To start out with I had them come put a humidifier on my furnace a few months ago. No problems good response time in an out decent price. A couple of weeks ago my furnance went out in a saturday night. Called them up came out monday fixed a flame sensor charge over 300 dollars. The guy was in and out in 20 mins top ($ 30 - 50 part). Didnt mind the paying for the convenience. Furnance worked for a week fine. Then went out. So I personally changed the ignitor, after consulting with Google, furnance worked again for a week. Saved myself some money. Well a couple of days later there is an error code (3 red flashes, pressure switch) so i called them up, due to the fact it was Saturday and had no time to work on it myself. So this guy ignoring the error code on the ciricuit board said that there was no gas passing through the valve and that was the problem. $650 for a new gas valve, he was trying to sell me a new furnace to begin with too, he installed the gas valve turned power back on to furnance fired up( he broke the ignitor while putting on the gas valve luckily i bought two so I didnt get charged for that). Great. He went on his way and we did our Saturday running around. Got home saturday night no heat same damn error code blinking with no gas passing througn the valve. Now I'm in trades, although not in service, so i took it apon myself to learn more about furnance than i care about, all day sunday. Basically when the heater calls for gas to fire up it goes throuh a series fail safes before gas is valve is opened allowing flow through manifold to the exchanger. One fail safe is if the pressure switch is stuck closed it will not pass any gas causing it not fire up.( should be common knowledge for a heating guy i would think) Bought a new pressure switch changed it out. Fired up no problems. Now I'm pissed, so i took out the new gas valve put the old in to see if it worked. Fired right up. 4 days later fires right up. Can't get anyone to call back. The new gas valve on Internet which is universal is about $200. I have no problem paying for repair service, but I feel like the repairman was just trying to push a new sale of a furnace and was clueless on how to fix it. Needless to say i have a $650 universal gas($200 dollar value) valve sitting in my garage. Wont be using these guys ever again. NO INTEGRITY with this company. read more

Dealing with them on the phone is horrible. They seem angry just to speak to you and the lady who answers the phone is so rude. No manners and with no manners means no repeat business. I cancelled my appt last month because of how rude they treated me on the phone when I called about a question and after seeing all the bad reviews. I agree with the person from Bolingbrook. I had Integrity put a new furnace and a/c in a condo with no problems, so when my home furnace was running erratic, I called them for service, only to have paid $266. and have it working worse when he left. The tech who said he was with them two weeks said the only other problem it could be was the control board for over $700. I said I was going to check around but thought I needed it quick, because it was running more erratic after he left. I talked with the owner John who stood behind his man, and agreed that I needed the circuit board. I ordered the part on line, and had a local hvac guy install it to find out it wasn't really the problem. All it needed was a slight adjustment on the igniter. They just know how to replace parts, and not adjustments. read more

I just got my new AC and furnace installed. They arrived early just like the salesman. My only problem was with the men who install. They did not turn my pilot light back on for my hot water heater. Talk about cold showers! I asked for them not to smoke in my house or on my property. One of the men was smoking outside of my door. My daughter did pick up a cigarette bud that he threw on the ground. It angered me. Otherwise everything else went smoothly. The AC is working well on this hot day so far. read more

