After my sister broke my iPhone 6 screen at a rockets game, I felt like my heart had been shattered too, we quickly hopped on Yelp to see which places were reasonable and had good reviews. Was searching for a business to replace my son's iPhone 5s screen. Searched thru Yelp for referrals. This place is very easy to find--located right where Elgin turns into Westheimer. We dropped off his phone and went to have lunch nearby. When we returned within the hour, the tech was finished. He did an amazing job. He also mentioned to us that if we had a Yelp account and checked in, we could get a screen protector for FREE! Momma likes freebies. They put on an Ultimate screen protector--not some generic cheapie protector. Their prices are competitive but their work comes with a warranty. I'm not ready to deal with a broken screen again anytime soon, but this is the place I would go right back to if I was in that predicament! Great deal!!! read more

I was leary at first after reading reviews for so many different repair centers for iphone 5 screen repair. I decided I would give this place a try since it was cheaper and closer than most. I asked questions such as warranty, payment AFTER phone was checked out, etc. I was told 20-25 min wait, which it was more like 15-20 min. Phone looks and works great! I tested responsiveness to home button, camera (both outward and rotated in), apps in all areas of my screen (i.e. all corners), phone call, etc. Everything worked just fine. The 't' button on my keyboard (Macbook laptop) cracked a few weeks ago and I brought it here. They replaced it for cheap. Worked for a few weeks then would only type a 't' if I hit the upper left of the button. Fine. I brought it in and asked them to fix it (I'd pay), and fix my loose battery and earphone jack. Dude asks if I want a 'diagnostic' or not, where they analyze the problems for $34, otherwise they fix what you tell them. I refuse the diagnostic. I ask if they'll call me with an estimate, and the estimated repair time, before beginning work- he says of course. Hours go by so I call them. I'm told it's being looked at now. I remind them I want an estimate and am told they don't ever work on a computer without giving an estimate first. A few minutes later the repair guy/Manager calls and says basically that I can't get an estimate without buying the diagnostic. I tell him the guy up front gave me a choice of diagnostic or not. The first thing out of his mouth is... ****'Well, we video and audio record everything you say in the store.'***** Wow. Really? That escalated quickly. In one fell swoop he managed to: 1) Accuse me of being a liar. 2) Admit that they are recording customers without our consent, or signage indicating this is the case. He proceeded to explain to me the policy, which actually makes sense. They don't want to analyze problems for free, then you go fix it yourself or elsewhere, and waste their time. 1) The guy up front should communicate this well. 2) The fact the manager was quick to accuse me of lying occurs to me as shady. 3) Don't *ever* call your customer a liar right off the bat unless you know they are. 4) Don't record your customers in secret. [iPC you are welcome to play back the tape. In fact, I recommend you do. It may help you to train both the front desk employee and manager.] I told them I was coming to pick up my computer and did. The guy explained about the policy again. I nodded. Again, the policy is fine, the customer service was horrible. Changing my password now. read more

Don't get your cracked screen fixed at this place! They use shitty parts and their work is sloppy. Had to come back 3 times before I decided enough was enough, and asked for a refund. They gave me my money back, but only after installing a cracked screen on my phone, instead of the one that they had already installed which was also broken (they blamed it on a bad batch of parts every time I was there). Price is pretty much the same as Apple anyways, so go to an official store to get your screen fixed! read more

I came to I iPC after my MacBook Pro screen went black. The Apple Store told me it would cost over $400 to send in for repair. However, Juan at iPC informed me that there was a recall for the backlight on my model and that Apple should repair it free of charge. After two days they call me and ask me to stop by to copy the retrieved files on another hard drive. They don't just repair iPhone screens or MacBooks. I brought in my nearly 5 year old Sony Vaio that wouldn't turn on and wouldn't work. I handed over my laptop to them and for the fair price of $50 they recovered all my files off my laptop and to do a system diagnostic. Unfortunately my laptop was at the point where it was beyond repair but with good customer service and fair prices I wasn't too upset. Broke my phone screen - completely shattered - this morning. Took it in around 6:15 this evening, and he had a new screen put on within 20 min. We were looking around for a place to have a iphone 6 screen replaced. Went to about 6 different places (a couple near Shepherd and a few others on Westheimer) to scope out some prices. Not only was iPC one of the cheapest, but also seemed to be the most straight forward (I did not get the feeling I was getting ripped off). Screen replacement went smoothly and feels and reacts just like OEM. Not only were they very professional and friendly, but they provide a 6 mo. warranty. Most other places only gave 30 days. Amazing amazing! So I went to Genius Bar bc I had liquid damage. They quoted me $750 my computer and would need to be shipped off and I would loose my data. They said for $400/500 I could recover my data from a referral. So we are talking at least 10 business days plus $1250! I needed my computer for an important Dj gig in 5 days and was about to leave in tears when a man chase me out and referred me to iPC, I was in disbelief that anything could be done but this man was like don't worry they got you. So I called, dropped my computer off and for 1/5 of the price had my computer fixed with my DATA in less than 24 hours!!!! 5 stars is not enough!! My HP pc just stopped working, so, after reading the great reviews I requested a quote. Within 4 hours I received a reply with a suggested $39 diagnostic check. I thought that was fair. I took it in on a Thursday & by Friday I was told that it was the motherboard & it would cost approx $139 to repair & they would apply the $39 diagnostic fee towards the repair. I cracked my screen about a week ago and because of all the times I've broke my phone this year I wasn't covered under my insurance. At first I thought IPC was expensive, but after calling other phone repair places it appears that their prices are pretty average and they're down the street! So no more complaints from me.
