I've always had minor back issues from playing sports and just chalked it up to normal "soreness". After my first visit to Dr.Poff I realized it's wasn't normal and why didn't I come sooner. After my first 2 sessions I felt like a new man and as an avid golfer I've shaved at least 3-4 strokes off my golf game and gained 20+ yards on my drives. My first visit with Dr. Poff was remarkable - arriving for my visit, I had to take the elevator, as I was not able to climb the stairs. After my visit, I was not only able to comfortably walk down the stairs, but also up the stairs at home. I found this office living locally. Dr. Poff and Shari (Office Manager) are awesome people and very accommodating. Unlike most Chiropractic offices that are worried about quantity, this office cares about quality work with each individual. Instead of going straight to the adjustment, Dr. Poff asks how you are doing/feeling and if there are any hot spots where you are experiencing increased discomfort or pain. He also gives you the option of Manual or Instrument-Impulse adjusting; as well as offers Trigger Point Therapy (massaging & loosening the muscles down your spine), right before he adjusts. And finally, you also have the option of using their Roller Bed with heat, after your adjustment. All these combined prove that this Chiropractic office is one that stands out from the rest. I had been going to a DC in San Diego 3 days a week for a pinched nerve in my neck and his adjustments hurt. He told me my weight was not a problem and no need to exercise. There was also no end in site for treatments. A mutual friend introduced me to Dr Poff at a social gathering. He impressed me right off the bat when he said 1) your weight is a problem 2) exercise would help 3) "We get you fixed up then you let me know when you need to comeback" and 4) the adjustments were never painful as Dr Poff's method seemed like he used my body weight to help make the adjustments.