After I moved into my home last July, I chose Integrity to come out and install a new AC unit. My FIRST visit "seemed" to go well. The installers where fairly quick and installed the unit. I ran the unit for a full day with an in-house temp of 80 degrees. It not only never shut off, it couldn't lower the tempature one degree! I called the installation supervisor, who assured me he would personally come out on Monday to look at everything. He of course did not and instead sent another installation tech out there. After the SECOND visit, I had my wife call me after he finished, as I was at work, and he told me that everything check out fine. I then asked him why it couldnt lower it one degree. He said it was because I had a vent in the wrong place and I needed it closed up. I said sure, if that will get it going. I again ran it for a full day, and again it would not lower the temp in the house. I called the supervisor back again who told me that the big copper line in my house was bad and needed to be replaced. He told me it would cost me an additional $350 on top of the thousands I already spent. I said if I need it, I guess I need it. On the THIRD visit they actually sent out a service tech. He ran the new line into my attatched garage all the way to the blower. When He disconnected the old line, he found that the actual problem was that they INSTALLED A PART BACKWARDS!!! He changed it, and replaced the line and all was well... for now. Fast forward to June of this year. I turn on the unit and AGAIN it wount lower the tempature at all. I called and spoke to a woman and explained to her that I have a preganat wife of 6 months on bedrest and i'd like for someone to come out and service the unit...again. She told me that they could not get a technician out for 3 days. I'm not asking for special treatment, and I understand getting busy, but I just want my wife and child to be safe and healthy. This company installed the whole package Furnace/ Air Condition three years ago, also we took their yearly service. The last service was in May, 19 2016 over $200 for AC service.. In June 10, 2016 we lost the cooling, called twice and nobody return the call, then we called Monday morning 06/13/16 and gave us appointment on 06/15/16 between the hours 11:00 -14:00, called John on 06/14/16 on his cell, the outside temperature was in the 90's, he said when he goes to the office will try to see if he can gives us an earlier schedule. I call Wednesday morning to confirm the appointment and if they can make it early in the morning, then it came the surprise, they claimed we are not even scheduled and they can not take us before Friday 06/17/16 not only that but with unprofessional voice ask us not to call them again, the owner should do something to the costumer service/scheduling woman(Mona). I purchased a new HVAC system, the highest efficiency, in Nov 2014. I was told there was a 10 year warranty and in order to keep it in effect I needed to have Integrity Heating and Cooling come out once a year to clean and maintain the system. I have been doing that for the last 3.5 years. I had the AC coil go bad last summer and it was replaced under warranty. I wanted to transfer the warranty as I was selling my house & wanted the new owners to get the remaining 5 years. However, since Integrity heating and cooling failed to mention I had to register the serial numbers with the manufacturer the warranty was cut in HALF. They said it is in the fine print on the back of my receipt. I was upset that NO ONE mentioned that, of course they mentioned they needed to come out every year but not to register the serial numbers. I have to wonder how many other people have had their warranties cut in half. Alexi at Integrity said "we could be doing a better job telling people" so I imagine she gets to talk to the angry customers when they call in. I wanted to share this info so this doesn't happen to other people. read more

No Integrity at all! I would not recommend this company to anybody. Stay away from this company. I had to dispute the charge due to poor service.First, the company installed the furnace incorrectly and we were losing a lot of heat before the heat made it to the registers, due to the furnace not being sealed up properly. Second, the return air vent was not installed correctly. Third, I called Integrity to come out to clean the unit before the winter hits and after Integrity cleaned the unit, the system stop working properly. Therefore, the Integrity technician had to damage something on the unit or possibly "Rigged" the unit, so we would have to call them back to fix it and their company makes more money. I called them and they did not want to rectify their mistake. A total rip off. read more

Just had the mother board replaced on our furnace to fix our a/c and now three weeks later my A/C is not working AGAIN. And to top it off they are not returning our phone calls. AND when they finally did we got the "old death in the family" reason as to why we have to wait another two days without A/C before they will come out. The company seemed reputable at first. Doug came in and quoted me for a full replacement of a furnace and a/c unit lower than any other company. He also included on the quote a humidifier and complete duct cleaning. Installation day went well (over a holiday weekend) but tech was unable to complete job entirely. It had to be rescheduled. Was promised he would come back on Tuesday. That's when the trouble began. Somewhere between the tech telling me when he would come back and the scheduling department, we had trouble having that tech return on Tuesday. I was told by the office manager that the tech shouldn't tell the client when he's coming back since he doesn't make the schedule. I was then told that SOMEONE would arrive later that afternoon. Needless to say, nobody returned. Their excuse was that it was far too hot to have the tech go into the attic to work on the furnace/flue/roof portion of the job. They rescheduled again for during the week. Later in the week the tech arrives. He has no knowledge of the duct cleaning portion of the job that was never completed and thinks he's just there to finish the furnace portion. To no avail, I never get my free duct cleaning. It was than time to talk with the owner. After having a decent conversation and ironing out our concerns, the owner John gave us his "personal" cell phone in the event of an emergency. I had long forgot this incident until just recently when we had a storm and an issue arose with the installation of our equipment at the roof/flue. It warranted an emergency call to Integrity Heating & Cooling however we got no response. So we used our emergency lifeline "John" the owner. After several attempts to contact him, we never received 1 call. Finally, a text was sent. His response was that a tech would be out Sunday to our property. No tech arrived and we have never heard from John since. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the headache. Find a reliable company that will respond to your service calls. I am thankful this has happened now instead of the dead of winter which could have been even more tragic than the headaches we've already endured! read more

