DO NOT USE INTEGRITY FOR MAINTENANCE! Their whole scheme is to install a new furnace or AC unit then try to con you into joining their "club". No one needs this level of maintenance on new equipment and it's expensive! Only thing more expensive is a maintenance call. I paid $270 for guy to come over for less than 30 min to clean off a sensor. Called their office about pricing, would not budge, $270. NEVER AGAIN. Should have known as looking back they tried repeatedly to STEAL my ComEd rebate when I bought my new furnace from them, unbelievable. Customer is entitled to that rebate, WHAT A SCAM. Be shrewd when you deal with them and never use them for maintenance calls, many more reputable and cheaper companies out there. read more

Integrity finally came back to fix the heating duct

So our furnace was making a lot of noise and my parents who are elderly called this company to come out and take a look at it. The guy that came out advised them that they needed a new induction motor and that they would be better off just buying a whole new unit since this one was "so old" they quoted them a new unit for around $2800 and if they just wanted to replace the motor that would cost them $980 plus labor for removal and replacement of motor. Now I went out and bought the motor for $168 and was able to replace it myself. Now I'm not against anybody making some money that is businesses do. However to charge $800 markup On parts I believe is excessive i don't know if they thought just because my parents are older they can take advantage of them they are mistaken "Integrity" needs to change their name there is no integrity here read more

One of the worst experiences with this company. I had a heating problem couple of months back. My husband called this company and a service guy came and changed ignition system and added a booster and told us the furnace is almost dying and we need a new furnace and gave us estimate for it. First time he charged us $450 for a $30 part...3 weeks back the furnace died again and he changed some thing and charged us $330 and told that the blower is dying and to replace they would charge us $650..or replace the furnace which is the best option...the furnace died again 2 days after. This time I called a handy man to take a look at it. he checked and said all it needed was a tune up and he changed the filter..been running fine since then. I would HIGHLY recommend this company! I am in the process of selling my late mother's house. When I got to the home a day after Christmas it was 40 degrees inside and the furnace motor was seized up. It was also -14 degrees outside. The technician quickly came and assessed the situation and was honest with me. I could wait till Tuesday to get the new motor installed or get a whole new unit. Given that the temperatures were going to be in the negatives the rest of the weekend I did not want to take a chance of my pipes freezing. He called the office and a team of installers were at the house within an hour replacing the unit. I just had the home inspection and it passed with flying colors. I am extremely happy and the installers were polite, respectful and professional. read more

