I got extensions put in last week by crystal chase and I'm sooooo happy!!!! I was scared to go to a new stylist but after hearing such great reports of her work I bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did!!! Crystal met with me before ordering my extensions and listened to what I wanted, we picked a color that would blend in with my hair and she walked me thru the process explaining how we would achieve the best results! The salon is beautiful and my new stylist Crystal is phenomenal!! Nicolette is Edward with the scissors boi! It's impossible to find a barber that will even own a pair of scissors nowadays so I go out the way to get an appointment when she becomes available. Lets just say I have a huge brain with an awkward shape to it and she has all the angles figured out lol. I really trust her with my hair. I had an important job interview coming up so I booked my appointment in advance, slid into the chair, then slid into my interview. My friend Jordan and I had the best afternoon here! Mia kicks butt and spends SO much time on your nails - I have never seen anything like it. She is so warm and friendly too that it made for such an enjoyable hour+. And to think her specialty is cutting hair next door! Mia is super talented and awesome. Then, we got massages from Jennie and facials from Rae. Both were equally amazing. Jennie gave us me one of the best massages ever. Rae gave me a great facial and would talk to me and give me recommendations along the way. It was such a great afternoon, as all three ladies are so sweet and we felt so comfortable spending time there. And last but not least, the place is super clean and the products they use are top notch. Definitely go there! And get the shellac nail polish -- it is awesome and not even that expensive (and the same price as other local gel manicures - and the shellac is MUCH better quality than gel!) read more

My mom bought me this deal package for Christmas from one of those bargain places, Groupon I think. The management definitely treated me like I was getting a deal. I purchased 3 packages thru Living Social for massages, facials and mani pedis for myself and my two daughters. one of my daughters is getting married and i purchased these for a spa day for us. I booked 3 weeks before the appointments since my daughter who is getting married lives on the East Coast, I knew she would be here to do wedding stuff and her wedding shower was planned for that week. I first booked the appointment on Tue before the shower that was being held Saturday. Innovations called back and asked me to change it to that Friday since one of the masseuses didn't work on Tuesday I agreed to Friday. I called the Thursday before our appointment to confirm and was told they only had me down for a facial. After much disagreement. The owner called me back and said her pop up on the computer said I was suppose to call back with my daughters names to confirm their appointments. I asked why I would call back with their names I know their names, that doesn't even make sense. She responded yes I knew their names but they didn't. What? She didn't seem to get it.When I asked her if she thought I was making this up? She said in a loud sarcastic voice I'm sure for the benefit of other girls in the salon I WOULD NEVER CALL YOU A LIAR. Give me a break! She said they would try to work something out for us she called back later that afternoon around 5:30 and said we could get facials and our nails but no massages. I told her that didn't work for us I wanted the whole package. I couldn't use the 3 massages, and my daughters would be gone. She said alot of people want to separate the services and their not suppose to but she would do that for us. I told her I didn't want them separate. Then she said she had worked all day to accommodate us and I knew she was working on this and I needed 24 hours to cancel these appointments! Are you kidding me? I told her I never agreed to partial appointments. I can't review their services since we didn't get our appointments and after filing a complaint with Living Social I got a refund. Although at first it was a huge disappointment I think it was a blessing in the end. Who wants to get relaxing treatments from rude, sarcastic, women. read more

I had an awesome experience at Innovation Salon yesterday. I had a Living Social voucher for manicure, pedicure, facial, and massage. Every treatment and every provider was professional, experienced, and provided top notch service. I started off with a lengthy foot soak, rub and polish application by Mia. She did an excellent job and I found the tools and soaking area to be super hygenic (which is always important.). Next she did a shellac manicure and since I was new to the shellac scene she explained the process and suggested a nice neutral color. I would go back to her without hesitation. My next treatment was a 60 minute massage with Jessie (I think this was her name) and it was total bliss. She worked out the knots in my shoulders and spent extra time on spots that were extra tight. She was very calming and had good energy. My last treatment was a facial with Ceejee. She provided excellent care and gave me masks and potions designed for my skin's particular needs. I also found her to be very warm and personable and a real expert in her field. To sum up my experience at Innovation: my face is glowing, my nails are shiny, and my body is knot free. I would recommend Innovation Salon and plan on returning to treat myself to another spa day in the future. read more

I had a pedicure by Tricia and it was amazing. They have a wonderful pedicure set up with the most comfortable chairs that not only massage but warm up too. Plus its really clean there, I always get worried about pedicures because they tell you not to go to the places that have jets in the pedicure tubs. Well they dont have those jets that are impossible to sanitize properly, just a really clean comfortable set up. Plus Tricia spent an entire hour doing my pedicure and it turned out so cute and its two weeks later and still looks like the day I got it. read more

I recieved a Living Social deal as a gift, including a manicure, pedicure, massage and facial. I went to get a gel manicure and pedicure in one visit, saving the massage and facial for a later date. That was a BIG mistake. After the mani/pedi the technician told me that it was their policy to hold my certificate on file. Unfortunately, that had all the "fine print" including the expiration date. I called back several times to book the massage and facial and either got their voicemail or was given very limited hours to try to book the services. Unfortunately much time passed and when I called again to schedule, the owner told me the certificate had expired and "it's funny that you let the girl keep it when your gut was telling you that you shouldn't." She said that she had a ton of response from the Living Social deal and that it didn't result in much repeat business. Wonder why? She did say that she would give me a credit towards another service, but with such high prices I would have still had to pay $50+. If she was concerned about growing her business, she would know that getting people into her salon is half the battle and would have honored the deal purchased. Or when she realized that the certificate was nearing expiration - she said that she did still have it on file - she could have called me to try to book the services. That's what customer service is. I echo the other comments; bad nail job and VERY poor service by the OWNER. Stay away from this place! Plenty of other great salons in the area. read more
