    About a month ago I bought a KIA EV6 from this exact dealership (I paid in full). First off the guy who was my point of sales was something else. I had asked him for pictures and videos of the car and this guy sends me videos of a completely different car (different color) just not even the car I'm inquiring about. I drive out there and take a look at the car and it's not the one he sent me videos of he later realizes that. But the car I was interested in had dents in the car. One in the passenger side door and 1 on the trunk (this one is in two spots but you can see it was probably from the same exact accident) no big deal I asked for only $700-800 off their asking price if I could have those things fixed. Tell me why after I buy the car I have to keep contacting them on when I can drop my car off to remove the dents as if they were completely uninterested in filling their agreed upon side of the bargain. I was calling and calling and kept being told I'd get a call back. Keep this in mind because it will come into context later. Fast forward I finally get to drop off my car they barely did a good job removing the dent you can still see it reflect. But the dent on the bottom by the license plate hasn't been removed. I left as it was taking forever to get my car or any help and I was only on my lunch break at work. And I told my sales guy that hey there's still a dent there and he said he would speak to his manager about it. FASTFORWARD THE SALES GUY never calls me back and leaves me on delivered so once I get back from my work trip (2weeks) I give the dealership a call and they say they cant do anything because I didn't speak to someone right away about it.... I quite literally spoke to the sales rep about it while I was taking the car back. (The only reason why I took my car back is because that same day I was also leaving for a work trip and did not want to keep their loaner which would inconvenience them (not me) so I rushed to pick my car up). I told them about the dent and the car immediately and have time stamps of our conversation and how the sales rep would get back to me after speaking with his manager. (I never get a call back) But then after waiting 2 weeks I call them and to my surprise they notify me that the sales rep is on leave for medical reasons and how would I know that? That's right I wouldn't so how is it my fault this guy never got back to me and why is it such a big deal that 2 weeks later I take it in my own hands to reach out to them once again for something they are supposed to contact me about. Mind you I only owned the car for a month and 1 week give or take. Like I have to bug these people for such minor things and they're just not trying to help. The employee doing the car loaners is nice don't get me wrong but this whole place is terrible. Told me I would have to pay them to fix the other dent that I assumed was apart of the same trunk dent. But I guess not you live and you learn. Also these cheap people didn't even give me 2 keys. I got like a backup key for my car after I signed the papers. That's my fault for not asking prior but dang this place sucks. Just looking to make a buck off you they aren't interested in your problems or anything they agree to.

    I can't say enough great things about this Capitol VW location and working with Juho. He really made the whole process so easy of making my dream car my reality! He was very professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure to answer any and all questions about the vehicle. He even had a bow on the car for me and had it pulled up in front for when I arrived. I came all the way from Walnut Creek (an hour away) just to look at this vehicle due to the great price and lower miles than some others I had seen closer to me. I have always wanted this car since I was a little girl, so when I started shopping for a newer car I thought, why not see if I can make my dream a reality finally. You only live once, right? This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from a DGDG dealership and the peace of mind this gives me is priceless. It's such a clean car with no dents, clean interior, it looks brand new practically. The whole process of trading in my Mazda 3 S premium and the fair pricing they gave me for it made the decision so much easier. Their finance team worked their magic to me get a great rate and my monthly payments super low. I got a great price on my used 2024 Mustang Ecoboost Premium Convertible and couldn't be happier with my purchase! I highly recommend purchasing from this dealership and working with Juho.

    A great example of why you must know what services are needed for your car.  Most of these service items are unnecessary--read the manual!

    I had great experiences with this dealer for service in the past, but not this time. I booked an appointment for this dealer to get 2 recalls (the door handle replacement and software update) completed on my 2021 VW ID.4 Pro. Despite the appointment, the dealer mentioned that the parts won't be available until at least April. Then, since I also needed to get the 60,000 service reminder warning reset, the service advisor, Patty Argetsinger, mentioned, "you got to do this 'minimum' service or we can't reset the service reminder warning." To that I just said, "No, I simply got to leave." It's ludicrous--I already did the brake fluid replacement (per the manual) 7 months ago. Replaced the cabin filter myself. None of the other items were recommended or needed in the manual, and the dealer didn't even look at the car yet. So be careful--and be sure to follow with what is required in the owner's manual!

    I walked in without an appointment on Saturday after seeing a deal online for the ID.4. In under 5 minutes, a sales rep (Juho) saw me and had me sitting in a vehicle for a test drive. Juho showed me some basic features and I was on my way test driving the car. When I came back, he suggested that I take it the 4 miles home so that my wife could look at it as well. Juho listened to what I wanted the car for (mostly as a commute car and weekend family car). He understood that I wanted and only needed the standard trim. It was refreshing that he didn't upsell me on a more expensive trim. Then we started talking price. He gave me the "out the door" estimate for cash, finance, and 2x lease options. I was prepared to fight for the deal that I saw online; however, I was presently surprised that the costs presented beat the online deal. I was sold. I didn't have all the funding ready and he was ok when I said I had to come in on Sunday. I asked about trading in my old car. Juho was quick with an estimate and didn't fight it when I told them the Carvana price. He was honest and let me know that I should probably take the Carvana option. We texted a few times to setup a time and color option (I was good with the car I test drove). When I came in on Sunday, the car was detailed and charged. I watched football while all the initial paperwork was being done. I was out of the dealership driving my new car within 90 minutes. I've been beaming at work today telling my coworkers of the price I got and the easy experience.

