I did the ultimate stupid move... I left my phone in my pant pocket and guess what? I washed my laundry with phone, iPhone 6 still in the pocket... Woke up this morning and went to an appt. My iPhone 4s was fully charged. 1.5 hrs later I had a 10% battery. Spoke to Jason at PCS and he told me he could change the battery in 2 mins. Took my phone down to PCS and 2 mins later I had a new battery. Gave my phone a full charge and it's like my phone is new again. PCS is the best when we need cell phone or computer repair. I had cracked my iPhone 4 and though it wasnt too bad, the packing tape I had put on to keep my fingers from getting cut by the glass was getting pretty gnarly and so I knew I had to replace my glass soon. I didnt want to spend a lot of money and I found that PCS HQ had the cheapest fix I could find on yelp. I was considering buying a kit online to fix it on my own but I was nervous that I would wreck my phone and only have myself to blame. I called earlier to make sure about prices and the owner, Charlie, confirmed that it is $59 for an iPhone screen. I went in a couple hours later and somehow Charlie knew that I had been the one to call earlier. We did some quick paperwork and he invited me to watch him fix it because it would take only about 20 minutes. After watching him take apart my phone with all the tiny screws, I knew I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. I think he said theres something like 50 pieces that he needs to take out and put back in. After he replaced the screen, he went through a checklist to make sure everything worked and he also told his son to add a free screen protector. I appreciated that it was put on cleanly because I had had one before but I had to peel it off because there were air bubbles in it. I'm a bit sad that I didnt take advantage of the yelp deal but it was so cheap already that I'm okay with it. I promised that I would write a yelp review for him but I really would recommend people to fix their phones here. Its super quick and efficient. Charlie is THE person to go see in Orange County for cell phone repair. I had a cracked section on my Droid Razr M and had visited a few places. Finding parts online is a challenge also. The reviews here are spot on (the ones rated 5 stars that is). Came in and Charlie immediately greeted us. He quickly saw the issue and looked to see if parts were online, same result i found that they don't really exist. Luckily, he had a spare on site to exchange the glass. It takes skill and precision to remove a small section of the glass to replace onto another one, and Charlie was MAGIC! Anyone else would've cracked and ruined the piece so I'm glad I came here. With his make shift oven (Brilliant! the blow dryer and box haha), he removed the piece, skillfully cut it without cracking and placed it on my phone. Total time was 20 mins in and out the door. This is DEFINETLY THE, and i say THE place to go for any repairs in the OC. For those who live outside the OC - it is worth the drive for craftsmanship and skill. While I wouldn't look forward to any more broken cell phones, I know exactly who to go and I enthusiastically encourage everyone else to as well. read more

I went directly to the AT&T store and bought the Note 3, I have been VERY pleased with this phone and I was a die hard iPhone user. Fuck this place. I went in a month and a half ago to fix a cracked screen. The proximity sensor wasn't working going in but everything was fixed like new except I realized a couple days later the corner would still lift up.. I let the warranty expire without fixing the corner but then the display got all messed up. So I go back hoping they would generously fix what they caused to happen or atleast just 30 bucks.. I go in and the Asian guy is adamant about paying 80 AGAIN! There was a guy in there already cuz of the same exact problem I had, (they left a corner from previous time) so frustrated that they're charging me the same price, I wait. When the young Asian guy finishes, he tells me everything is working except the proximity sensor... He looked at me like it was my problem to fix.. Mind you, last time I came in, destroyed screen, my sensor wasn't working and Francisco got it to work (I payed 83) now I come in with a perfect screen, get charged 80 and still asks if he wants me to fix the sensor for 45?!?! While I was waiting a kid with an iPad went in complaining that his corner was lifting up too.. Maybe this is their way of making you comeback to keep spending. DONT COME HERE! Better off going to computer tech on la habra blvd, they charge 65! read more

Don't recommend this place i went to go get my screen replaced and when i recieved it my power button was no longer working, and my front camera and on top of that the screen he installed on my phone was defective, i go again the next day to get the screen fixed, and i mentioned to him that the button isn't working and he said thats 35$ to fix the power button. I didn't even want to bother to ask them how much they would fix the front camera. These people don't care i'm assuming the owner thinks he knows everything about iphones but he just messes your phone up more to make more money off of you. Never going there again, waste of $75 to replace a screen. read more

Broke the glass on a Samsung Galaxy S4. Ordered the screen cover myself and tried to fix it. Turns out the "helpful videos" on You Tube aren't always so helpful and I managed to break the digitizer. I took the phone over to PCS. Great experience, Charlie fixed the phone right in front of me in less than 20 minutes. Explained in detail what I had done wrong. Ran a full QC on the phone to make sure all features were operational before he gave it back.
