I was contemplating for a while whether to get my attic cleaning and insulation replacement done this year or wait another season. I had the pleasure of dealing directly with Moses, the owner of Insulation Labs. I was referred to Moses by my HVAC guy while my house was ongoing a complete remodel. My experience was absolutely outstanding. Moses reviewed my project and provided me with all the options I have regarding thermal and sound proofing insulation. Based on Moses's input I ended up insulating my attic, exterior walls and raised floors with fiberglass insulation above the code requirements. In addition to that, I had my master bedroom and kids rooms walls insulated with sound proofing mineral wool insulation. Insulation Labs installers did an outstanding job. They completed their scope of work within two days, left the house cleaner than it was when they got there, and passed inspection on the first run. I very recently bought an older house which I plan to remodel, the attic was with filled old school blown in glass insulation and 70yrs of rat poop! My contractor said "no way are we touching that - call a professional insulation removal/installation company" so my search once again led to sorting through Yelp reviews...after sleuthing carefully I decided on "Attic Insulation by LABS" They have stellar reviews and it seemed they deal with this kind of insulation, which I believe is the most hazardous of all and really requires a careful removal process. If I could, I would rate this company 6 stars for a job this company just completed for my relatives. Recently, we discovered copious amounts of rodent droppings throughout my relatives' attic. We needed skilled professionals to identify and block all possible points of rodent entry, as well as to clean and sanitize the attic of the accumulated waste. Moreover, we needed a conscientious company, sensitive to working around older family members living in the house. After contacting 4 attic cleaning companies, we decided on Attic Insulation Labs (AIL) because of the great Yelp reviews on their workmanship and professionalism. The reviews proved true for us as well. Given the condition of the attic, we opted for the full attic treatment: rodent dropping cleaning/sanitizing; rodent entry blocking; R-30 batt insulation install; and air duct replacement. The job required 8 people for a full day's work. Throughout the installation, the foreman and quality control manager made sure that the job was performed thoroughly and efficiently. The stages of work were well documented with photos, which we viewed at the end of the day. The path from the front door to attic access was well protected by their plastic "tunnels", so that at job's end, the interior of the house was as clean as before the crew had arrived. It was a large job, with unexpected challenges. Where other companies might have tried to run at the first sight of complications, this company worked with us to make sure everything was fully satisfactory. This is where the quality of the company ethos shone through--from the owner who no doubt sets the standard, to the sales rep, to the quality control manager, to the administrator. Clearly--delivery of a job well done to the client's full satisfaction is their genuine goal. They did not disappoint. This is a one-of-a-kind company. Attic Insulation Labs was not the cheapest company that submitted a quote for this project. But, if we had to do this job again (hopefully, not for a long time!), we would choose Attic Insulation Labs--no question. read more

I have to include the before photos. We had a completely FILTHY attic. When the roof was redone a bunch of debris fell into our attic and we couldn't deal with it for about ten years because my parents were ill. So the attic was a horrifying disaster and I didn't know who I could turn to. Who would help us with such an awful mess? Insulation by LABS came out and assured us that they could help us AND that they wouldn't get anything dirty in the process, and their price was more than fair as it included removing scrap wood and trash and old carpet (and who knows what else) in addition to removing all the dirty insulation, lifting and reinstalling all the plywood and installing all new insulation. What's more, the job turned out to be BIGGER than they originally thought, taking two days instead of one, and they didn't change the price on me. In fact, they gave me a discount because less insulation was needed than I thought. The pictures speak for themselves. WOWWW, the angels at the Attic Insulation by LABS have SAVED me!!! For the past couple of weeks I kept hearing noises in my attic and, after watching the local news, I was afraid I had an intruder in my attic space. My next door neighbor agreed to climb there and could find nothing but dirty insulation and a lot of rat droppings which lead me to understand that I do have intruders but of a different kind. Evil rodents! At this point I was even more terrified. I'd be much happier to find a stranger in my attic and not a family of rats. They also replaced our duct work and installed our new A/C and Heater system. Ok, this company is top notch. I have to admit that I started to remove my old insulation myself and quickly realized I needed a professional. I met with Yahav and he did a thorough inspection of my attic along with photos so he could review my options and give me a quote. We set up a date and Daniel and his crew were onsite/on time and very courteous. They did an excellent job removing the old blow in insulation and associated debris. I choose to go with the R-38 fiberglass batt type. My home is much quieter and outside noise (helicopters, airplanes etc.) has been greatly reduced. It's funny to give a review for a company that didn't do any work, but I have to give this company a great review. Dor came out to give me an estimate to remove old insulation and install new installation. He told me that the job was so easy that I could do it myself. He took 15 minutes to show me how I could do it and save myself a lot of money. He even told me what kind of insulation to buy. As if that wasn't enough, because I was in the attic anyway, and it was the first week of December, I was taking our Christmas decorations out of the attic. Without me asking, Dor spent 10 minutes helping me take all of the tubs of Christmas decorations out of the attic. If this isn't a good sign for a company to use, I don't know what is. read more

