First time trying this Jamaican spot and it was sooo good. Very authentic. At first I thought it was pricey, but you get a lot of food for the money. I ordered two plates of oxtails with rice and peas, plantains, plus two rum cakes and two juices. Everything was delicious. My mom and I both loved it. I found this place by just Googling restaurants near me and had no idea it was even there since it's inside an office building. You do have to pay for parking, which is a downside, and they could definitely use more signs for the building. Other than that, the food is amazing. I'll definitely be back.

Ordered oxtails on a Saturday night, it was delicious! Staff was friendly and polite. The food was served quickly. The store was clean, only a few tables open for seating.

I ordered irie mom on door dash and it was pretty good. I got the whole fried snapper and the jerk chicken. Both were good but not the best I've had. I would go again , but I prefer Kingston's on the east side. I asked for my snapper extra spicy and it wasn't spicy at all, but they could have overlooked that. Jerk chicken was seasoned well.

Good Jamaican food can be difficult to find these days, so I'm always happy to enjoy some Irie Mon Cafe when I'm craving some. As someone from South Florida who grew up eating all kinds of Caribbean food, I can be really judgey although I'm American lol. So when one of my fave Jamaican girlies told me that Irie Mon Cafe was her local go-to, I made them mine. This location is in a small plaza with limited parking and a tight parking lot. The restaurant itself doesn't offer any seating and is arranged for pick-up only. It's always so hard for me to choose what to order but you really can't go wrong with their jerk chicken or oxtails and next I'll try their fish. My boyfriend loves a rasta pasta and enjoyed their version when we had it last. I appreciate that they don't skimp on portions and when you order extra sauce, they load it up! Definitely one of my top spots in ATL to indulge in my cravings for Jamaican food, can't wait to try more from their menu.

Fatty Oxtails that needed to cook for 2 more hrs

If you're going to serve small abortions of fatty, oxtail and dry jerk, chicken at least treat customers with a bit of respect. I just wasted $60 and I'll never be back. The only reason why I gave them one star is that they're open later than everybody else but I got my plate of food before 10 PM. The lady was rude and dismissive and they just lost me as a customer. My first time and I'll never be back in that place again. I'm not even the type of person to ever leave a review good or bad, but this rubbed me wrong. No excuse for bad service

This is the place to come for good Jamaican food if you're looking for laid back appeal, no dress code, no fuss ordering, a food-focused establishment (no drinks/no hookah), with great service and prompt ordering. They stay open past midnight, have a variety of options, and the sauce is spicy but not overpowering. I have had the chicken and the oxtails. They also have salmon, shrimp, and curry. The seating is great for small groups, solo outings, and somewhere decent to eat and study or read. It is limited but always clean and welcoming. Food is good, served hot, they prepare it and place it on warmers, but the chicken is cut fresh to order. Tastes like the Jamaican food I've had overseas and the price is reasonable- pretty much same as other local spots. I like that it's laid back so no need to get dressed up or pay for extras just come get your food and enjoy. When you reach the location there's a metered entry to the parking lot. It's confusing to get out if you're not familiar but it's easy: just go around the side of the building and exit from the upper deck. If you want cocoa bread just ask it's not on the menu but they have it!

I don't know if I just ordered the wrong thing but I did not enjoy the food. I got curry chicken and the curry was thin and just lacked over flavor. The rice and peas were soggy and the cabbage was definitely bland. The food is prepared pretty quickly though.

I experienced their food via their food truck at the Falcons Training Camp Day event. The service was very quick as soon as I ordered. The food was scrumptious and served hot. If it ain't spicy, it ain't jerk chicken and this jerk is spicy. The rice and peas were moist and not dry--just the way I like them. I love the flavor of the cabbage as well. Everything was truly delicious. Highly recommended! The plate was $15 for tons of food.

The first time I experienced this café it was excellent. It was so good we catered it for our holiday party however it seems to be a hit and miss now. The cashier/server seemed unwelcoming or friendly and seem like it was an issue when I asked for extra oxtail gravy on my rice and cabbage. Anyone knows White rice is dry and knees gravy. On this particular visit the oxtails were a little tough and the flavor was off but I would try them again to see if something changes.

    Brown stewed chicken
    Courtney R.

The food was mediocre. The brown stewed chicken was dry and had no sauce and the plantains were overcooked and dry. The health inspection score is a 89 B. The staff could be more pleasant but Jamaicans have an innate attitude problem for some unknown reason. The restaurant could be cleaner looking but I guess they are doing their best. I'll stick to my spot in North Atlanta. Not impressed.

    Amazing!

I ordered Irie Mon through Door Dash and it was great. First off, the food was packaged so well. If you've ever had Jamaican, you know that you HAVE to hold the bag from the bottom so that you don't spill any of the gravies and juices. Each container was wrapped tightly with plastic wrap, so even if the driver didn't handle it with care, the food would still be intact. It was also 11 pm, so I thought the rice would be hard and the chicken dry lol. That was not the case! The portions were amazing and everything was fresh. There was a promotion on the jerk chicken last night, so I've been eating leftovers throughout the day. If you haven't been yet, give Irie Mon a visit. Very good and I'll be back!

When you walk in depending on which angle you see the guy on the grill outside making the jerk chicken. Which is great they make it on the grounds of the store. It was my first time here and the lady I in the front gave great service. She was respectful honest when asked about the menu. Ambiance was good music being played clean had tables and chairs to sit and eat. If you wanted to sit down and eat your food on the scene. I definitely will be back in the future.

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.
