How disappointing. I ordered my cookies just before 10pm and had them in my possession within 15 minutes which is honestly pretty impressive. However it is clear that speed is held over value here. I opened up my box to see one cookie completely broken and thrown about the box. And 2 of the other cookies were extremely tiny compared to other Insomnia Cookies I've been to... and honestly not much better than a store bought pack. They were not warm at all upon arrival and were extremely oily. The M&M cookie is a pathetic excuse having literally only 2 chocolate chips and 2 M&Ms in it. And the Chocolate Chunk cookie was not much better with approximately 4 chocolate chips. I can't believe I spent $15 for what is shown in the picture of my order. read more

I just stopped at this location to make a purchase. The young African American lady was on her personal cell phone. She didn't acknowledge my husband and I. However, the killer part, wait for it, after she walked to the back talking on the phone and then came back to the front of the store, I mistakenly thought she was ready to take my order. I was dubious when I heard all the 'buzz' about this place. They've been going around campus giving out coupons for free cookies. Thus to my surprise (1) they also have ice cream and other goodies (menu in pics), and (2) there isn't caffeine in the cookies. With friendly staff, easy off-hour parking, and yummy cookies - I'm sold! It's located at the bottom of the new dorm, with the entrance right on 55th St, next to the bike shop. There are a few seats to sit inside. The staff was SUPER friendly and upbeat. They are a bit expensive if you get into the 'deluxe' cookie and brownie category.... $1.65 for a regular, $3.30 for deluxe, and $4.25 for a brownie. I did a double take when I realized my 'I'll just pick up a snack for hubby n I' order was over $10! They bring them out warm, which makes them super gooey. Be sure to snatch some napkins, and maybe even a fork. read more

My cousin and I stopped by and the girl at the register was slightly rushing us and saying things under her breath. I'm not sure whether it's a good or bad thing that I discovered Insomnia Cookies in my neighborhood. Making yummy, fresh baked cookies accessible to me day or night might pose a problem. Addiction issues aside, Insomnia is great. I had friends coming by and ordered a box of 18 assorted cookies. They arrived right on time, hot and fresh. The price per cookie is comparable to any bakery, delivery charge is quite reasonable, and the fact they deliver late night...what's not to love. All you late night munchers, if you're in the mood for fresh, hot cookies; have a hard time deciding on a flavor; can't bake to save your life, Insomnia is for you. I placed an order days in advance for a colleague's birthday. I received a call the day I'd scheduled for delivery, basically saying they were 15 minutes behind. I tried to confirm the time with the employee and she said yes the order would be there by noon. Around 12:10 I decided to call, but was routed through to customer service, where the rep said the woman actually told me 12:15 (she did not), and promised the delivery would be there by 12:15. Around 12:37, when the cookies had still not arrived, I called again and was told they simply cancelled my entire order without any notification. The rep said she could place another order for me to arrive at 2, but I'm not going to hold my breath. They did not offer me a refund or really apologize for the situation of literally ruining a scheduled surprise party. read more

We usually have a very good experience when we go there when the two guys are the ones working the evening shifts, however tonight was a different story. On July 9th, 2019 at 9:25 pm this lady who identified herself as the manager (Alexis now I do not know if it's her real name because she refused to give us a receipt) gave us such a horrible service. Now we usually come with our pup and while my boyfriend goes order I stay by the door, which never bothered the other employees until tonight. She came in the store and with attitude said no dogs allowed, and because I did not want a confrontation I waited outside. Then she made a cookie sandwich ice cream and served us broken cookies on top of a messy melted ice cream and told us this is how they serve it when we in fact, we order it all the time. My boyfriend did not like the presentation and asked her to remake it or give a refund and this is when she became so unprofessional, refused to give us service, refused to give us her name but we caught it when she was venting then she called Maria to back her up and not remake the order or give a refund. On top of it she asked to give her 4.50 dollars for the other ice cream we already paid for. Now this is the first time we had to deal with such unprofessionalism and having her use a tone and calling us peasant is beyond me. This only makes me think that my medical degree that I'm working hard for as well as my boyfriend's law degree don't mean anything. read more

First of all their website is terrible . I've been ordering Insomnia for several years for my college kids but this was not a good experience. I ordered a cookie cake for my daughters birthday and scheduled it 6 hours out. It came almost an hour late and the tracking kept saying it was baking even up to the point she received it. I was excited about this place opening up to satisfy those library cookie cravings. I was quite disappointed. The cookies are wet with oil, which seeps out when you bite into them. The flavor is way too sweet, and the oil tastes like regular canola oil. These are similar cookies in quality to the ones you can buy at Subway, but twice the price. read more

I called the headquarters I November, and was told to sent the purchasing receipt information to the email.