I hired Integrity for maintenance and cleaning of my air conditioner. A tech performed the work and charged me extra for installing a replacement part. After he left, I researched the installed part and labor charge and felt that I had been overcharged. I called the office and spoke to Ron, one of the managers. After stating my case, Ron examined the paperwork and promptly issued a refund for the overcharge. I received a check a few days later. Apparently, there had been some misunderstanding by the tech concerning the appropriate charge for this type of work. Ron said that he would address this issue with all of the techs. A company that was willing to admit a mistake and promptly rectify it has integrity, and I will not hesitate to call them for future work. read more

Our AC went out tonight and they were very timely and helpful and came out quickly. The only negative thing I have to say is that when we called and book the appointment the receptionist said we could use a 50 off coupon. When we tried to use it though the technician refused to let us use it because it was after hours. No where on the coupon does it say that is a stipulation. Don't be fooled by the name. It's a complete irony. The temperature was in the 90's and our ac went out so we called Integrity Heating & Cooling early in the day. She said they would be out 6:00-9:00pm. I stressed that I needed it repaired/replaced that same day and she assured me they would. Practically promised me actually. Then at 5:00pm we got a call that they were not going to come out that day because of the rain. Only problem was that there WAS NO RAIN! Rain wasn't even in the forecast by us! It never got dark, we never even got a drop of rain that day. I called them 3 times and begged to have the guy return my call but the answering service was very unpleasant and just said they would leave another message for someone to call me. Finally at almost 7:00pm I got a call - but NOT from the service guy, but instead from a very snotty girl saying she was their answering service and they were calling to reschedule but would not give me a reason why. I told her thank you for leaving us in a bind and she very happily replied that I was welcome. Very rude and unprofessional. Since there was no rain (Not even close! It was completely sunny and beautiful and no forecast of rain) so I'm assuming he just didn't feel like working and decided he wanted to go out for a beer or whatever instead. They really left us in a huge bind, as by the time they called and cancelled, everyone else was closed so it was too late to call anyone else to come out that day. Apparently they don't think much of screwing people over. They really did a number on us and I guess it goes to show that you can't believe a word they tell you. But I believe it was all meant to be so we could end up getting a reputable company to do the work. I hate to think if they did the repair/replacement since they are obviously not a company you can trust. read more

Recently purchased a new HVAC system. I obtained numerous quotes (more than 8), and they came in with the best value, a few had similar prices, but the warranty for Integrity was better so i chose them. I gave four stars instead of five as after the install was done, they had an issue with the Thermostat (I kept my old thermostat as it was better that the one that came with the system), and they couldn't get the furnace to activate from it. They let me know of the issue and said a tech would be out to fix it. They worked all day long on the install and this was their only hiccup. Also, the installer gave me his personal number in case i did not hear back from the company. Worse case scenario, i would have to use the thermostat that came with the system. I called the next day to follow-up and they had a technician come out and correct it and I was able to keep the better thermostat. So far everything is running smoothly and I am satisfied. Hope things continue on that route and they stick to their warranty. Overall, I would recommend them. read more

