Covington Hwy isn't where I expected to find top-tier roti, but here we are. I've been to International Roti House twice now -- once for bone-in chicken roti, once for boneless -- and both were delicious. The spice, the seasoning, the roti texture... it all hits. It's a small spot, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but the food is legit. Hidden gem!

One of those places that's easy to miss unless you already know it's there. Honestly, we felt a bit out of place and not very welcomed at first. It didn't help that we weren't familiar with the menu or how ordering worked. The staff seemed annoyed with us but were much friendlier with regulars. The place is a little rundown, but still clean. Eventually, the lady at the counter made some suggestions, and I'll admit--the food was delicious. Flavorful, saucy, and the roti... omg. So soft and easily one of the best I've ever had. I'd go back for the food alone, but next time I'll make sure I know exactly what to order before walking in.

The destination. The roti. The legend. International Roti House lived up to its reputation of being one of the go to, if not the only go to spots in metro Atlanta for roti. Portions nice and the inclusion of vegetables made it a perfect meal. The goat in my roti was tender with few bones (as experienced at other places), good flavor and enclosed in fresh bussup shut. I added a side of rice and peas which were delicious despite having oversized Lima beans included. Really a bonus and blended well once I mashed and mixed with rice. My request for oxtail gravy on rice added to the palate pleasure! The meal served for 2 plus meals as I had enough to share. Do not recall specific price, but my partner ordered a vegetarian roti in addition to my goat roti, two patties - one vegetable and one callaloo (spinach), and drinks - one sorrel and one mauby (bark picture on label) - total of everything was @57. As mentioned, portions were ample and callaloo patty was my favorite of those two; there were other meat based patty options too. Rating based on bit of confusion on ordering process as new patron. Customers chimed in on direction, but ended up ordering from the counter (my partner) and lunch line (me) and combining orders along the way. Will know protocol for future visits, as definitely on the list. *PS - no new pictures will really suffice compared to those already on the main page. Will add a few captured after eating commenced; it was a long day and we were very hungry!

I went here on 6/2/25 it was my first time visiting. I passed here countless times before. You got to look close to see that they are over here. I got the jerk chicken and a fish cake. First time trying a fish cake also. The food is good and delicious. If I want to try something else I will return.

The food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!! Well seasoned, fresh and healthy portions. This is my second week in a row traveling 45 minutes to International Roti House with my husband and it's always packed, but worth the wait. We always end up dining in because of our long drive home and we want to eat the food nice and hot. Our meals hit the spot each and every time. This gem brought a piece of Trinidad and Tobago to Decatur!

    Curry goat roti- delicious!

This place is the real deal. Authentic and no frills. We came around 8pm on a Friday and they were out of several things like rice & beans. I got a roti with half curry goat and half curry chicken. They don't usually do that but the employee was nice and let me do it because I couldn't decide between the two. Sizes are huge. I have plenty for the next day. Hubby got the oxtail plate and they didn't skimp on the oxtail. Only bummer was because they were out of some things it was basically a huge plate with just oxtail, gravy, and white rice. Parking: private lot, lots of spaces.

Our server was really nice and helped explain the menu to us because we had questions for sure. For food: I got a beef patty and skillet corn bread while my friend had a dish with green bananas. I heard mostly positive things about this restaurant from a few family members, so I was curious to check it out. This Caribbean/Southern fusion spot is located as the anchor of a strip mall with other restaurants next door. The great thing is that there is plenty of parking. We came on a Saturday evening; thankfully it was not crowded, so we were able to sit down immediately. Food: I ordered the stewed chicken wings which comes with plantains and jasmine rice. I also ordered a side of roasted brussel sprouts. The wings were very good, falling off the bone tender. I also loved the flavoring of the rice, and the plantains were perfectly sweet. I was not a big fan of the brussel sprouts. They had a thick honey sauce on them that was overpowering, and they were very soft in texture. The positive side is that they give you a ton of food for the price. Service: There weren't many staff working this evening from what I could see. Our server greeted us promptly and checked on us several times before we ordered food. Once we ordered our food, it honestly went down hill. It just took extremely long to get anyone's attention for help. It also took close to 30 mins just to get our check. When the check came, they initially said they couldn't split it and added an automatic 20% gratuity. On their site, it says they do that for parties of 4 or more, but we were only a party of 3. The manager let the server split the check, but they would not remove the gratuity. I always tip well, so it wasn't the end of the world, it was just the principle for me. While I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, I might consider checking them out again for brunch.

We went there because one of my friends loves the turkey wings there and she recommended it. We order turkey plate, cabbage, sweet plantain, rice &peas and jerk chicken. I was afraid to consume the food and get some sort of poisoning. When I bent over to take a look at the food it did not look good. I asked myself are people really eating this? Then I looked in the back and the kitchen was also dark and a dirty mess. Mountains of dirty pots and pans. I said fk it, let's see what this is all about. See my receipt attached. Sad to say we took a bite of everything, and we ended up throwing it ALL away. Had to go spend more money to buy something else to eat. I do NOT recommend this place at all. I spent $43 (including a drink), and nothing about this meal was worth it. First red flag--there was a big barrel grill, but no smoky jerk smell at all. If you know real jerk, that aroma should hit you instantly. That alone should've told me everything. The jerk chicken had no smoke flavor whatsoever. It tasted pre-made and reheated. Jerk is supposed to be bold, smoky, and full of flavor--this wasn't that. The jerk wasn't jerking. The salmon was extremely salty--more like salt fish than anything enjoyable. The cabbage? Also overly salty. And the "mac and cheese"... I don't even know what that was. It looked like plain pasta with a yellow sauce. No creaminess, no baked texture, and the taste was slightly sweet in a strange way. The mac definitely wasn't macking. To make it worse, the food was cold. And I wasn't the only one--multiple people at the event were saying the same thing and talking about how bad the food was. That alone should be a sign that something needs to change. You definitely lost potential customers that day. I don't mind paying for good food, but this felt like paying for shortcuts. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.
