So i've been hearing about this spot for a while now so i finally decided to make the drive. Half Carne Asada/Half Jones Burrito: Good flavor. Stuffed with meat. Dont know what it comes with but i tasted onion, cilantro, avocado and cheese. The meats were carne asada and i think carne de res. Overall, this burrito was good. Staff: The young lady taking orders was helpful and courteous. She took the time to explain the menu. I asked what she recommended as this was first time here. She stated either the carne asada or Jones burrito. She then told me they can make hal and half. So i jumped on that. Overall: A pleasant experience. Food is good. After checking other Yelp reviews, i think my next burrito will be the Dispatch burrito. I would recommend! read more

Had to pick up the kids early from school. Asked my Wife where should I eat since she was born and raised in this 'hood (said with ALL due respect) She recommended Isaac's. Why not. I ordered a green chili burrito. The burrito isn't massive nor is it small. It's "just right". Alot of people complain about the size but who likes walking out beyond stuffed over food lol Green chili was not bad at all. Of course. Mom's is always best, but it still didn't disappoint. You can tell alot of dock workers come here. Price for burrito and drink was $14.68. Eh it is what it is... You're paying $10 - $12 for a combo at McDonald's or Carl's. Would I come back? A friend who used to work in the area recommended Isaac's years ago; long live Yelp bookmarks! Since I was in the area and starving, I decided to give Isaac's a try. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito which was insanely large and richly flavorful. The flour tortilla melted in my mouth but was able to stand up to the massive amount of carne asada it was holding. To try to be healthy, I also ordered a side salad and a Diet Coke. The salad was made of ripe avocado and tomato over crisp lettuce, with a nice Italian dressing. I was also given a lovely green salsa for the burrito which added a nice zing to the rich carne asada. Wish I lived closer 'cause I'd be here more often for sure. I've been to Isaac's many times over the years but really only get one of two items. The Jones burrito or the chili verde burrito. The later is a very spicy burrito with tender pork and the jones burrito is a beef burrito with beans , cheese avocado and a red sauce. Both are delicious and I would give them a 4.5. read more

While doing business in the area, I stopped by this place for a quick lunch. I found this place on my Yelp app, and made my way over here. This is a small restaurant, and parking can be found along the street. The place is old by decor, but the customer service is decent. I ordered their carne asada burrito, and a bottled water. While I waited to get my food, I made a quick pit stop. I noticed that they kept this place clean throughout. It was not long after that I got my food. My burrito was decent, with a good portion of beef, and guacamole and other ingredients mixed in. The salsa was a good complement to the burrito, and the meal left me satisfied. I went there around lunch time. Had the green chile burrito. About $15 and it was a good size burrito, meat only. I did not get the rice and beans. I can honestly say it was not the best green chile I've had but it was very good, and the portion was enough to make me happy. One thing that left me very impressed is that the place was spotless!!! Super clean, and I really appreciate that. It shows pride and respect for customers. It had a good flow of customers, it was not overcrowded but a good flow of customers, made me want to come back and try their other dishes. read more

Long shore men don't like to let their secret spots out, so I have heard, but this place is on another level. The Jones sauce/burrito. We walked in and were greeted with smiles from everyone. We were asked if we'd been there before and when we stated it was our first visit the gentleman brought us a small tasting plate. The carne asada is tender and delicious, the chile Verde is slightly spicy and tender, and the chile Colorado was really flavorful and fall apart flaky. We went on to order too much food and took it home with us; even with a 30-minute drive the food was still warm and yummy.
