From the beginning, Eric and Cole were very responsive & helpful in assisting us with material and color selections and suggested products with superior quality & durability while staying within our budget. After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. We requested a few change orders along the way and they were charged at straight time and materials without the extra mark-ups most contractors tack on. Adrian was our onsite supervisor and was there every minute of every day. The flooring lead, Sergey and the carpet lead, Hector kept me informed and made suggestions that improved our end result. I checked around the top 3-4 places in the area and choose this business and glad I did. I had them replace my carpet and carpet pad from the stairs and upstairs of our home. At that time, the wonderful sales person I worked with on my first order was no longer employed and they have this guy Marlon running the show now. I was candid with Marlon about why I had to redo my floors and needed a new estimate. Marlon was initially very pushy about getting directly involved with my claim even tho I told him I already had a contractor to do the work and I simply just needed the materials. After 20 minutes of saying no to his suggestion he finally gave me the estimate. He quoted me $4.19 claiming inflation impacting the price. Okay fine -- I go get the amount approved through insurance. Insurance approvals take a while so I didn't end up going back to actually purchase the floor until today, July 2025. NOW he's trying to tell me the price for the floor is $5.39. As if the cost of flooring skyrocketed up $2.39 per sqft in a matter of 8 months?! He told me to go back to my insurance adjuster and ask for more money and then it was clear to me this man was trying to take advantage of my claim by gouging the price of the floor. He knew my insurance was a grade for grade replacement and tried to leverage that to inflate what he wanted to charge me. Pure greed. Because how else does a floor go from $3 to $5.39 in 8 months?? Especially when I checked nearby competitors and no one else had raised their prices recently. I did love that floor but the pushy & predatory business practices were simply unacceptable (especially as a return customer) and I ended up taking my business elsewhere -- as should you.

Erik showed up on time and quickly gathered the information he needed while explaining some of the things that could go wrong, like leveling issues or finding something unexpected beneath the old carpet. He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. He was easy to reach and very direct, which gave me confidence to move forward. Overall, the work was good. The flooring price was fair, but the painting cost felt high. The biggest issue was communication once the project started. I made the prepayment, met to sign the contract, and did my part. But after that, getting a response became extremely difficult. Communication with the point of contact (I won't name) was almost non-existent, which was unacceptable. The workers did their job, but since they do not speak English, any questions or clarifications had to go through the point of contact. This made resolving even small issues frustrating. On top of that, I asked for a little leftover baseboard paint for touch ups. I was told I would get it after the project was done, but it has now been four months and I still have not received anything. Cleanup was also lacking. Like other contractors I have used in the past, they left dust and debris behind, and I had to do a lot of follow up cleaning after they left each day. Prestige Flooring will get the job done, and Vlad himself was responsive at the beginning, which stood out compared to other contractors. But be prepared for poor communication during the project and less than ideal cleanup afterward. Professional service includes timely communication, not making the customer feel like they need to nag or beg for a response. That was the most disappointing part of the experience.