Don't be fooled by the name. These guys have no integrity!! They will fleece you. I had them over to fix a furnace. They quoted me a price of over $1,000 and after haggling they lowered it to a price of $905 (below which the guy said he would get fired). It was after hours and I figured even if I overpaid a little it was ok. The guy said that they don't charge extra just because it was after hours and that they were very competitive when I asked him numerous times. Either way, it was getting late and they also had a $80 fee to come out. So I figured if I called someone else, it would just add up. Later I found out that something like this just costs $300-500 vs. the $905 they charged!! The motor they put is probably cost around $100, but the rest was just for putting it in! Over 2 to 3 times more than market!!! What a rip-off. After I complained, the office manager simply kept saying how they were good and stood by the work etc etc, but that was it. On March 10, 2018 I purchased a furnace and central air conditioner. On May 26th (77 days later) the air conditioner compressor started making a horrible noise and the house was no longer cooling down. This is when my ordeal began. May 26th Day 1 (91°): Called in for service and we were told they could send out a technician on Thursday May 31st. I understand that they were busy because it was the start of the Memorial Day weekend and a heatwave; however 5 days to wait on a brand new unit seemed a little extreme. We reluctantly agreed. May 27th Day 2 (96°): We called two different service companies who explained to us that they could come out and repair the unit and parts would be covered under our 10 year warranty, but we would have to pay for labor. Integrity stated in our paperwork that we get a 10 year parts and labor warranty. When both companies were willing to come out that day we wondered how come Integrity could not accommodate our needs, but a competitor could? We called back and they "had some cancellations" so now they could move us to Monday the 28th. May 28th Day 3 (95°): The technician came out and diagnosed the problem as a blown compressor. Since the warehouse was closed for the holiday, they did not know the status of the part. I asked if we could get an appointment set for either Tuesday or Wednesday and he said "no" because of the part. I said, "I have to believe that there is a compressor somewhere within the Chicago/Indiana area. Can we please just set an appointment assuming the part will be available?" I was still told "no". May 29th Day 4 (92°): I called Integrity at around 11:00am. I was told they were still trying to locate my part. I did some research and found a parts supplier on the American Standard website and I gave them a call. The supplier told me they have the part in stock and could have it available by 3:00pm on Wednesday at the local branch. I called Integrity back at around 1:30pm and let them know I found the part and they told me they would "pass the information along." At around 3:00pm I got a call from Integrity and they said they ordered my part and they would have it by 3:00pm on FRIDAY. "Wait, I just found it and can have it tomorrow, why do we have to wait until Friday?" I questioned. "Well, we get our parts from a different branch." At this point I knew they were stringing me along. How can I, a nobody in the heating and cooling world, find a part from a factory recommended supplier and get it in 1 day and they can't? June 1st Day 7 (87°): I did not receive a call from Integrity so I called them after 3:00pm. When I inquired about the status of the part they said they "did not have it and they had no additional information." I was still not allowed to make an appointment. June 4th Day 10 (81°): After work I checked my voicemails and discovered that Integrity called me 3 times. The first message was that they would come out between 8 and 10 on Tuesday. The second message was that they booked that slot but had an 11 to1 slot open. By the time I received these messages I knew it was too late to book it and I didn't know if I could accept it anyway because both of these times were during my work day. June 5th Day 11 (83°): Integrity called me on my way to work and notified me that they tried to contact me a number of times and that both time slots were now filled. When I asked her what the next open time slot was she said she didn't know and she would have to get back to me. Wait, why are you calling me then if you have no other appointments available? I guess she just wanted to make it clear that they HAD an opening and I blew it? A new appointment was never made and I did not receive another phone call. When I got off work I called one of the previous companies that said they can help me, but I would have to pay for labor. I asked if they could fix it quickly and after 5:00pm so I could be available. They told me that they would check on the part and call me back. A few minutes later my phone rang and they said "yes" we can pick up the part tomorrow and be at your house and get it done. June 6th Day 12 (81°): My AC is repaired by a different company and it only took 1 phone call and was done in less than 24 hours. I spent a substantial amount of money to replace my furnace and AC and I would have gladly spent it elsewhere had I know this is how I would be treated. What good is a warranty if they never come out to honor it? Maybe if I was willing to pay them to come out they would have been more receptive to me, but since I'm a warranty customer or $0 sale I became easier to push to the back of the line. I was never disrespectful or rude at any time that I called, yet I was never properly serviced on this issue. My wife and I both asked to speak to the owner and we were never obliged. As I write this review, Integrity Heating and Cooling still have not contacted me about resolving this matter and I don't know if they ever will. read more

I had my furnace and York AC unit replaced by American Standard units a week ago. So far they are working great. Integrity Heating and Cooling were fantastic to work with. We had our old 25+ year old units replaced by two installers who did the change quickly. Good guys, happy to answer questions and some of the best pricing and payment flexibility around. Met with the Owner in 2010 and had our heating and cooling system replaced with 10-year parts and labor warranty for both the furnace and the A/C but recently found out that they had installed a 5-year warranty A/C unit so the evaporator fan coil is not covered. Cannot get the Owner to call me back to discuss what is covered now but I have a signed contract from them that says 10-year warranty as mentioned so always do your due diligence as this company lacks integrity. read more

