Love the breakfast here! took my family here for brunch for the first time and my granddaughter ordered everything UBE that they had and loved it. (and she took home a small UBE cheesecake) They are also dog friendly so I bring our pup whenever I can and they do give local discounts to residents which is always appreciated. My son got their signature burger while we got breakfast and raved about that too.

I wasn't expecting much because of the low rating but omg the double loco moco was basically two loco moco orders on one plate for less than two times the cost of one. Shared it with my husband thinking we were being smart about tummy space but oh boy wild portion size. It was so delicious too. I really liked the open concept and being able to look out to the ocean from the second floor. Even caught sight of other restaurants to try service is fast and the guy was so nice and chill! He made me feel like my cheesecake decision was the best ever.

I think my favorite loco moco on the island. Very much a no frills diner, fast service, and great food. Located in an outdoor mall surrounded by a bunch of businesses, shops, and bar. Across from here is a beach and outdoor activities, so you can definitely start your day here and explore the surrounding area for the day.

Amazing service and food. Went for breakfast. I had Pesto Avocado Toast, it was perfect. My Husband had biscuits and gravy. He loved it. I would recommend trying the homemade hot sauce. We could not be happier. Also sitting enjoying breakfast with a view of the ocean is priceless.

Entrance - Lilikoi Bar and Grill in Kauai. Saturday, 8/02/2025

Saturday, 8/2/2025 - we stopped by Lilikoi Bar & Grill in the Harbor Mall. Address is 3501 Rice St #2009, Lihue, HI 96766. This restaurant on the 2nd floor. We hostess was very nice and seated us right away. We got to sit by the open window with a nice view to the ocean. We can see people surfing. Upon arrival... Pros 1) restaurant is in a small mall. So when we arrived, we going parking right away. There is a small parking lot here. 2) the hostess and staffs were very nice. 3) water tasted great. No funky or weird taste. They do provide sluces of lemon if you ask for it. 4) we ordered coconut shrimp ($16), Lilikoi Burger ($24), and Kauai Poke Bowl ($19). Coconut shrimp and burger were great. Poke bowl wasn't that good, sadly. We also got the Ube Cheesecake for $11. Tasted great! 5) tables, chairs, utensils, plates, cups were all clean. 6) lots of desserts to choose from. You can see them right when you walk in. 7) bathroom was clean. Two stalls in the women's bathroom. Cons 1) we had to search for a staff to ask for water refill. 2) when server brought us our main meal, they didn't take the empty, dirty plates away or see that our water cups were empty and refill it. 3) Conclusion We like this little spot. Nice staffs. Great view. Lots of other little stores in this mini mall to check out after you eat. Clean restaurant. Good foods. Easy parking (at least for us this time). Try this spot if you haven't yet or when you're in Kauai. :)

We went here for dinner as it had a gluten free option for one of our group. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone liked their food. I had the Mac nut pesto penne and it was good for what it was but wasn't my favorite. That's on me. There was a game on and some locals watching it and so the sports bar vibe where we sat but didn't bother us at all. Drinks were good.

Great views for cocktails (or a meal). The corona was cold and my cocktails were good. We got a cured cauliflower salad to go and it came out wicked fast. Salad was good, nice flavors Corona was available, and cold!

Update 5/25/25 Lilikoi's bar and grill is a very decent restaurant to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We mostly visit Liliko's for breakfast. The ambiance is chic and tropical with partial views of Nawiliwili Bay. The service has always been great when we visit. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food served is prepared to your liking. The food quality has been consistently good every time we have dinned at Lilikoi's. I recommend giving Lilikoi Bar & Grill a visit for Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

3.5 but will round up to 4. And stopped here real fast before catching our flight out. The servers were nice and the food was decent. Mac nut pancakes - 4.5/5 Basic breakfast - 3/5 Ahi Benedict - 2/5 Breakfast sandwich - looked like. 3.5 It was breezy which was nice and they were accommodating for a baby. A fun vibe right across from a good beach (Kalapaki).

I can only rate this restaurant based on a takeout order. The person who helped me seemed to be on her lunch break, as she was still eating while taking my order. I ordered the Loco Moco, which I'd been craving ever since landing in Lihue. The wait time was about 25 minutes (a bit longer than expected) but the mall had plenty of spots to explore while I waited. As for the Loco Moco, it was just okay. Not as flavorful as I'd hoped, It filled the void, but didn't steal my heart. Still searching for my go-to Loco Moco on the island.

aloha I had a gift card from this place so I decided to use my gift card on the app toast to order my food .. I got a Brioche French Toast it was just ok nothing enchanting about it I also got a side of fruit strawberries, and pineapple .. when I went to pick up my order, I told the girl that I called in the order she brought me my order she asked me if I wanted a bag or not I said yes, then she handed me the bag lol didn't bother to put my food in the bag lol ... if it wasn't for the gift card that I was given I would not have eaten here.