    My wife and I decided it was time to upgrade her vehicle due to a litany of issues with her current car. We worked with Juho Hong and had a 10/10, 5 star experience. It was quick (yes, you read that correctly) and easy. He answered all our questions, didn't pressure us, and guided us into the right direction. Later that morning we drove off in a brand new 2024 Tiguan Wolfsburg. She's had it for two weeks now and absolutely loves it. Go see Juho, I promise you it's worth every second.

We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason.     Scammed by DGDG…read more Last year, I sold my fully PPF-wrapped Tesla Model Y to DGDG. During the evaluation, they told me they had to deduct $1,000 from the offer because the car was wrapped and they needed to remove the wrap before reselling it. I accepted the reduced offer based on that explanation. Months later, I was contacted by the person who bought my old Tesla. He found me on LinkedIn to ask some questions about the car. To my surprise, he told me the car was sold to him with the full PPF wrap still on it. I immediately called DGDG to understand what happened. Their response was, "You agreed to the final selling price, so there's nothing we can do now." I spent over 90 minutes trying to reach a manager. Everyone I spoke with said, "I'm not responsible; I'll connect you to the manager," and then the line got disconnected. When I tried to call back, I received no response. When I finally got connected with a manager, she said, "The buyer wanted to have the PPF, so we didn't unwrap it." And while I was still talking to her, the phone got disconnected again. I called back, but no one answered. This was a clear case of deception. They reduced the price claiming they had to remove the wrap, then sold the car as-is with the wrap still on, profiting from my loss. Avoid doing business with this DGDG. If they ask to reduce your car's value for any reason, demand clear documentation that explains the breakdown of the final offer and the reasons behind any deductions. Do not rely on verbal explanations. I regret trusting them.

However, about a week later when I went to get an oil change, I realized something that made the process more complicated than it should have been. Because this is a company vehicle, oil changes require approval through the corporate fleet program. I later found out that the dealership never actually called to get the oil change approved, which created unnecessary confusion on my end. Another thing that stood out was that the service advisor repeatedly asked why my company didn't just buy me a brand new car off the lot. Since this is a corporate fleet vehicle, that decision obviously isn't something I control. It felt like an odd question to keep asking and didn't really have anything to do with the service appointment. The recall service itself was completed, but better communication and a clearer understanding of how corporate fleet vehicles work would make the experience smoother for customers in the future.

    We purchased our car on 1/31. When getting the car we noticed a hole in the seat and was told that…read moresomeone would be repairing it. We also paid for a sealant to be placed over the outside and inside of the car. We also had an anti theft system already installed in the car that we were told we had to pay for because it was already on the car. They were to activate and then send us the information via email so that we can complete the process. We asked to leave the car and return once the repairs were made, the sealant, placed, and the anti theft connected. Th person who sold us the car by the name of Samson informed us to take the car at that time because they would need to make an appointment to get everything done. We leave with the car and are called with an appointment time to return. We live 1.5 hrs away. I take the car back there at said appointment time and everyone seems confused.because the person who repairs the car is in Tahoe and only does the work on Thursdays and this was not a Thursday. Samson calls and apologizes and says not to worry, I know you live far so I will make arrangements to pick up the car and return it once the work is completed. I am told while I am there the sealant cannot be placed because the hole would need to be repaired first. They did however connect the anti theft. After that completion my clock and everything was thrown off. I asked them to please reset the clock and they couldn't. I was told when I get home to do the update and it should fix the problem and if it didn't that they would fix it when they bring it in for the other tasks. Did the update and it still doesn't work. The said time came and passed that was arranged by Samson for the car to be picked up from the resident. I was told when I phoned to inquire that he forgot and could we set up another time. Lo and behold that time too came and Samson said he was in the hospital sick and I haven't heard from anyone since. Not to mention we never received the email for the anti theft device that we need to finish setting up which by the way they tacked on an extra $4000+. I've made multiple calls and either I'm told a manager will get back to me, the phone just rings and rings, or it goes to voicemail. In short the worse experience I've ever encountered. In long; they will continue to hear from me until the things we paid for are done or just give us our money back. Currently looking into how to handle this next. Just beware!

Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

This is a family owned business and it shows in the way they treat their customers. When you buy from Slipstream, you are buying from the owners themselves, Nathan, Val, and Darwin. Nathan addressed all my concerns when shopping for a reliable car for my daughter. He listened to my input and asked relevant questions to understand our needs and meet them. The buying process itself was quick and problem-free. Nathan was flexible and met me at the office after hours to sign the papers. The CarMax online quote was 5k; we visited the Fremont location for the appraisal (which was very busy) it took 90 min to get the offer document. You can redeem the offer at any location within 7 days, so we went to San Jose CarMax the next morning. We arrived before 10am opening, In 45 min, we completed the paperwork and had our check. Due to its age will likely go to auction, but it was a great car! Both locations are spacious & clean. Staff is helpful and professional however, Fremont is much busier as it is also an auction location. Recommend San Jose. If you go during a busy time, bring snacks; there are no cafes nearby, a coffee kiosk out front would do a great business.

Throughout it all, I appreciated that Jeremy was knowledgeable, no-bs, patient, and responsive. I never had to communicate with the dealer at all, until I showed up at the dealership for my test drive, where the salesman had all the paperwork ready to go. From test drive arrival to leaving the dealer with my new car, it only took 2 hours, which feels pretty efficient. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car!
