I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it. Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend). Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. In short, Hamm was responsive, capable, courteous and efficient. DFW saved the day (although I lost most of the holiday weekend with the problem!). Pricing wasn't cheap but was competitive I'd say. Give DFW a shot. Their customer service and mechanical work was outstanding. They also have a shop in addition to their mobile repair service. I will certainly consider them for all my future work! One thing you need to have handy to get an estimate are the measurements of the windows. Good thing my house windows are the same sizes which made the whole process easier. The only thing that was not the same size was the patio door. When I talked with James, he replies very fast and very friendly as well. He does an onsite consultation and gets the exact measurements, but unfortunately, I had to work during the week and no internet at the home yet and then of course all my belongings were still in California. However, he did mail me a package of tint to take a look at and all prices are the same no matter what you choose. I decided not to look anywhere else and just went with this company. The prices were great. I had my windows tinted in California and I paid 3 times as much, but then again I did have more windows too. The installer came the following week and got done within 5-6 hours as I had 13 windows to tint. The thing that made the process fast was everything was precut and ready to go and all I had to do was give them the measurements. I am sure I was probably off a little, but they managed to make the windows perfect. Overall, for great prices, awesome service and excellent feel for the house. Well money spent especially for the Texas heat. I will put in pictures later.

Norm is one of a vanishing breed of honest and ethical business people. He's a great person to deal with and is a consummate professional. He's very personable and "down to earth." If you're new to paint protection films, he'll explain what it can or can't do. He'll go over the install and point out what the film will cover on your particular car. It's best to have your car as clean as possible, but Norm will "clean" up the areas he will cover. He has a great eye for detail and will spot flaws in the paint, scratches and paint chips. He'll do his best to correct them, prior to the installation. This is my second install with Norm. He installed film on my 2014 Mustang's bumper, hood, mirrors and rockers. As usual, his work was outstanding! I'm very pleased with the results and it doesn't look like I've had any work done to it. That's Norm's signature!! My car is a daily driver and I'm on the freeways every day. With all the construction and roadwork going on in Dallas these days, it's reassuring to know my car's paint won't get pelted to death by debris. If it does, the damage will be minimal or none at all. On my previous car, the film was damaged by rocks and debris, but the paint was unharmed! Instead of repainting, all I had to do was have Norm do a repair on the affected areas! As mentioned by the other reviewers, his work is the best that's out there. This is the note I sent to Invisibra. Norm Shillingg has completed full front coverage and other bits on our 2010 A4 Avant, 2010 Q7 and 2012 A6: Hi Norm, Well you have shocked and awed again! When we dropped our Q7 at the Audi dealer for body repair I had them look at your work just completed on the 2012 A6. Well of course they did not know what I was showing them. It was the perfect reaction! When I told them, they then thought you removed and reapplied all the emblems! They do have someone who applies 24" to the hood of their R8's because they were told the full hold is not possible! Thank you for your incredible craftsmanship, there is no one better! If you want the best, and I mean the absolute best clear car protection Norm at Invisibra should be your only stop. I've now had an M6 and our X6M fully worked on by Norm, from front bumper all the way back to the rear, including covering the carbon roof, door handle inserts, etc basically the works and he is so meticulous and detailed you simply can't tell the car is protected, It amazes me - his work really is that good. For any level of paint protection coverage you are looking for I can't praise Norm highly enough, excellent work and second to none friendly and personal service every time. read more

People who know me know how much of a perfectionist I am and I first got a glimpse of Norm's work at the Dallas International Auto Show. I was blown away with the work done. Fast forward to June the 26th and I had Norm cover the front bumper of my Miata. I am positive 98% of the people will never know the clear film is on the car, even with me telling them. The other 2% will only know when I tell them and they will be perfectionist like I am. I am so pleased with the results that I will have Norm protect more of my car. This was my second visit to Invisibra to apply protectant film to my hood and rocker panels, surfaces I wished I had applied the first time around. Norm's attention to detail is second-to-none, boasting incredible service and near-perfect fitment! I was surprised how much of a difference it made to my car and even on white paint, the film is in-perceivable, even on the hood. Detail Werkz provided a paint prep and ceramic coating install for me in December of 2018. Although my first experience using a coating, I was really pleased with the results and appreciated the guidance from Brian and subsequent install. The coating helps keep the car cleaner and makes cleaning a very simple procedure. It's quite a sight to see how the water beads off the thing when air drying the car. Last weekend I discovered the car had been extensively sprayed, accidentally by water with an chemical. Regular cleaning failed to remove the residue. I texted Brian shortly thereafter and got a swift response, making a plan to bring it by the workshop the next day, even though he wasn't technically open. Upon seeing the issues, Brian was able to remove the resulting damage. Give the extent of the issue we decided it best for Brian to keep the car for a day to reinstate the ceramic coating where it had been compromised. The car was ready and looking better than as ever as planned on the Monday of this unfolding on a Friday/ Saturday. The cost of all this was also entirely reasonable given the time and material needed to put it right. I totally appreciate Brian's knowledge and service and highly recommend his work based on my fantastic experience. He's a straight up guy with a passion for making cars look their best. Cheers Brian.
