Not only did Irongate quote a great price, they also proposed a better fence that was custom fabricated for our site. This fence was done right at a reasonable price for exactly the price quoted. All these guys are great and a pleasure to work with! The work was completed in a very timely manner (considering our recent weather) and the fence is BEAUTIFUL! In my opinion, forget calling the other companies who send out a salesman in a suit to pitch you a cookie cutter fence "assembled" on site by semi-trained laborers. We have been having trouble with our 6 flat condo building and the front gates since the building was converted into condo's 4 years ago. Several companies have been out over the years and nothing was a permanent fix. Then I discovered Iron Gate Welding. The latch box on our iron gate had to be replaced after the handle broke off. They cut out the old box, welded in a new latch box, installed a new latch mechanism with handles, adjusted the strike, and then returned to prime and repaint the new parts to match the rest of the gate. They were clean and neat, they masked the area around the strike before painting it. They were courteous in emails and in person. They did it all for half the price of the other guy I called, who put us off with promises for 2 months without getting the job started. read more

To understand my point of view I was only asking what was to be done on my gate. You didn't answer my question. I never tried to get the price lower. No one told me I needed a new gate. I don't call people names and I don't understand the last line. I'm sure your company would have done a great job but there was no communication on what you would exactly do. I called Dave to come out and repair the back and front iron gates surrounding our condo building. Dave responded immediately and came out to give us a very reasonable quote. He repaired the gates right away (the next day) and was available for any questions afterwards.