I really don't know how to rate my total experience, but in the end, it has not made me too happy. First of all, I had a sales rep, Bill, out to my house to quote me on replacing my furnace and possibly my ac unit as well. After speaking of what my needs were, he gave me a quote for a furnace and A/C unit that we agreed on and signed the paperwork. Bill then mentioned that there is a promotion at the time for a you pick 3 FREE (Remember that last word). After speaking with Bill, we decided to add the humidifier, UV Air Treatment, and 2 year Silver Maintenance Program. We were very happy that we can add these options at no additional charge to us with their current promotion. Signed the quote and set the date for installation. On 8/14, two gentlemen from Integrity came out to my house to install the system. Both guys were very professional and nice. I asked them lots of questions and they answered without any issues. They left my house just as clean as it was before they came in. System was tested and we were happy when they left. About two weeks later, I receive a letter from Integrity thanking me for choosing Integrity and attached is the copy of the Silver Maintenance Plan that was included in my purchase. Yes, it says INCLUDED. As I look at the Silver Maintenance Program, it gives me information about my systems and then in red bold letters is says "$59.00 travel expense, or current rate is required at each visit to cover fuel, vehicle and misc. costs". OK. How is this program free then, if I have to pay $59.00 each time? Fine. I read it, did not make me happy, but decided to call Integrity to find out what is going on. I started off by emailing the person who sent me the letter, since his phone number was not on here. I emailed John Jordan (Installation Manager, and what I was told by someone at integrity is the President of the company) on August 30th and September 5th. I received no response from him. I decided to call Integrity and was told that he is not good at checking/responding to emails. Good thing they left that email address on the letter. I have made 4 calls to Integrity to find out what they can do about it. The first time, I spoke to someone in the evening and they said that they would call me back the next day and I never got a call back. I called back two more times and both times, I was told that they would have to have someone else call me back regarding this since who I spoke to was just the receptionist. I called back yesterday morning and spoke to the dispatch manager who told me that she has to meet with the President of the company that day anyways and will call me back that day. She promised me, even though it was in a real snotty voice. She told me that it helps pay for the service with fuel charges. Doesn't make sense that it says free everywhere and now I have to pay a travel expense. I did not sign anything saying that I would have to pay anything and there was nothing that stated this. Overall, my install experience was great, but the communication after I spent so much money with a company has just been awful. Really not sure if I am happy I went with them. It was close between the two and the you pick three FREE was actually the reason that I went with Integrity because I thought I was getting more bang for my buck. read more

They said for $150.00 per year, my air furnace and air conditioner would be covered labor and parts for ten years. In the fifth year they said this program is no longer available and doubled the price to $300.00. My brother in the same town is on the $150.00 program plus they did a poor job on insulation and they had me change my reviews to American Standard, which I should not have done. I invited Integrity heating & cooling to my home for a free quote on a Furnace and air conditioner. A salesman called me to confirm a 2pm apt. and on time Jason Rubio showed up. He was well dressed and right away he went to work, He inspected my current heating and cooling system, he measured my home so he can give me a system that was correct for my home. After the brief inspection we sat down and right off the bat he presented me with a better business report and prof of insurance and there bond rating which was a nice way to start off are chat. I was given a couple of options and I was pleased with his Quote but I had other Heating company's coming to give me a Proposal for the same American Standard system and he stated if there is a lower proposal to give him a call and he will work with me. So a week later after several proposal's I called Jason back and he did beat the lowest proposal and then some with a complete air duct cleaning a 10 year warranty and a 5 year silver Maintenance plan. Also a free American standard humidifier. No other company came close to there proposal. So I decided to go with Integrity, they also did all the paper work on all the rebates to make this so easy for me. On Saturday morning 7:20am the installer showed up, Mark Lojek and he went right to work.Mark did a great job very well. You can tell he was a professional all the metal work and plumbing was done perfect. He knew the American Standard comfort R, 2 stage variable speed system well. Mark completed the job in one day but had to return because I needed to update the thermostat to a 5 wire system and I only had 4 wires. but no big deal Jason supplied me with the cable because of the way it was installed from the home builder a electrician had to be called. and it was my option to do it that way. After I had the wire in place I called Jason first thing in the morning and by 10:00am Mark came back out and the thermostat was installed and done by 11:00am. My home had spots that were cold in the winter and warm in the summer this system has corrected my problem I will recommend Integrity heating & cooling to you they make sure you are 100 %satisfied . read more

