Is one of my favorite donut places. They have really good sausage kolache's. And they are always really fast and friendly. My daughter really enjoys the crazy donuts. I recommend a large sausage and cheese kolache.

This place had fresh and yummy food. The service was quick and friendly. It's clean and the prices were awesome. They have kolaches, croissant sandwiches and a decent variety of donuts. People kept coming in while we ate so it must be a local favorite. That's how you know you picked a good spot.

Was craving kolaches and found this place on Yelp. Since there is only one Kolache Factory in SA and it's clear across town we decided to give Instant Donuts a try. They offer a variety of sweet (right side of display case) and savory (left side of display case). I like how if you are craving a sausage, cheese and jalapeño you have the option to getting it in a croissant, jumbo kolache, biscuit, or taco. They also have ham & cheese as well as sausage only, sausage cheese, sausage egg & cheese, bacon egg & cheese and so forth. We were hoping the sausage was polish sausage, but tasted more like a hot dog with cheese & jalapeño. For the sweet side, they offer a decent variety of donuts (glazed, flavored, icings, etc). They also offer a wide selection of beverages such as fruit juices, sodas, teas, milk, energy drinks, and coffee. I kinda wished they had the jalapeño popper and sausage biscuits and gravy kolaches like at the Kolache Factory, but I can't complain too much. Service here was friendly and energetic. Would definitely come back! NOTE: Yelp hours are wrong. They close at 4 pm everyday.

The baked goods aren't on the menu, so when we walked by the counter filled with croissants, kouign amann, bear claws, apple pie, cheese cakes, it was hard to choose what we wanted!! We ordered: the Alamo Burger: a 8 oz wagyu beef smash burger , served with a fried egg, caramelized onions, cheese on a crispy croissant bun. It was incredible and worth the 15-20 minute wait! Almond croissant - a monster sized, flaky croissant with a generous almond filling. Guy Fieri highlighted this croissant on his DD&D show. It's probably a million calories not worth it! Tequila strawberry tres leches croissant - a small, cream filled croissant with strawberries. This was our least favorite. My husband didn't like the filling, I didn't like the sogginess of the croissant. Coffee - really good brewed coffee with free refills. We plan to go back a few more times while we're in town!!

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The gravy had a strange gelatin-like consistency and lacked the rich flavor you'd expect from a proper Jäger sauce. The veal was extremely chewy and honestly made me feel ill afterward. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal. I also greatly appreciated Mr. Adam, the kitchen manager, who personally came out to discuss my concerns. He handled the constructive criticism with professionalism and openness, and I truly respected the fact that he listened carefully and considered my feedback regarding the sauce. Although I wouldn't personally return for the food, Joseph and Mr. Adam turned what could have been a terrible experience into one where I still felt valued as a customer. Their professionalism absolutely deserves recognition.

In the lobby for checkin today, I had an instant headache because the fragrance was so strong. At that point they informed us that there is some additional fee per day on top of the already pricey room, a fee that they never disclosed before today. We continued upstairs, and I could hardly breathe in the elevator it was so scented. When we got to the room it was also heavily fragranced. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work reliably. Our call dropped several times. They offered box fans for us to air out the room. However, when we opened the windows, a blast of cigarette smoke wafted into the room because it is directly above their designated smoking area. We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.
