The absurdly high rating for this biz had me calling them immediately, in which a young man named Eid promptly quoted $250 to fix it. This was at least $50-75 cheaper than most of their competition. I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again.

So I used the "project" tab on Yelp to request a quote to see how much it would cost to fix. Ben at Intouch Wireless was the first to respond. Ben did not offer the lowest price but I chose him because of his detail answers and how quickly he responded to my questions. I showed up a few hours later when I got off work. Ben greeted me and was super friendly. He tested my phone before working on it to ensure I was correct about the issue I was having. He told me it would be about 30 mins to finish the repair. He was done with my phone within 20 mins. He tested my phone in front of me to show me it was working correctly. I really like how engaging Ben was and how he took the time to answer my questions and not over charge me once I showed up in person.

YELP needs to offer a NO star option for really cruddy , shady companies. Because iPC Repair deserves negative 5 stars!!! ...On or about 22 July 2019 I called the owner of iPC Repair to find out the cost to fix the headphone jack on my iPhone6S. I asked the owner THREE times how much it would be. He quoted me a price of $39 for my 6S. . So I went by about an hour later. When I get there he pulls the VERY ILLEGAL & FRAUDULENT bait & switch scam that he thought it was an iPhone6. Not a 6S. So the cost was went up to $49. VERY ILLEGAL... SHADY, SLEAZY business practices . So I said ok. He then said if it wasn't the jack it may the internal components(s) which would cost $100. But that repair could make my phone useless. So I took the risk. I came back about 90 minutes later. Still working on it. Finally the tech said it was fixed. So the tech inserts the earbud plug almost into the jack but not all the way to be actually connected. He turned the speaker volume down low , and put the earbuds right next to the speakers so it sounded like the earbuds had sound ... and the headphone/earbud jack was fixed. It was NEVER fixed. The owner pulled a FRAUDULENT CRIMINAL scam. I'll never give that low life any of my business and will tell people to avoid him like the plague.. I'm going to file FRAUD charges at the Harris County District Attorneys office and possibly take the low life owner to small claims court. And file a complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the Texas Attorney General office( not that those DO nothing business friendly d-bags will actually do anything consumer friendly ) .And file a complaint with the BBB !!! Anyway AVOID this company and go elsewhere.. RIP OFF BIG TIME... Save your time,effort and $$$. After reading other reviews I'm not going to even bother wasting my time trying to get Juan T. to own HIS blatant mistake and UN professional business practices. . A sign of a very disreputable person.One day he's going to piss off the wrong person and in this day & age they may come after his sleazy , shady butt . I can't stand repair shops as most of them are crooked and shady. They usually replace your parts with used parts and charge you for new. I have never been as impressed as I was with iPC Repair. Their posted hours says they close at 7. Not only did they tell me they would stay an extra 30 minutes to allow me to drop off my HP Pavilion 630 laptop, but they then proceeded to stay even longer to get it fixed and returned to me the same evening. They were extremely fast and I was extremely skeptical that they did the job properly. They anticipated this and took pictures of my repair throughout the repair to show me later, and to show that they indeed did the work. The price was very reasonable and the service was even better. I can proudly say that I recommend this repair shop to everyone and should I have any future problems with my computers or phones, this will be my first stop without hesitation. I've been coming to iPC for the last 7 years, and have taken everything from iPhones to PCs and iMacs. Service is always impeccable. Juan is great and incredible at his work. I've seen him do repairs on everything from iPhones to big iMacs (I've been around iPC often...I break my phone a lot I think I've broken it about 8 times in the last 6 months). Prices are reasonable and fair. The quality of the materials is great and turn around time is super fast. From the few minutes I have to chat with his staff it's clear he's a great leader. Because of a change in circumstances (life move) I won't be coming back, but I'll miss them terribly and hope to find a great place like this soon. Thanks for everything iPC. There's never, ever been a time that I haven't left happy. PS: the Kirby location is also awesome, I have stopped by and met Freddy before. I brought my iphone 5 and ipad 3rd generation both with cracked screen i was impressed that he told me its was gonna take 25min on my iphone 5 and 2 hours on my ipad he explained to me the process on both items and told me that the screens where originals and showed and CONFIRMED that both screen where original He told me that both items came with a 90 ay warranty (3months) and it covers everything but me dropping it again, the guy was very respectfull with me i looked at other places and where way over priced but when i called ipc repair the prices where lower then the other guys! if i was to recommend a phone repair i would recommend ipc repair no dought about it! read more

My IPhone screen was broken very very badly, it was falling apart, all the top part was gone.. so I did my review about places where I could go and get it fixed for a decent price, and honestly I choose this place cuz it looked like the cheapest one, any ways I went there and they fixed my phone (that I though was unfixable) in 30 minutes. the price as I said is the best you could find. Low quality service. This was my second time here. I got a bait and switch on the price for an iPad screen repair - not such a big deal but annoying to say the least. Usually a red flag but who cares. Anyhow, I was told it would be a one day turn around yet it took 5 days for my repair. No apology by the way. And finally, I didn't really care so much because the fee was negligible at approx $100, but these geniuses asked me for payment up front. I didn't feel like stating the obvious lol. I dropped my Phone and iPC Repair the screen. I researched some local Houston companies for the fix, and chose iPC Repair based on the reviews, the price on their Web site, their location, and a phone call. I couldn't be happier with the result! They fixed it in about 30 minutes for half the price I expected (and almost 1/4 of what the Apple store quoted). Besides being quick, they were polite and professional. And they did a great job. They repaired my iPhone about a month ago, and it's as good as new. I won't hesitate to do business with them in the future. Highly recommended! read more

I highly recommend this repair shop for any Apple or Mac related product. The employees are extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. They've helped me out with two repairs. The most recent repair was a cracked iPhone screen, that they replaced. They were very quick, and the replacement was cheaper than expected. The first repair was when I brought in my MacBook, after it stopped turning on. They were able to pinpoint the issue and fix my computer same-day. So I shattered the screen of my iphone 6 last week. My friend tried to fix it but he broke it even more. I wish I could have came here first and save money. They fixed my screen in less than 15 minutes! Friendly and very professional service. I got a free screen protector for checking in on yelp :) They also repair ipads, macs or any kind of computer, the technician was very helpful and answer all my questions, so glad I found them. While I was there, the employee was chewing tobacco and even offering drugs, which made me very uncomfortable. I brought my PS5 in because the HDMI port needed to be repaired. I was told it would take about 30 minutes, but it ended up taking almost 4 hours. Just two days later, the same problem came back. I was told the repair was covered under warranty, but when I contacted them, they refused to honor it. I took my PS5 to another repair shop for a second opinion, and they told me the previous repair had been done incorrectly. They found that 25 of the 32 screws were missing, leaving only 8 screws in the console, and one of the internal plates was also missing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. The poor workmanship, lack of professionalism, and failure to stand behind their warranty were very disappointing.
