When they came, they went above and beyond to pinpoint the exact location it's coming from by going on the roof with a hose and opening up light fixtures from the living room to take pictures inside. They were able to find the exact spot and seal it as well as replacing all the rotten wood we had around the chimney. Finally no more pots and pans for us! We are very grateful for the hard work and the dedication that they put into solving our issue. The pricing was very fair as well. We will hire them again for future projects and I highly recommend Zack and team.

He is very agreeable and was always willing to negotiate and perform reworks until I was satisfied with the result. That said, if your project is on the more complicated side like mine was, you should be prepared to take an active role in project management. The timelines did extend significantly beyond the original estimates, and I had to stay on top of the subcontractors to ensure the craftsmanship met my standards. It wasn't a hands-off experience, but because he is such an honest person to deal with and his pricing is so competitive, we got both projects to the finish line. A strong pick for those on a budget who don't mind being involved in the details. After working with many contractors in the Bay Area, I've found that the alternative is usually someone charging much more who promises a turnkey experience but can't guarantee it either. Knowing that tradeoff, I would hire Jay again - and already have.

What was going on and what was happening if I had any concerns, he addressed them immediately and make sure that they met my expectations. I would use Wise Builders again and I would request Marc to be my project manager again on any future jobs that I had. He worked really well with our designer Jocelyn, I appreciated having a designer. Having a designer to bounce ideas off have her expertise on fixtures and toilets was amazing. Jocelyn did an excellent job working with me and when my daughter had some changes to this design, she was very receptive to those changes and helped me update the changes in our design The only thing that could have been better is, if the tile supplier had communicated with Marc that the tile for the guest shower floor was backlogged. Marc worked really hard to expedite the tile and was in communication with me along that process. In order to give us options besides waiting for the tile, Jocelyn, our designer gave us an alternative tile. Looking at the tile floor now I like it better than what I had originally chosen. I have done other remodeling projects and I would have to say that working with Marc has probably been one of the easiest remodeling projects that I have done. I appreciated that I did not have to be so hands-on in the project because I trusted that Marc would get it done.

All prior interior work in our house had been done by handyman. I really appreciated the communication from our project manager Marc. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.

Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

There have been multiple unresolved issues with the quality of work and follow-through. One example is an LED light that continues to flicker. It has been more than six months, with many calls and text messages, but the issue still has not been fixed. Another example is damage to our garage cabinet, where a hole was created during the work. We are still waiting for this to be repaired as well. Overall, the lack of timely resolution and poor communication after the project has been extremely frustrating.

From the start of the design project, they used high quality sub contractors for design, engineering, and all the trades in the house. Fernando, our project manager was incredible. He approached the project with a keen eye for details and took total ownership over the sub contractors. He would stop by almost every night to ensure that the subs were performing their work and not leaving or damaging any other contractors' work. Sarmad is a problem solver. He sees an issue and thinks through how to solve it, then presents clear options to choose from. Throughout the process, we were not surprised by unanticipated expenses - all changes were clearly explained and we had the option to make changes via clear change orders. EDR uses Buildertrend for all program management and billing, which made payments, change approvals, and scheduling tracking seamless. While this sounds like a basic requirement in 2026, not all contractors use these services which just adds friction to the process. We couldn't recommend EDR more for the quality of work on our house, the schedule execution, care for detail, and just taking care of our project. Along the way, we never felt nickel & dimed, and the value of their services definitely exceeded our expectations.

As always, Proper Hour Home Services were very easy to work with and did a fantastic job at a great price! Our new fridge was too tall for our cabinet space, so needed to cut about 1 1/4 inches from top lip. We also had a long copper tubing run connecting filtered water to our old fridge ice maker. Since Lowe's installation doesn't work with copper tubing and requires a valve to hook up the ice maker line, we needed the copper tubing cut and a valve added to the new end. Ihor from PHHS came and did an excellent job on both tasks! He was able to detach the cabinet lip and cut it outside, so we never heard the loud sawing we expected :-). After installing the cut lip, it measured just right with a little room to space. He cut the copper tubing very cleanly after turning off the water main and installed and tested the valve he bought at Home Depot. Ihor also put down plastic before the work and did a great cleanup job. Our new fridge fit perfectly in the cabinet space and Lowe's installers had a very simple, smooth hookup of the ice maker line to the new valve with their ice maker line installation kit we bought with the fridge. We started our partial home remodel (approx. 1000 sq feet) by interviewing several contractors who refused to give us a firm quote because we needed an architect and a structural engineer to give them the numbers for removing a load bearing wall and a fireplace that was centrally located. However, we interviewed Eden with Inspired Builders (who was also our project manager) and he gave us a firm quote on the costs of this project. He patiently worked with us over the details of this project and even asked us what it would take to give Inspired Builders this job. We felt very comfortable and confident after talking to Eden and decided to move forward with Inspired Builders. We also looked at photos of their remodeled projects, talked to past customers who had similar work done on their remodel and visited a project that was currently in progress. Our architect/kitchen designer was Sivan who did a wonderful job bringing our vision to life on paper and adding in her own excellent ideas. We were pleased with the professional work done by both Sivan and the structural engineer. Our remodel included tearing down a load bearing wall, removing a double fireplace, popcorn ceilings, flooring (tile, linoleum and carpet), and all kitchen cabinets. There were some problems that popped up, but Eden and David and his team of electricians, plumbers and roofers worked diligently to come up with good solutions. Julio and his team did an amazing job painting, installing cabinets, flooring, tile and doors. In particular, Julio's team worked diligently to install "custom" bi-fold doors and handle a pesky plumbing issue. Communication with Eden was excellent as he always addressed any questions or concerns quickly as well assuring us that the problem would be addressed usually within 24 hours. My husband and I were pleased with our experience and results with Inspired Builders. This project was completed within the estimated time frame and on budget, even with the extra work and materials. I would like to mention that since completion of our remodel, my husband has been in our crawl space beneath our house to add some wiring, and he mentioned that the extra wires that were installed by Inspired were neatly wound up UNDER the house (where one might not normally be looking). If Inspired took the time to carefully handle this normally unseen and small detail, then we feel confident that Inspired handled the construction of our remodel with excellent care. read more