I had a very upsetting and disappointing experience I had with Integrity Heating and Cooling. In December 2012, I purchased a new air conditioning system. I also ensured to purchase the service policy, believing that I would have a dependable company that would service my system. Unfortunately, this proved not to be true. On June 13, 2016, during a particularly hot week in Chicago land, my air conditioning system stopped functioning; this was especially concerning to me due to my health problems. I called Integrity Heating and Cooling to make a service appointment, hoping that I would be able to acquire an appointment relatively quickly given their 24/7 publicly advertised policy. However, I attempted to call several times without being able to reach anyone or receiving a call back from the company. When I was able to finally reach a company representative I was informed that I could not have an appointment for two days. I explained that I have significant health issues and heat exacerbates my pain. The representative was unfortunately not accommodating and even after explaining my health issues I was taken aback when the representative rudely stated "take it or leave it" regarding the appointment. I agreed to the set appointment and attempted to cope with the heat the best I could. In the interim I did experience some heat distress. My husband, concerned for my health, called the owner of Integrity with the hopes of getting an earlier appointment. The owner told my husband the he would check the service schedule and call back. The owner did not call him back, so my husband called him again the following morning and was informed that our previously scheduled appointment was actually never scheduled at all. As a result of the appointment having not been scheduled we would have to wait another three days. At this point I was fearful that I would fall seriously ill and conveyed this to Integrity, the representative was very uncaring and was shockingly told to not call again. I was physically unable to wait and called Four Seasons to obtain help. Four Seasons arrived to my home within 30 minutes and fixed the problem. read more

It depends on who you get. The first time we had them to the house for our heater, the repairman came during the blizzard and fixed the issue within 15 minutes and actually apologized for having to charge us the minimum. With this good experience in mind, we called them again, and they sent someone who must have been on his second day. I took him down to the heater, and he looked around and when I asked him what was wrong, he said he wasn't sure. He then told me he needed to go out to his truck to call his boss. He returned, and told me we had a cracked heat exchanger and it was cheaper to get a new heater than to replace the heat exchanger. First of all, that's not what was wrong, and second, I didn't know people could diagnose heater problems over the phone. I paid $79 to get some clown, (he was very nice, but he knew about as much as I did) to try and sell me a new heater. Thankfully we found a nice independent contractor I'd rather give our money to in the future. Although the first repairman was good, we can't take our chances on getting the second. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my dad. He purchased an air conditioning unit from Integrity at the end of 2013. He dealt with Jason the entire time and had no issues. Then a couple weeks ago the service tech came out to do the "free" annual maintenance that he was told was included in the price of the unit when he first purchased it. First, he was told that the service tech would be there between 2pm and 4pm. At 5pm, he called the company to see where the tech was and was told he was running late. He did not show up until after 7pm! Then when he was there my dad asked him a question about a humidifier filter. The tech then told him that replacing this filter was included in the $49 maintenance fee. At that point, my dad asked what maintenance fee he was talking about since it was supposed to be "free" maintenance. The tech insisted that he had to charge him the $49 which my dad refused to pay. Later that week, my dad went to Home Depot to get the same humidifier filter. He purchased it for less than $5 and changed it himself in under a minute. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience and not what he was told he was getting when he initially purchased the unit from Integrity. read more

I purchased my furnace and AC unit 3years ago from Integrity Heating and Cooling. Last year I purchased the $ 200.00 maintenance plan that included a $89 furnace and $89 AC maintenance. I was recently told that this same program was now $300.00 or $159.00 per service. I found a coupon on Integrity's website for a $89 furnace tune up and it listed $139 as the regular price. I immediately called the office to report this discrepancy. I spoke with Mark who was pleasant but did not convince me of this Huge price increase justification. He would not honor the website coupon and said it was for non or new customers only. There was no mention of this on the coupon or site. He tried to justify the price increase by offering better maintenances and service. He was oblivious to the fact that I am a senior and felt that preferred customers should always get the better prices and deals not be penalized. I informed him that I felt like I was being overcharged, ripped off and it wasn't fair to loyal customers. I also informed him that I will be taking my business elsewhere and referring my friends and family to other companies and certainly not to Integrity Heating. Their name should be dishonesty or Deceptive Heating and cooling. They promised me the world to get my business and now they are price gauging me as my reward. I purchased an American Standard furnace and A/C unit from Integrity in February of 2015. There were a few small issues in the beginning that they fixed however they fix it when it's convenient for them and not necessarily convenient for you even though they advertise 24/7 service. But in fairness to the company they did fix the issues. When I made the purchase I was given 2 extras for free so I chose the humidifier and the 2 year maintenance plan. Again I will be the first to admit that I didn't read the fine print which states that they charge you $59 trip charge when they come out to do the annual maintenance. It seems to me that if your getting a maintenance plan the whole reason for doing that is so you don't have to pay for the maintenance for the first 2 years. When I called the company to inquire about the charge I spoke with a girl named Laurie. She explained about the trip charge and I explained how I can get a much better deal from reputable companies that advertise in the Value Pak mailer. Then to top it all off when I told her that I would not be using her company again for service she took it upon herself to cancel the rest of the contract. Lucky for me I was able to get the salesman to put in writing that I didn't have to use their company for annual maintenance to keep the warranty in effect. In closing I think that there are better companies out there that have more integrity than Integrity. One word of advise. Before you sign anything get any promises your salesperson makes in WRITING!!! read more