I recently called Integrity after hearing a commercial on the radio. The guy came out on time for the estimate and said that they could work with the TINY space that my furnace was currently in (another company told me that we were going to have to move our hot water heater and get a custom furnace made). Two days later we had a new AC and furnace, humidifier, etc. The guys were very pleasant, professional and efficient; they cleaned up after themselves, walked me through the operations of the new equipment and were on their way. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I contacted this crooked outfit to service my heater and was talked in paying 299.00 for a year warranty. After they left my heater broke down and I didn't like the way they hustled me for a service fee. I fired them and called them personally that I did not want they services and they could keep the 299.00. They called me 2-3 different times asking me if they could come out and service my heater. I said no, I fired you guys. Some lady called me around a month or two ago asking me if I wanted service and again I told her I fired you guys. Next thing I know there's a charge in my credit card for 299.00. I was livid, I called them and the lady that I talked to lied to me and said that I couldn't make up my mind so she assumed I wanted to renew the contract!! I never knew there was a contract for eternity. This place is a crooked business that I'm going to the states attorney on. Filing a report with the BBB, and my attorney will be contacting them. Do not trust this company they installed a aftermarket AC coil not an original American Standard coil ( THAT IS A FACT ) so it cant be warrantied . They installed aftermarket parts to keep the cost lower than the competition and never told me it was a aftermarket coil . Sales: Integrity sells American Standard. I spoke to Jason over the phone and sealed the deal over the phone. I was a little leary on inking a deal over the phone on a new furnace and A/C but I knew exactly what I needed because I had quotes from other HVAC installers on comparable Lennox systems. My co-corker recommended them to me and said that they did a great job and they were very knowledgeable. Jason didn't waste my time and I didn't waste his when talking about price. There are currently utility rebates available that they take care of, which I found very nice. Install: Mike and Junior were fantastic. The scope of the job entailed: removal of a late 90's early 2000 Ducane furnace and A/C, cap off the flue, remove an old humidifier, install a humidifier, install a PVC exhaust pipe, install a mini sump, install a wifi thermostat, install a UV lamp, adjust the plenum to accomodate the different furnace, and clean the ductwork. The install was fantastic. They left the basement clean and everything works like a charm. 5 stars for Jason, Mike, and Junior. I recommend them to anyone. job entailed removal of a late read more

Called to look at a issues with ac not working (system is three years old and installed by them), was told that they couldn't honor warranty from previous owner because they didn't pay 300 dollars a year for a service. Also, women was very rude and told me that it was 159 dollars just to walk in door to tell me what was wrong. I've heard of many class action suits against them from previous employees who worked for them. Glad to use someone else. read more

I probably cannot say enough bad things about my experience with "Integrity" Heating & Cooling so I will start with the little bit of good there was. First, the woman I spoke with to set an appointment was incredibly nice and helpful. Second, scheduling was not a problem, despite the time of year. However, that's where the good ended. The technician was a few minutes late, which I totally would not have cared about. When he arrived, he spent a few extra minutes sitting in his van in my driveway. I went to the door twice to open it and realized he was still sitting in the van both times. I assumed he was reviewing the appointment details. I was wrong. Apparently he was finishing a smoke. When he came in, he showed made no attempt to introduce himself and made no attempt to wipe his feet, despite the fact that I was obviously installing new flooring. He asked me what he was doing there. I responded that I had scheduled a cleaning/inspection using a coupon I had found. When he saw my furnace, he told me that it was so old that he had never encountered one before. After removing the panel, he told me that he was not going to clean it, he was going to test for carbon monoxide because he had been seeing a lot of CO issues with these furnaces lately (see earlier comment about how he'd never seen this kind of furnace before). I told him that was not necessary as my home inspector had tested for it. He told me that the inspector did it incorrectly and started testing. He immediately told me that CO levels were 3ppm, bordering on 4 and life threatening to my family. He asked me for the square footage of my home and placed a call. It sounded like he was ordering a new furnace for installation - without my consent! I had to interrupt his call to tell him that I was not purchasing a new furnace. He told "his boss" that I could not afford a new furnace, completely disregarded me, discussed the 4ppm CO readings, and eventually hung up. I asked him to go ahead and do the cleaning/tune up since he was already out there and that was what I had scheduled. He responded that his boss told him to charge me the coupon plus a service call if he did. I began to ask him to explain why and he snapped, "Fine, I'll clean it for you!" He used his shop vac to blow dust out of the furnace and put the door back on. He told me that he was legally required to shut my furnace off to prevent my family from "ending up dead" and told me a story about another family with the same furnace (I guess he had seen them before afterall...) where the son ended up hospitalized with CO poisoning. He told me to head to the emergency room if any of us developed a headache. On his way out, he said my furnace had just popped because the heat exchanger was bad. What I got for my $89 was a high-pressure sales pitch, dust on my floor, and my furnace turned off in winter. What I didn't get was: the tune-up I paid for, any diagnosis of the issue causing the alleged carbon monoxide leak, common courtesy, or respect. Immediately after paying for the service I didn't receive, I called a competitor. The guy could have been an honest jerk rather than a manipulative salesguy (what works better than invoking the safety of a mother's children?). I asked the competitor if they could verify the readings and diagnose the issue. Within two hours, that company had a technician out there who could not detect carbon monoxide in any of the places Integrity's tech claimed there were life threatening readings. Further, he INSPECTED the furnace. Using a flexible camera and taking it apart as needed, he visually inspected the entire furnace including the heat exchanger and showed me his findings. His diagnosis? The furnace is older, but safe and in good working order. It is likely to require replacement in the next few years, but not now. There were no dangerous or life threatening levels of carbon monoxide anywhere in my home. And my family was most certainly not in danger of "ending up dead." I am so angry that I am considering filing a report with the BBB and I've thought about calling "Integrity" back to see if I can get reimbursed for the services I didn't receive. read more

