not worth it in our opinion. 6.5/10. Pan roast (house specialty which came with shredded crab, shrimp, clams, and muscles). This, topped with rice, was heavenly. Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. They had two TV's behind the bar / prep area that was showing NBA and PGA which I'll never complain about. All around 10/10 experience.

Mac and cheese was a pretty big portion for a kid, really cheesy and rich. Overall pretty good meal and surprisingly pretty affordable considering the cost of seafood. Service was attentive. We sat outside in their outdoor patio where they had a couple of TV's -one with the basketball playoffs going on ( my favorite)! I will say - the ambiance is pretty cool - there are a lot of different liquors along the walls. ITEMS I TRIED - Taco Sampler: my husband got al pastor, steak, and carnitas. I got chicken and al pastor. I personally liked chicken the best because the other meats were a bit too salty for me. The meat however was just okay, didn't really taste too authentic personally. PARKING: pretty easy as it is in a plaza SERVICE: it was somewhat slow, and they charged us more despite it being taco Tuesday, it was about $10 more on the receipt. However, they did promptly take care of it once we asked about it. PRICE: for 3 tacos, you got it for $11 with the corrected price which was a decent deal. Overall, I think it was solid but I won't be craving this spot or suggesting it to others!

However, given the prices and what they're serving, I would much rather pay a few dollars more and eat at an actual restaurant rather than experience here, or, for a similar place, I would choose CA Fish grill. All in all, my husband and I paid $70 for a sub par experience. He got the blackened snapper, which was quite decent, but I got the grilled snapper, and shook the salt shaker more times than I usually do. They came with 2 sides. The ceviche was the strangest ceviche I've ever eaten. It had a metallic taste with very large chunks of fish. It didn't taste anything remotely close to what ceviche is. Fresh, bright, and flavourful. All we could taste was the sour from the lemon/lime. Our friends got the poke bowl, which was reported to be good, and judging by the look - appeared quite fresh. This is surprise considering how many places in OC seem to be of excellent quality - it's quite the competition here. The food might be okay for some, but for a regular counter order place that was just a hair under casual - no thanks. The place is small and tight, bathrooms are located outside (not affecting my view of the place but it others are interested), you have a between $25-30 fish plate served on melamine plates and cheap flatware - I just can't justify the cost. This is regular casual restaurant pricing at this point. But the biggest thing is that the taste is just so so, limp, flavourless sides that needed sauce or salt, not to mention I see them using bottled sauces like terriyaki. The service was okay, uninspiring, but again, it's a counter order place.