First of all let me start by saying the repair guy, the salesman and the techs were wonderful. It is their customer service and owner who fail big time. I don't know how they can continue calling themselves Integrity when they have none. My mother is 82 years old and had a brand new air conditioner put in on Friday 7-19-13. It went out on Friday evening. She called Saturday morning and a guy came out to look at it. He said a compassiter blew. He could not do anything until Monday. Then after several phone calls to them but not one returned he came back with the part, put it in and now the compressor was blown. Wow a brand new air conditioner with a blown compressor. Sounds like a lemon to me. I thought it would be fair for them to replace the air conditioner not just the 2 parts that were defective. The tech also thought it should be but the owner said no way. Of course not to me because he lacks customer service basic skills on making sure the customer is satisfied. He has never returned one phone call I made to him. They said no it's not there problem and blamed everything on the manufacturer. They took no responsibility what so ever. They agreed to replace the parts but come on, a blown compressor on a brand new unit. I am not vey happy with them at all. I think they should of come out with a new one and took the defective one back and handled it between themselves and the manufacturer. I have been in the business along time and that is how many companies handle customer complaints. I feel Integrity has no Integrity and they don't care about their customers. I usually don't post comments on yelp unless something went terribly wrong, but I decided to change that with this review of Integrity Heating and Cooling. Our 24 year old air conditioner needed replacement, and the 21-year-old furnace was close to it. I looked on yelp and decided to get estimates from 3 companies in my area. 2 of them were close in services, equipment and price, so the decision was difficult. I went with Integrity Heating and Cooling, and I think I made the right choice. They did everything they said they would on the original estimate, even more. They showed up on time, put down drop cloths so they would not scratch the floors or track dirt in, and did the job with efficiency and professionalism, and almost no disruption. They took out all the old equipment, installed the new, got it working perfectly before I even noticed that the house temperature had dropped by several degrees - it was a very cold day. The technician then showed me my new furnace, and how to change the air filters, and how to use the new thermostat, etc. This company also sends a supervisor within a few days to check out the installation and make sure everything is working. Anyway, I recommend Integrity for their excellent service and quality products. read more

We had the high pressure switch our new American Standard AC unit go out (purchased and installed by Integrity-AC two years ago) and a tech came to the house. Told us that our unit was dirty and that the part needed to be replaced. Was then told that our 10 year warranty was not valid (even American Standard said that they had no right to tell us that our warranty was not valid) because it was so dirty that the part failed. That left us with having to foot the bill ($460 in total for the new high pressure switch and an additional $129 to have them spray water out of our hose in the unit for two minutes). We were told the part would have to be replaced by 9am Monday morning. Ok - after at least 30 minutes of asking the tech (Jeff) where in the contract it says that our warranty could be voided by them (which he could not) we told them to get the part since it was approaching 90 degrees in the house and we would see them Monday morning. Come Monday morning no one ever showed up - no call from anyone either. Called the number and was told we were not even on the schedule. When the tech finally did arrive he proceeded to tell me that his boss forgot about us. Nice! It just got worst from there. American Standard said the warranty should have been honored, since they deemed it was impossible to accumulate the amount of dirt that would be required to cause the part to fail, but that they cannot make Integrity refund us. We went to the BBB and Integrity only offered a refund for the cost of the part ($240). We were not satisfied with this result and the BBB closed our case without resolution. Integrity Heating and Cooling clearly has no integrity and tries to scam customers this way. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. The recent reviews speak volumes about how this company treats its customers. I would classify their owner, John Jordan, as a dirty business man who does not understand the customer service part of running a business. read more