I am only giving one star because Yelp says you need to! DO NOT call this company!! I called them and they came out. The guy said we needed two part which was almost $700 dollars. He said we may need a new furnace in a few days or a year. Three days later at 3am my furnace went completely out. I called them and they wanted me to know that if they came out there was going to be another charge. I decided to go with another company. The other company came out and I showed them the work order so they would know what was just done. The first piece I paid $368 dollars for a piece they charge $67 dollars for. They also found they put the wrong piece in the furnace and jammed it in , shorting it out. They we're trying to short my furnace out so they could replace it when it did not need to be replaced. I called the office manager and spoke with her ( full of personality) but assured me the owner would call me back. They are now not returning my calls. I asked her how they could charge that much more for service and she said all place up charge. I would not recommend this place to your worst enemy! These people are the worst type of humans! I live in Orland Park. Last year I had A/C cooling problem. Because of name "Integrity", I called integrity Heating& Cooling people to come for repair. Not sure what the service man did but within short time the problem was back. I called them but I was told that there is NO warranty/guarantee for the work so you need to pay again. We purchased a furnace, water heater, central a/c system and whole house humidifier about 30 months ago. I like the equipment that was used but the install was lacking. For example, the A/C compressor was installed on type of a plastic pad, but neither the pad nor the unit was secured to the ground. The unit is held in place by the copper tubing the refrigerant flows through only. When we called for warranty service for this issue we were told to expect a call back. Not so much. Fast forward 2 years. The hot water heater that was still under warranty was giving us problems. When we called for service they were ready to dispatch a tech until we mentioned the warranty. We were then told that we would receive a call back. Not so much. Can you see a pattern? You can probably do worse but don't believe their name. Not calling back on warranty calls lacks integrity. read more

Read This First!!!!! During this past heat wave which started July 16th, I called several places and integrity was the one I could get out the soonest. Well the quickest is not always the best!! The guy came out the next morning and checked out that my a/c was not working. YES I already knew that. He flipped a few switches and said my condensor was fried and I needed an entire new a/c unit. I said well how much is that gonna cost? He looked at me and replied....A Lot! I blew it off, we went back up from the basement out to the actual unit, he looked at a few more things and said yes I need a new unit, I said AGAIN, well give me a ball park, are we talking 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, just give me an idea!!!! and he snickered again and said a lot, do you want me to go out to the truck and get some pricing? Well my husband heard this as he was leaving for work and was very upset that all I got was a snicker after I asked for a ball park price, and said to me, pay the man his trip charge and send him on his way, Thank you for your time!! We called someone else recommended by a friend, he came out the next day and said he could re-build our compressor for approx. $1800.00, and take the chance it will last another couple years, or I can install a new one for about 5K. WELL THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING OUR QUESTION! We opted for having it re-built and taking our chances and he had it done the next day. WHY couldn't Integrity give us that option? I never did get any kind of price even though before the guy left he said he'd have someone call me, which never happened. I will try and file a complaint against the BBB for my trip charge, what did I pay a trip charge for??? to tell me my unit didn't work? My neighbor had referred us to this company because they had a positive experience. It started off great. The sales rep was on time and thorough. He gave us a couple different options and we ended up setting a time up for an install. The install went great. They showed up on time at 7:30am like they said and they were done by 4:30pm. They cleaned up everything and were very professional. We wrote them a check and once it was cashed that's when the problems started. This is why they get 2 stars. For the beginning stages. Definitely not for their customer service. Since we live in Indiana, we had to fill out our nipsco rebate form ourselves. First, I needed an invoice to include with our rebate application to show we were paid in full. So I asked our sales rep and he told me to just use our contract with the circled option. No. We couldnt do that because it needed to say we were paid in full. So they ended up mailing us an invoice a week later after asking multiple times. Next, we needed a certificate number to put on this application so I had called and spoke to the receptionist, who were all very nice, and she informed me someone would call me back by the end of the day the next day. No one called. So for 4 weeks I called twice a week to speak with someone and every time they said someone would call me back and never did. I only needed this simple number so my rebate didn't get denied because I only had a 60 day window to do this. After calling the 7th or 8th time and constantly asking for the office manager, the last time she finally got on the phone. This office manager is newer and was the most incredibly rude person I had ever talked to. How she is a manager at this place is beyond me. It took her forever to get me the number in my file and made it into a way bigger deal then it needed to be. She had told me that she personally put this number in the mail and now 3 weeks since that happened I have yet to see anything in my mail box. In that 4 week period I had also emailed our sales rep to see if he could help me and he also never responded to the 2 emails. When the sales rep came to give us a quote he left a folder with all their information. In that folder it included a referral card saying if you refer someone you will get 100$ after installation. My neighbor referred us and we had our install done in May. It is now July and they keep telling her her check is in the mail to go out and have been telling her this for the past month. Just beware of how they treat you after they get your money. We have maintenance included in our option we picked and I'm worried that we won't even get that because of all this that has gone on afterwards. read more