I would like to express my appreciation to our project manager, Eden and his team at Inspired Builders Inc. We recently did a full remodel on an original Eiker home in Sunnyvale. The house had all original fixtures and nothing had been done to the house since it was built. Let's just stay it was in very bad shape! The projects included re-wiring the kitchen/bathroom, remodeling both bathrooms, completely remodeling the kitchen, removing walls, redoing flooring, painting of the interior/exterior walls, drywall, insulation, and redoing the siding panels of the house. From the very beginning, Eden was professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the process, from planning and design to execution, making sure everything stayed on track. Eden was very honest, up front about the cost, and we felt like our best interest/concerns was always first. The entire process was handled in a highly professional and organized manner. Eden and his team demonstrated excellent leadership, clear communication, and strong attention to detail throughout every stage of the work. Deadlines were respected, expectations were managed properly, and the overall execution reflected a high level of responsibility and experience. Inspired Builders services included a 3D designer who visualized our home and helped us choose finishes in-person. This was a great service in helping us navigate the many decision making we had to make during the process and visualizing the final product. The final product is practically identical to the renders that were produced. The final results look incredible and all of our family is amazed to see the transformation. Inspired Builders did a phenomenal job remodeling my master bathroom. I found them on Yelp and Ben came to my house to give me an estimate. Out of the 5 contractors I interviewed, I found Ben as the most creative and professional, so I hired Ben and his team and it was an experience unlike any other. Ben, David and the team went above and beyond to ensure that my project was not only successful, but also an enjoyable and memorable process. They didn't just execute my vision, but they elevated it to a whole new level with their unique ideas and solutions to maximize the use of the space. We reconfigured the bathroom floor plan, and what really made this experience stand out was the level of care and attention that the team put into every aspect of the design. During the construction process they ook the time to get to know me and my family, and really listened to our needs and desires. Great for home addition !! Great working with a company that provided an interior designer, architect, structural engineer and build of course ! It was easy to have clear communication with the whole team through the whole project. We received bids from 5 contractors for 800 sqft addition ( for new 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a bigger kitchen) and we chose Barak from inspired Builders because he seemed to best understand our needs/desires, and had numerous photos of recent work that put his finishing touches on display. Barak was also a little more clear as to the details of the final cost, our responsibility in the process, and what they had to offer. From the beginning: Barak is very involved in the process from providing the design, choosing the right fixtures, and conducting final inspections at each stage. He actually saved us quite a bit of money by pointing us in the right direction for certain fixtures and final touches. His passion and desire to do the right thing for the customer should not be confused as a "hard-sell". When we had indecisions, Barak gently provided options and recommendations, but was always willing to go with our choice. All the workers were very considerate, professional, extremely hard working and detail oriented from beginning to end. The workmanship is excellent and was clean all over the project. . Exceptional Experience with Inspired Builders! We recently hired Inspired Builders Inc. for a major renovation, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The project scope was extensive: remodeling three bathrooms, replacing old carpet with beautiful new flooring, and repainting our entire house interior. From start to finish, our project manager, Joseph K., and our foreman, Jose, were absolute professionals. Both brought an incredible level of expertise to the table, stayed on top of every detail, and made sure all the work was completed strictly on time. What really set them apart, though, was their willingness to go above and beyond. They provided amazing extra services that saved us so much stress--like dismantling our bedframe, assembling new office furniture (a desk and chair), and even hanging up our wall paintings. I recently had the pleasure of working with Inspired Builders on my home remodeling project, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We selected Ben for our bathroom remodel and overall had a great experience. Ben was our project maker and right from getting quotes we found ourselves very comfortable working with him. During the whole project Ben, the contractor and his crew were very flexible and accommodating. He was very transparent and communicated all progress/expectation/issues very well. Ben helped us throughout the project even when selecting and shopping for finished materials like tiles, vanity, bath tub, light fixtures etc. They helped us get the permit in a few days and we started the job. They protected all surfaces that need to be protected. Workers came every weekday to do their job and clean up everyday day too! Sweeping the floor and keep all materials and tools well organized. No more self watering them. All work done is gonna save me time! So value wise I'm saving time more inside house than outside. Summer exception I always plant vegetables in summer. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set. The team has made sure to take care of our need from the very beginning to the end of the project, for little things like making sure we have the new lock after the whole project is done is even within their considerations, so we are moving into our new home feeling happy, comfortable and safe. The final product was exactly what we wanted, and throughout the process Gili continued to check in and make sure that everything was perfect.