I would highly recommend this company, however I would NOT recommend the sales person I had. Jason Rubio seemed very nice and knowledgeable when he came to give my estimate, however he totally flaked when it was time to set up the install. I called and set the date and time (about 2 weeks prior) but never got any confirmation call the day before and when I called him, he said he had forgotten to write up the order so there was no equipment or installers available. I gave them another chance and set up the install for 2 weeks later. My installers Ryan and Tim were great and seemed to know exactly what to do. I then found out that my salesperson had ordered the wrong size air conditioner and when I called him on this he said he had ordered the right one and did not remember that I had requested another size. Lucky for me, I had the email proving we had discussed it and I went to John the owner, who was very professional and immediately sent out the correct unit. There was also additional work that the sales person did not list (condensate pump, since I had no drain), and therefore the installers were there way longer than they should have been. I would gladly consider Integrity for my future healing/cooling needs, however... My sales person was highly unprofessional and unorganized, and I would NOT consider using him again. read more

I never thought I would find myself writing a review. Here I am! My first warning to any of you thinking about using this company for service STOP NOW! I had a routine service call to check and make sure the unit is in working order. My air was on as it was almost 100 degrees this past Saturday. The "kid" came and went to work and I stayed inside. He came in to turn my air off and said "my unit has a short and it turning itself off"? He said that" my unit's numbers were opposite of how they should read". He went on to say "it may be the AC coil or the unit itself". The cost for repair depending on what needed to be done would cost anywhere from 900 to 3000 thousand dollars for repair! He said I could call anyone for a second opinion and would get the same answer. So I did. Guess what, there is nothing wrong with my air conditioning unit! The new company (who I will be dealing with going foreword) said the kid may have had his equipment on wrong. Maybe that's the reason for the "opposite number read out" don't you think? So, I paid this gentlemen for the correct service. I called Integrity this A.M. to request a refund. First she could not understand who gave this "technician" the right to charge me $79.99 dollars instead of the $89.99 ? I said " I don't know maybe he took pity on me and how was that my problem?" She was of course forwarding this to the manager who would call me when they could because" it's warm out and they are busy" I called after work and gave my name and waited, I was hung up on 3 times! When she finally could handle a phone call without hanging up she said she was the manager and I was not entitled to a refund because the "kid" serviced my unit and gave me a break! I said because of his diagnosis I was forced to call in another person AND pay a second time! Only to find out I had no problems with my air conditioner! She said he cleaned the unit. I ask you... if he came in and shut it off and I was inside not to see what the heck he was doing and the air was shut off by him saying" it was not working correctly" and was not turned on again until the next day by a legit guy form another company ... how do I know what that "kid" did out there? I stopped payment on my check, and tried to file a complaint with the BBB. I will continue to find what ever avenues I can to get the word out. Plus, tell everyone I come in contact with about this ridiculous company's service! The service is poor. Management that does not listen to a customer, hangs up on them multiple times and questions" why the customer called for another opinion after it was said to them", then refuses to refund your money! Two weeks ago, Integrity came out to do a clean and check on the A/C system in my house. We have used Integrity in the past and was aways satisfied with their service, until now. During the process, the tech sprayed something on the coils of the condenser and when he rinsed it off, some of the coating on the coils also washed off leaving a blotchy mess. The next day I noticed that some of the finish on the utility room storm door was also washed off. The tech must've sprayed the door too, and when it rained that night, the finish was washed off where the tech had splashed it with the product he used. After 3 phone calls to Integrity to speak to the owner, and a promise that he would call me, nothing. He did not return my phone calls, even when I complained to the BBB. I thought I had found a reputable company but I guess I did not. I will never use Integrity again and I will tell everybody I know not to use them either. It's true what is said, that a disatisfied customer will tell more people than a satisfied customer. I don't know how these companies stay in business. read more