Integrity Heating and Cooling installed a new furnace upstairs for us and vented it into our fireplace flue. We wanted some repairs done to our chimney and fireplace and when the fireplace companies saw the vent into our flue, they were appalled and told us not to use the fireplace until the upstairs furnace was vented properly and safely by installing a b vent that goes through our roof. Unknown to us, all emissions from the upstairs furnace could be coming down the flu into our first floor, potentially deadly situation. We didn't hire Integrity because of their price. We had estimates from several companies, and they were in the middle. We hired them because, after doing a bit of research, we found that the AC unit they were planning to install was considered to be of high quality, and it came with a good warranty. I will say this about Integrity: they're pretty friendly, and their workers are polite. That said, we would never hire this company again. First, one of the workers, who was very young and clearly had no idea what he was doing, accidentally punched a giant hole in the back wall of our house. He felt terrible about it, and because the hole only went to a crawl space that had been blocked off by the back wall, we let it go. He and the other workers covered it up with a sheet of aluminum, and we wrote it off as a stupid mistake that anyone could have made (although, if I'm being honest, that probably wasn't the case). Second, there's something wrong with the installation these guys performed. They spread some black putty around the hole they drilled in the wall of our furnace, and it's very obvious they spread it too thin. There are noticeable burn marks around the hole, and we're not sure why. It doesn't look safe. We spent a month and a half trying to reach somebody from the office. We sent 10 or 11 emails, with photos, to multiple people, including the owner, office manager, and lead installer on the job. We spoke with somebody in the office on three or four occasions. The owner responded to one email, and when he did all he said was that he'd call me the next day. Of course, he never did. . . but after trying and trying, we were finally able to pin down the office manager, who arranged for somebody to come out and look at the problem (which he agreed, after looking at the photos we sent him, actually did exist). Cut to today. The person "scheduled" (note the quotes) was supposed to get here nearly two hours ago. I called the office, spoke to someone and asked them to try and see where this person was, but they told me they don't use the phone to get hold of their people. All they could do, they told me, was email their office manager. Needless to say, I thought that was a little strange. I did receive a call from the office manager, who said they would try and figure out what was going on. A little while later, the "scheduled" installer called my wife and told her he was about an hour and 10 minutes away. . . and double-booked. If it turns out he does get here when he says he will, he will have been nearly three hours late. I haven't even mentioned the fact that we still have to use a window air conditioner in one of our bedrooms. This might not be because of anything these guys did, however. It might be because the ductwork in our house, which was already in place prior to the installation, is not so good. Still, though, it doesn't seem like this should be the case. The long and the short of it is that we will never hire Integrity again. We want someone to come and check out our ductwork (which we thought Integrity did when they first gave us the estimate but whatever) to see why we still have to use a window unit in one of our bedrooms. On Sat. Feb.29th my furnace wood not start up I spoke to supervisor and he said sending repair man I said the trouble light blinks 4 times each time that's a place to start but I see the problem is a maintenance issue. So when repair man got to my house him and his boss was on the phone speaking very low so I could not hear. So he removed cover looked on the back where it tells what the problem is replaced the part and the furnace worked better than even did from new. Then he said to me temperature was down to 15 degrees last and said burned out the part I said with new part installed I thank old part was bad from new because furnace would start and stop over & over I though it was something new for it to do. Repairman said your air return clogged where is it I said I have six eight inch ones then do you have some heat vents closed I said no then he said it that four inch filter system I said is not. Then he said I am going to tell my boss that you said your going to punch me in the face I said I did not say that he thought for a min and said just kidding. I am 78 yrs old he is about 35 bad call on his part. then he said here is how it is because we did not clean your unit American Standard will not pay for repair I said my cousin is licensed HVAC repair man he now works for Jewel food repairing there units in Melrose IL. he said still does not matter we did not clean your unit. Then he tells me service call is $98.00 and with part and labor is $398.00 total or you can take our maintenance plan for $300.00+ service call for $98.00 for total $398.00 so I took the plan and he said now American Standard would pay for repair. So about a week later I cancelled the plan never got my money back and never any maintenance. So if they hold my warranty hostage so that I would take there maintenance plan I thank that's called Extortion that company should not be called Integrity. Now I am sending this letter to American Standard ,to all tv stations states attorney, BBB, and take them to small claims court. read more

