I always buy my acai bowl here whenever I crave for one. I usually get acai, matcha and cacao as my base and lots of cacao chia pudding which is my absolute favorite. Price wise, I would say is little expensive but it's really good. Small is $11, medium is $14, and large is $18. read more

I've been coming to Island Bodega since 2019, and they've never missed. Their açaí bowls are consistently fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. You can taste the quality -- thick açaí, mango, matcha, perfectly ripe strawberries, crunchy superfood toppings, and that creamy cashew butter drizzle that ties it all together. I would always walk by this place since it's in a lot with other restaurants. I'm so glad we came in for our book club meeting! My friends are already talking about coming back and trying the other flavor combinations and coffee. I ordered one of the signature bowls the Cacaococonut and it did not disappoint. The service was great and the bowl looked so pretty and better yet it was so tasty. The creamy coconut and almond butter drizzle worked so well with the crunchy granola. Island Bodega is one of the better acai bowl places in OC so I was extremely disappointed this morning when I came in for their BOGO deal. I placed my order ahead of time and when I went into the store, it was noticeably hot and sticky inside. This wouldn't have bothered me as much if I hadn't been waiting 45 minutes for my bowls. After I got my bowl, I opened it to being completely melted. This was extremely frustrating after waiting so long, so I asked if there was any way it could be remade. They let me know their AC system was broken and all their base was melted. This was absolutely ridiculous, not the workers fault, but the boss for allowing it to be open with these conditions. They weren't even able to give me a refund and told me to come back another day, making it very inconvenient. I can tell the workers were overwhelmed so less criticizing them, but more towards whoever decided it was okay to stay open with no AC and melted acai base. read more

Service today was horrible! Place an order online said it will be ready at 11:15. Didn't receive my order until 12. Notice when people walk in and order they got their order before me. The girl who handed me my order said to freeze it before eating it?!!?? Once I put it in my car and drove out of the parking lot I notice she never fully close the lid and it spilled all in the bag. Try to call and let me know they pick up and hang up right away. Super frustrating!!! read more

This place has been around for a while and they offer tasty island-inspired treats - from acai bowls to smoothies, the flavors are fresh and the fruits and toppings are tasty and delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous - lots of young folks here for their part time jobs. Always nice to support them. The store itself is pretty unclean - tables are sticky, floors have debris and trash, and the chairs all have pieces of fruit and are stained. When we got up out of our seats, 2 of us had old fruit and toppings sticking to us. I know you can't control all previous customers, but the edges of the store and the other chairs we looked at all looked dirty as well. Prices are very high, so be prepared that these are expensive treats. Lots of decent flavor options and combinations otherwise - if it offered better value and the store itself was better maintained, I think this would be a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends. Overall, 50/50. Plenty of delicious island/Asian dessert places nearby to try as well. read more

This is my favorite acai spot now! They have many unique bases where they offer signature bowls or you can customize your bowls. The passion fruit is one of my favorites. Parking is a little tough because there are so many popular restaurants here, but it's worth it. The service is quick and organized, and they also have coffee and smothers on the menu as well. I love this acai spot! I have been coming here since it opened some years back, and I haven't stopped coming here since! It's super yummy, I love how you can choose multiple bases and sides, and they have very many different options. Usually I build my own bowl, but this time I tried a signature bowl, specifically the dirty matcha, and it was so bomb! I loved it. I think the small size is perfect for one person and both the large and medium are perfect for sharing! it's very filling! also, I love the decor of this place I think it's super cute. Everything is always super clean, and staff is friendly-I have never had a bad experience! It's pretty spacious inside compared to other places I have tried, and they have seating so you could dine in ! Also, they sell iced coffee and other beverages, but I have yet to try them myself. read more

Do you do points? This place do points with CashApp I wished one of the worker had told me soon been coming here a few times already and could of earned at least 36 -45 points by now.

Gave more juice Peach Bellini 4.5/5 - table side pour is nice touch and rest of bottle was nice. Syrup has a sourness but mixed in with Bellini and gelato and tasted just right. Melontini - 2.5/5 light, somewhat good flavor but nothing memorable. Ambience seems nice but it can be loud inside with open floor plan.

I've only ever had the Cerritos location, but I've always enjoyed their ice cream. Their flavors remind me of the creativity at salt and straw, but even better. It must be the butter they use and the thickness of the ice cream. I recommend getting samples and trying out different flavors to cater to your preferences. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty good. I usually just share a split scoop. Their service is great and they move pretty fast. There are small tables to stand and eat, but it's definitely a quick stop kind of spot. My favorite ice cream shop nowadays and I always bring friends.

I really appreciated how nice and helpful the workers were. The girl who helped us offered recommendations and let us sample a handful of flavors. Ultimately we decided to get a flight which included 4 flavors of kid sized scoops for $15. They had a "Brewed and Bold" offering as part of their seasonal menu so we decided to get the Black Sesame Cookies and Cream, Thai Tea Buttercrunch, Matchaberry Brownie, and their Hojicha Chip. The ice cream flavors were subtle but so delicious and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more of their flavors. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the time of day as it's in a busy plaza shared with other eateries, but thankfully we were able to snag a spot within a few minutes.

We already looked at the menu ahead of time before so we can be in and out. So we received our order right away. I ordered a premium Jasmine green tea with 0% sweetness and easy ice. My drink was very floral and tea forward because I didn't get any sugar in mine - which I like. My husband got a mango ice tea with boba and aiyu jelly. He liked his drink. I tasted it and it has a good, distinct mango taste. The boba had good texture and chew. He didn't know what the big jelly squares were. I told him that's the jelly lol. I tasted a bit of it. It has no taste (imo) but he liked it. And once he got to the bottom of his drink, there were big chunks of mango which were hard to slurp up in the straw. This place has cute decor. Very simple. It's a place worth stopping by again and trying out the other drinks they have.

I also appreciate that they have caffeine free fruit drinks, which is helpful if I'm getting something at night. In previous visits, I've had their strawberry milk tea and their fresh milk tea, which are completely different experiences. Their strawberry milk tea has a smoothie consistency and has fresh fruit. Despite its consistency there is a nice tart creaminess from the dairy in the drink, I appreciate the refreshing flavor from the fresh strawberry. The "velvet fresh milk tea" has a really rich taste from the milk. It's unique; however, it's a little too rich for my preferences and it's why I tend to go with their regular "jasmine milk tea" with boba. I appreciate this location in Cerritos; however, they also have a location in Irvine. This is a great spot for boba in the area.