These guys saved my sanity! I was spending the weekend at my grandmas house and I started hearing noises from the attic. I own a house in Pasadena and about a month and a half ago I had a rodent problem in my attic, I could hear the rats crawling above my head, creepy. I was searching for a reputable pest control company in my area and, for some reason, my Yelp search results got me to Attic Insulation LABS. I sent them a message via Yelp asking for a quote to remove the pests and received a phone call shortly after. Eran from Attic Insulation LABS called me to follow up, gather more info and clarify that they do not provide rodent removal services, but he would like to help me find the right guys for the job. I did not expect such a courtesy call, a simple reply message saying they don't provide such service would have been more than most service providers do. He offered to connect me with a reliable rodent control company he's got a lot of first hand experience with and, with my approval, proceeded with connecting the calls and stayed on the line the entire conversation to make sure it goes well. Following the call I had a meeting scheduled with the Niel from the rat control company for the day after. Niel gave me a very reasonable quote for the job, placed traps, came for three follow up visits and, all together, caught one giant rats and two small ones. He was as professional and courtious as Eran said he is. Oliver was the liaison and coordinator for my insulation project. He was very professional, prompt, and courteous. There were minor hiccups during the process, but Oliver and the front desk did a wonderful job resolving those issues. Hired Insulation Labs a second time in July 2021 when we needed to replace the insulation in our crawl space due to a pin hole in a hot water pipe under the house. We have replaced all of our pipes due to this. Dor Dvir from Insulation Labs came out and gave us a proposal for the work and when the vapor barrier insulation came in he had it installed. The technician was very thorough and we are extremely satisfied with the job done. Usually a person only goes through installing insulation once not twice, but I have to say that Insulation Labs went above and beyond for us. There were some delays in getting the vapor barrier due to the pandemic but the company was very persistent. We hired Insulation Labs to remove our old (1953) attic insulation and pump in new fiberglass insulation today. Yovani Landa and his crew were extremely efficient. They arrived on time and immediately started to prep the house for the job as outlined in the estimate by Adam Torres. Drop cloths? Check! Dust barriers from entry point to attic? Check! HEPA filter for dust? Check! They vacuumed out bags and bags of old insulation, applied disinfectant, sealed any leaks in the attic, installed radiant barrier, and blew in figerglass insulation into the entire attic space. At the same time we had then drill holes in one wall to blow in fiberglass insulation in the wall of the hottest side of the house. Each individual was efficient and approachable for questions. Yovani and his crew were in sync the whole time and when they left you couldn't even tell they had been here. All of the bags of old insulation and debris left with them as they drove away. I recently had a water damage in my attic due to a bad HVAC condensation line installation. I needed to get rid of all the soaked insulation and put new one in. Since the insulation was old anyway I decided to replace the whole thing. Out of the insulation contractors I reached out to, Guy from Attic Insulation by LABS was the most qualified. He was very detailed in his quote and gave me some good professional insights. The day of the work Moses, LABS owner came in with three guys, they covered everything properly and went up the attic. The attic cleaning service took the longest, about 4 hours, due to a tight fit in my attic. The batt insulation installation took about a couple of hours more. Had a very smooth attic cleanup and re-insulation project with Insulation Labs. Having dealt with enough shady contractors over the years, I am always skeptical. But these guys earned my trust throughout the process. Oliver came out to do the estimate, was very thorough and answered all my questions. He was very good with email follow up questions as well. Their price was a little higher than the other estimates we received, but also included sealing of all ceiling air leaks (like through light fixtures), more thorough rodent proofing, and an attic fan installation. They also use a large crew so everything gets done in one day. Some other companies said it was a two day job. So we thought it was good value for the money. The work crew consisted of Erwin, Pastor, Mynor, Noe, Jimmy and Moises. Those are some hardworking dudes! Erwin is the nicest, most respectful crew chief you will ever meet. He fully explained the process and kept me updated throughout the day. We have two attic access points, in an interior hallway and in the garage. We assumed they would use both access points, since it would have been easier to get to different spots throughout the attic in our ranch style house. But in order to minimize disruption to us (since we were all home due to COVID-19 work & school shutdowns), they only used the garage access point. Incredibly considerate. They took pictures throughout the process. Our attic was a total mess, and after they finished vacuuming and sanitizing, it looked and smelled fresh enough to eat off the attic floor. They then laid the R-38 insulation throughout. The entire attic is now clean and coated wall-to-wall with thick insulation. I am very happy with their work. I would recommend getting a few estimates from reputable insulation companies, but I think you will be impressed with Insulation Labs even if they aren't the cheapest. When it comes to home projects, you usually do get what you pay for. read more