This company is the worst. Purchased two top of the line furnaces and air conditioners. Good units- American Standard but Integrity has done a very poor job servicing the products. They want to nickel and dime you on service for their errors. Last time they even trashed my new carpeting but refused to reimburse for the carpet cleaners. I'll make a long story short; If they have to tell you that they have integrity...they probably don't. The salesman arrived over an hour before the agreed upon time, then he proceeded to incorrectly measure the opening where the furnace was going, Subsequently, the unit didn't fit. Then the installers tried a bait-and-switch. In the end, the work was sloppy, the contract wasn't filled out correctly, etc.....Need I say more? Bottom line; These folks are a combination of crooked and incompetent....Do yourself a favor, and take your business elsewhere. read more

First I have several really good things to say: The service was prompt. They were able to come quickly and the technician was very nice, competent and seemed to know what he was doing. When the technician left I still did not have heat because I needed some electrical work. The tech said everything was ready to go and after the electrician came it would work. Well it didn't and when I called Integrity back asking to speak to the tech by phone or have him come back they refused. They told me I would have to wait 2 days and would get a different tech. Their techs were not permitted to call even tho he had been here 2 hours earlier! So, $422 for Integrity and $709.99 for the electrician I still don't have any heat and its 34 degrees. After much ado the electrician found a wire that Integrity had left hanging. He connected the wire and the miracle of heat flowed. I was charged $393 for a part that cost $56 and was not able to get reimbursed for it because it was 7X the cost. When I called to complain the manager said they charge what they charge and that indeed they are more expensive because they have a larger staff that enables them to provide emergency service when others cannot. I guess when you find a widowed senior its OK to just charge them 7X the price and this is acceptable business practices, as long as you also give them a coupon for $50 off. This whole experience took from 9am until 6:15pm. It really leaves me feeling bad about myself for being so desperate and gullible. Thanks Integrity, at least I have heat. read more

we were referred to Integrity by my father for a great price on a new furnace. our salesperson was extremely nice and friendly. We got fast service when we decided on one and had it installed. However after that it all went downhill. It was installed incorrectly - after they spent 7 hours at my house. That night no heat. They never called us back that Saturday night. The owner showed up on Sunday to fix the problem but still stinks to spend the night w/out any heat . Then after the furnace only being a year old it broke down. They said they had 24/7 service -they don't. Someone answers the phone and they don't call back. After 3 phone calls they finally showed up. Our house was now at 40 degrees during the famous "polar vortex" They did fix our furnace for free under warranty however when I called to discuss all the issues I have had with this brand new furnace the owner blew it off. He kept telling me to call the manufacturer its not his fault. however they recommended i buy this great high efficiency furnace which has had more problems then my old 25 year old furnace. I tried to work it out with the owner and then he told me if I wrote bad reviews about his company he wouldn't service our furnace anymore because that isn't right that I express the truth in his service - but I guess its OK if he provides bad customer service. yes they came out within 12 hours and yes they fixed it for free. However the owner's attitude about customer service is awful. he keeps blaming the manufacturer and now that he has our money he could care less about it. He skated around the fact that no one called us back after our 2am call and never really addressed it. I guess because he is all warm in his house while we are sleeping with 3 layers of clothes on and gloves. However he thinks servicing within 12 hours on the coldest day of the year is excellent in the service industry. Wow. Then he threatens to not fix the product he warrantied because i am stating the truth about what happened. The service tech the fourth time we had was probably the best. NICE, Knowledgeable and VERY outgoing. The first time - the guys installed it incorrectly, the second tech came to my house with the FLU -, the third tech that came and did nothing but lied on his notes and finally the last tech being the best. I also found out that the part that broke on my furnace was faulty from the manufacturer. a good company would have done a recall on it and fixed it before it went out on the coldest days of the year. I guess integrity doesn't stand behind their products. They sell it -recommend it - take your money and say well "not my problem - " blame the guy that made it. Love it! read more

