I got a new car for school, & about a week into making the 45 minute drive to Pomona, on 57N filled with huge commercial trucks, inevitably I got a ding on my windshield from presumably a flying rock. Within a day or two, the ding grew into two large, full blown cracks, starting at the top of my windshield & spanning across about half of it. Meaning I needed an entire new windshield. My insurance deductible was $250 so I called to change it, but the damage was already done, couldn't claim my windshield was damaged the day after I changed my deductible. So, I started calling windshield companies looking for quotes, & the best price I got was here - $480 for the cost of the windshield & labor, total out the door with recalibration & tax was $560. Why pay $560 when I could pay $250 thru insurance? Their warranty. The lifetime warranty that they offer is what really sold me. With the drive I was making, I expected a lot more windshield issues. When I called for a quote, I spoke to Josh, the owner. I told him the quotes I'd gotten from other companies & he said "let's see if we can't save you some money", & offered me a price much better than the ones I'd been getting. He mentioned their warranty, which I blew off, since I've heard this before with other companies. The last company I used promised a lifetime warranty, but when pressed for details they said it was only a free replacement if the windshield if there was some error on their part installing the windshield - if you had another thing fly at your windshield that caused a ding or crack, that wasn't covered. Josh's warranty was the exact opposite. If you have your windshield replaced with Orange, & experience another crack, ding, or issue with your windshield due to flying debris, a meteor falling out of the sky, an angry ex taking a baseball bat to your car, whatever, Orange takes your broken windshield, sends it back to the manufacturer, & gets a new windshield to put in your vehicle. The manufacturer pays for these broken windshields, offsetting the cost of Orange needing to buy a new one, meaning you as the customer don't end up paying for a new windshield - just pay for labor & recalibration. This sounded way too good to be true, & I didn't believe him, which I emphatically expressed. He gave me a bunch of hilarious, colorful examples that would be covered - if my favorite presidential candidate shot a missile into my windshield; if God took a hammer to my windshield....it would all be covered. We hung up. Told my parents, who also didn't believe it. So then I called back asking what the catch was, explaining to him the other "lifetime warranty" terms I've heard, & how limited they were compared to his warranty. He said he'd never heard of warranties like those, & explained his as like "going to Costco, buying a new TV, getting mad at it & throwing it on the curb. Then taking it back & getting a new one". Josh was full of colorful examples to illustrate the depth of his warranty, & I was sold. I sent him my VIN, pics of the crack, & other info over text. He responded extremely quickly & provided his personal cell number to reach him for any questions or concerns. A mobile repair technician came to my house within the next couple days & replaced my windshield, & recalibrated my cameras/sensors too, which other places told me couldn't be done unless I brought it to their shop. I've yet to have my windshield damaged again, but if it does I'll be calling Josh back, and will update my review to see how the warranty turns out. But the human element here is so great - when my parent's windshield broke I immediately told them to call Orange Windshield. If you have a glass problem, service, convenience, & price is stellar at Orange Windshield!

A few years ago, I had my windshield replaced by another shop because it was a little cheaper. They rushed the job, reused old molding, and didn't prep the surface correctly. The windshield looked fine at first, but after the first heavy rain I started noticing water leaking inside my car. Later I learned that shortcuts like poor cleaning, improper primer application, or not allowing the adhesive to cure properly can lead to leaks, wind noise, and even reduce the windshield's ability to protect you in an accident. When I went to OC Windshields, they took the time to explain the entire process. They showed me why quality urethane adhesive matters, why proper preparation is so important, and why rushing a windshield installation can create problems down the road. I realized I wasn't just paying for a piece of glass I was paying for safety, experience, and peace of mind. Sometimes the cheapest option ends up costing more. After seeing the difference firsthand, I can honestly say the quality was worth every penny. If you're getting your windshield replaced, don't just compare prices. Compare the workmanship. It makes all the difference.

I dropped off my car at 9a and came back at 4p (closing time, even though the business hours on this page says 7p) and still had to wait till 4:45p to drive off with my car. If you are on a time budget, schedule the weekend or something. I was late to get back to work. The work itself was good and the Xpel XR nano-ceramic tint is truly an excellent product. VERY good heat reduction I've notice inside my car on these hot hot summer days. Definitely would recommend their service, but be mindful of your time in case it isn't a 'quick' pickup.
