The two people working were so cool. I came in and only knew I wanted a sweet treat but didn't know which one so when they saw me confused they walked me through some of their favorite, top sellers and new releases which got my attention because they had a new snickers brookie that looked so good. Pros: -One lady was super friendly and helpful. -Cookies were flavorful, the Smores was my favorite (it was the only deluxe we tried, wish we tried more deluxes, maybe next time). -The classic chocolate Chunk was pretty good. Cons: -Some of the cookies were small, smallish medium and the one that cost more was bigger (which makes sense), but the others did not seem to have a method to the madness. -The other lady was super awkward and did not seem to know what she was doing (made it a little awkward to order at first). Especially someone came in after us and they got helped first (odd?), they were quick but a quick "I will be with you in a moment" would have been nice. -the basic cookies were rather small for the price, especially compared to competitors. I would like to see slightly larger, more uniform cookies. Also, they were just tossed in a box altogether, quite messily. One even tasty minty, btw I did not order a mint cookie. This means the cookies are probably either touching other cookies or are being stored together (which is not cool either way). My friend and I came to shoot content and the staff was very accommodating. We asked permission to film and she even offered us suggestions on what products would look best on film. There is indoor seating so if you're excited to jump into your selections before you make it home you can def do that. I like that they have a wide selection of cookies and brownies to choose from and even cold milk to wash it down. The location is in a busy plaza but with persistence you will be able to find a spot. Occasionally, they can be a bit underdone--especially the confetti deluxe--but it's still a favorite thanks to the white chocolate chips throughout. The ice cream seems to be store-bought, but it's a nice addition to pair with the cookies. I've visited several times and have noticed that staff availability can vary, particularly at night. Sometimes it seems the team is in the back preparing cookies, so walking in without anyone there to greet you consistently takes away just a bit from the dessert experience. There are no tables inside, but the line usually moves quickly when the shop is properly staffed. Parking is in a shared plaza with Blaze and Chipotle. Omgeee! Great service and uhmazing flavors! They were running a limited time deal for 2 dozen for $28.75 so we grabbed 24 assorted cookies to try. So good, warm and gooey. Plus we added on a container of cream cheese frosting for $3. That way our sugar cookies wouldn't be naked! Really you can put the frosting on any of the cookies. Don't forget...open late! Coookieeesss! My wife and I stopped here after dinner at Blaze Pizza next door. Perfect placement. Dinner and dessert in one stop. Insomnia Cookies isn't very large inside. You walk in to a small room with standing counters lining the walls and an ordering counter. A menu on the wall lays out all the goodies they have to offer. The thing here is obviously cookies. They have regular sized one and then deluxe. They also offer ice cream. Looking over the menu, there are plenty of options. All different kinds of cookie flavors to satisfy any craving. My wife and I both went with the "wich" option. You choose your two cookies and then you can either have icing or ice cream in the middle. I chose icing. My wife chose ice cream. After about a 5 minute wait, out came the goodness. My cookie-wich with icing in the middle was huge! One cookie was a deluxe triple chocolate and the other was a funfetti sugar cookie. I like sweet stuff and this was pretty much as sweet as it gets. The cookies were warm and soft, tons of chocolate in the triple chocolate and the funfetti, filled with sprinkles was excellent too. The icing in the middle was ample and added a ton of extra sweetness. It was almost too much! I saved about a quarter of it for the next day. My wife's cookie-wich was excellent too. She ended up not getting it in the sandwich and just had the ice cream on the side. She ordered two regular sized cookies. One was chocolate chip and the other was white chocolate macadamia nut with butter pecan ice cream in the middle. She said it was very good! We highly enjoyed our trip to Insomnia Cookies. They are roughly the same diameter as the cookies from Barnes and Noble Cafe. The Choc/PB one is very similar in taste to the Barnes which imo is great! The Brownie is solid. I wish there was a version with nuts. Pros: Soft and chewy cookies. I hate hard cookies, yet if they're too soft , they tend to disintegrate. This is in a good equilibrium. Heard about insomnia cookies in comparison to crumble. Decided to swing by after lunch at Blaze pizza next door. Got the 6 pack which includes 5 standard cookies and 1 deluxe for about $14. As another reviewer stated , the store front itself could use some work . Does not feel very inviting or put together. Very dim lighting with cookie display non existent . Cookie pictures are on the board menu , but when you order the cashier pulls it out from some built in cabinet below the register. I don't know about you , but I visually like to see my desserts so I can pick out what I'm drawn to . Cookies / cupcakes / donuts etc that are pre made will usually have a glass display to house them. Which made me wonder and ask casually ...'are these cookies baked fresh daily ?' Took my family to Insomnia Cookies on Fowler for a treat. The place was small and quaint. It was also clean and the staff were friendly. The kids choose to make their own Ice Creem Cookie Sandwiches. We choose a box of warm cookies. They were all super delicious! The kids loved being able to select two different cookie tops and bottoms then whatever ice cream they liked.