I had just purchased a new AC unit from Integrity in mid May 2016. A week later the unit was not working and was blowing warm air so called the company and they sent Rafael to inspect it and he said that there was a leak and the freon had to be replaced. How could you have a leak in a brand new unit?? Then a day later the air conditioning is blowing hot air again. Then tried calling, emailing, left voicemails to Jason and John the owner. And no response. Tried doing this for 3 days. Now I am going to file a petition with the Inspector General for Fraud. If any of you have a bad experience and would like to write a bad report/affidavit that you had with this company, you could write me an email on here or you can file a petition with the Inspector General Fraud department for them to investigate the business and personal dealings of this company. Also let the manufacturer of the company they installed know of the fraud. read more

Its unfortunate that there some bad reviews as with yelp. My experienced was great! I had them installed my AC/furnace 2015. Im writing now because i wanted to give it time for everything settled in. Its still working great! I did called around 6-8 places and most of them always tried to include extra charges and fees for things that wasn't necessary and Integrity didn't push anything toward me or tried to tell me that i needed new pipes and that i can use my old ones. It just needed a good flush out first and all is good. He was right. Didn't need it. The techs came by and installed both systems and it was done very professional and they were very pleasant to deal with. They did initially deliver the wrong furnace but made it right by going back to get the right now with proof of purchase that I ordered the other model. Other than that. Great product and service and not to mentioned. Fair prices! Many other places were placing a premium on nonsense stuff and jacking up their cost. read more

I scheduled an appointment with this company to receive an estimate for a new furnace and ac unit. In fact, I took a half day off work to make sure I was available, to no avail because their technician did not show up! When I called to inquire as to the delay they informed me that I did not have an appointent, yet they had all of my contact information in their system. I proceeded to ask if I did not have an appointment why woud my information be in your system, she then apologized and said it must be a system mistake. To start out with I had them come put a humidifier on my furnace a few months ago. No problems good response time in an out decent price. A couple of weeks ago my furnance went out in a saturday night. Called them up came out monday fixed a flame sensor charge over 300 dollars. The guy was in and out in 20 mins top ($ 30 - 50 part). Didnt mind the paying for the convenience. Furnance worked for a week fine. Then went out. So I personally changed the ignitor, after consulting with Google, furnance worked again for a week. Saved myself some money. Well a couple of days later there is an error code (3 red flashes, pressure switch) so i called them up, due to the fact it was Saturday and had no time to work on it myself. So this guy ignoring the error code on the ciricuit board said that there was no gas passing through the valve and that was the problem. $650 for a new gas valve, he was trying to sell me a new furnace to begin with too, he installed the gas valve turned power back on to furnance fired up( he broke the ignitor while putting on the gas valve luckily i bought two so I didnt get charged for that). Great. He went on his way and we did our Saturday running around. Got home saturday night no heat same damn error code blinking with no gas passing througn the valve. Now I'm in trades, although not in service, so i took it apon myself to learn more about furnance than i care about, all day sunday. Basically when the heater calls for gas to fire up it goes throuh a series fail safes before gas is valve is opened allowing flow through manifold to the exchanger. One fail safe is if the pressure switch is stuck closed it will not pass any gas causing it not fire up.( should be common knowledge for a heating guy i would think) Bought a new pressure switch changed it out. Fired up no problems. Now I'm pissed, so i took out the new gas valve put the old in to see if it worked. Fired right up. 4 days later fires right up. Can't get anyone to call back. The new gas valve on Internet which is universal is about $200. I have no problem paying for repair service, but I feel like the repairman was just trying to push a new sale of a furnace and was clueless on how to fix it. Needless to say i have a $650 universal gas($200 dollar value) valve sitting in my garage. Wont be using these guys ever again. NO INTEGRITY with this company. read more

Dealing with them on the phone is horrible. They seem angry just to speak to you and the lady who answers the phone is so rude. No manners and with no manners means no repeat business. I cancelled my appt last month because of how rude they treated me on the phone when I called about a question and after seeing all the bad reviews. The reviews seem legit if they act the same in person. Plenty of more friendly businesses that will happily speak to you. read more
