Hamid at Above and Beyond Auto was awesome. This was our 4th Tesla and I can say he is way more knowledgeable about Teslas than Teslas own Service Centers. We first ordered a used Tesla from Tesla website. Tesla website does not show the actual vehicles. The Tesla arrived severely damaged and out of spec. We declined it. Tesla refused to show us any actual pictures of their used inventory, so we changed to looking at dealerships for a used Tesla. That's how we found Hamid. Hamid answered quickly thru text, set up our visit and showed us several cars. He was low pressure and very friendly. We found a 2022 model X we really liked. We told him we'd think about it a few days. He didn't bug us or keep calling like other dealers do. I texted a few questions and we made a deal. The pickup was very easy and he pointed us to Providence Credit Union that gave us the best rate and were easy to get financed with. Hamid had us sign paperwork real quick and we were driving home with our new car 30 min after arriving Above and Beyond has close contact with Tesla service center nearby. All their used teslas were in immaculate condition. New tires, brand new steering wheel, and a new trunk part that commonly breaks. They go through their teslas very closely and don't sell junk. Anyone I know in market for a used Tesla I will gladly point them to Hamid. It was 10x more enjoyable than dealing with Tesla directly. First positive review I have ever left regarding an experience with a car dealership in my 45 years of owning cars. Just purchased a 2021 Tesla Model Y from Hamid and Edgard(?) this past weekend and could not be happier with both the car and their service. Totally low key, no pressure sales interactions with both of them. Their knowledge of Tesla's was significantly better than any of the staff at the other dealerships I encountered during various test drives of other cars and I felt they were being honest with their responses to my questions. This was totally the opposite of other dealerships where I had one rep try to convince me that significant paint pitting blemishes on both sides of the car could be "easily" polished out. When I pointed out that the front/rear bumpers appeared to have been repainted due to the over spray on adjacent black trim pieces and missing retaining clips, he simply attributed the issues to the previous owner likely having run over a curb. Just amazing that he thought anyone would fall for that explanation!!! The big box store "sales" reps/managers were uninformed and pushy to try and close the deal, totally the opposite of Above and Beyond Automotive. The amazing part is that they also had the best pricing which made it a no haggling discussion unlike others which showed one price on the internet that excluded other "fees" due at point of purchase which increased the final price significantly. The vehicle was detailed meticulously and showed very well which was the final selling point for my purchase.
