I loved his attitude so much that I came back and got a 1995 Ford Explorer from the same company even though Sal was no longer working with them. When I went back a couple of days ago Sal was back and I was so happy. Showed us a couple of good cars. We really liked a maxima and he said that the boss Chris will be back on Monday so we waited and came back on Monday. Chris and I Settled on a Nissan Maxima for our trade in (2000 Mercury Grand Marquis) + $900. Left and came back maybe 3 hours later and Chris said no deal. Why he said? Because the buyer he had for the grand marquis no longer wanted to buy the marquis from him so he could not take the trade because he would have to sell it on the lot. This is a load of bull. You know its probably bevause we left and came back. We went in there so happy and left so mad we are never going back there again. We were just trying to be loyal to the company and they screwed us. I say yeah go in look around. A lot of there cars are wayyyyy over priced for their condition. A lot have mold on the seats and floor boards and they are still asking 4k for them. Ridiculous. But make sure you talk to Sal and nobody else. He is the best and will find you a car in your price range with the least problems! I don't know how he does it. He is the only good asset to the company. Watch out for dog poop too a couple of times we have gone and stepped in dog poop down every isle.

I came in for what I expected to be a quick oil change on my 6G Bronco. The service advisor, Tony, recommended that they also perform a recall inspection involving a potential engine wiring harness defect. I'm extremely glad he did -- because when they inspected it, they discovered that the wiring was actually open and exposed. Tony and the mechanic personally brought me into the shop, showed me the damage, and took the time to explain in detail why the recall needed to be addressed immediately. It was clear that this wasn't something they were taking lightly, and I genuinely appreciated their transparency. I'll also admit that I wasn't exactly the easiest customer that day. I live several cities away, already had plans for the weekend, and was frustrated about the unexpected repair. I definitely gave them some attitude. Tony and the mechanic remained calm, patient, and completely professional throughout the entire situation. They never became defensive, never treated me poorly, and continued focusing on getting my Bronco taken care of. What impressed me even more was that my Bronco was already experiencing some electrical issues. Rather than simply telling me I would have to come back another day, they immediately put the vehicle back on the jacks and completed the recall repair. They went well beyond what I expected. I arrived earlier than my scheduled appointment, and they took me in early. They identified a potentially serious issue that could have caused major problems down the road, clearly explained what was happening, and got it repaired right away -- all while handling my frustration with an incredible level of professionalism. My wife had been wanting to sell the Bronco, but honestly, this experience changed my perspective. It made me feel like Ford actually stands behind its products and, more importantly, takes care of its customers when something goes wrong. Tony and the mechanic could have simply done the oil change and sent me on my way. Instead, they took the extra time to look out for me, educate me about the problem, and make sure my vehicle was safe. These two employees significantly exceeded my expectations and represented Capitol Ford and the Ford brand extremely well.