    Kids menu

We stopped here for dinner because I was craving Loco Moco and this was the closest stop to our hotel that served it. We opted to get the double patty so my husband could also have some, the Cuban sandwich, kids dish and chips and an order of calamari. The kids fish and chips and calamari came first. The fish and chips were flaky, crispy and fresh. The kids portion comes with two large pieces and plenty of crispy fries to munch on. The calamari comes with rings and tentacle pieces and a warm marinara sauce that is nicely flavored. The calamari itself was ok, a bit chewy and stringy in some of them, but not terrible by any means. The main events followed quickly after (food arrives quickly here which is great if you're hungry!) and the portions were large and at the perfect temperature. The Loco Moco double comes with two quarter pounders, two fried eggs and two mounds of white rice all smothered in mushroom gravy topped with fried onions. The fried onions were a nice surprise and added a lot of flavor and needed crunch. The gravy had a good flavor but there was some type of drizzle mixed in that was a bit sweet and off putting that I could have done without. The egg yolk was already busted on one of the eggs but not a deal breaker overall. The hamburger patty was seasoned nicely and had a nice crust on them which worked well even when smothered in gravy. The Cuban sandwich was loaded with mustard and pickles, Kalua pork and ham slices. The ham was smoked lunch meat and not our favorite but without it the sandwich tasted amazing. The pork was juicy and full of flavor and the baguette was the perfect vehicle for the sandwich. Overall a great meal, great service and we grabbed two desserts to go as well (strawberry cheesecake and a Mac nut Kouign Amann). The cheesecake was not very fresh and you could tell by the fresh strawberries mixed into the cake and the one on top but the flavor was still good. The macadamia nut Kouign Amann lacked that sugary crust on the traditional pastry and the Mac nuts did not add much to the flavor or texture although they had been toasted. Unfortunately both desserts I would pass on next time.

Perfectly balanced with an out of this world macadamia nut dusted rim. And it's a truly special restaurant too. It's the first place we go when we land, tucked in The Timbers close the airport, you can go from airport to relaxing poolside with a spectacular view in 5 minutes. Service is absolutely top notch - every server, every bartender, every person we spoke to on property was a seasoned pro and a delight to interact with. The food is spectacular. We've had a few items over the years that we just can't get out of our head, the crispy rice poke and the short rib potstickers especially. It's not an inexpensive meal, but if you think of it as renting yourself an hour or two of unpretentious luxury, it's a screaming deal.

The customer service is absolutely horrible and I would not go here unless you want to be treated bad. We had a party of 8. He was trying to talk us out being seated the entire time saying it will be an "hour plus plus" of time trying to get us to leave. Our party told him repeatedly we were going to stay and wait until a table was ready to sit us all. As I went to inquiry about our wait time after a 25 min wait, I was told by the manager Robert that there was a party of 11 ahead of us as well as several other parties waiting to be seated, and it would still be an "hour plus plus" of a wait. I said okay and returned to my party. When we checked the app, there were only 3 party's ahead of us. 2 parties of 2 and a party of 6. I returned to the desk and spoke with Robert once again trying to get an understanding on why it would be an "hour plus plus" wait time when only 3 parties were ahead of us. Robert didn't like that I called him out on his lie. Robert proceeded to call me out of my name and say "I will not serve a b*tch, and you can get out of my restaurant". Our family was extremely upset regarding this encounter, and one went to speak with him again. Robert than called me a liar. He must not like the truth being called out on him. Because he didn't indeed call me that haha. Anywho, this manager is completely unacceptable and should be in NO position to be in any hospitality job if he can not handle people or any situations. A managers job is to handle escalations and he does not have the capacity to be able to do so. He is extremely rude to everyone we encounter and we were not the only family who was treated this way. I would 10000% NOT recommend until a new manager is in position here. I will also be filing a corporate complaint with the owners the Luana Hospitality Group as this experience was unacceptable and unprofessional.

Friday, June 10 at 5:15pm…read more After a satisfying rum tasting experience at Koloa Rum, my wife and I headed over to Maliki Lounge to try the Koloa Rum MaiTai (per the recommendation of a Koloa Rum). Upon entering the lounge, my wife and I decided to sit in the teal couch located near the back of the lounge (in direct view of the bar area). Since Happy Hour had just ended, the large crowd at the bar left leaving a somewhat empty lounge. Equipped with my signature smile (my close friends always comment on the fact that I have an infectious smile), I greeted the bartender and ordered a MaiTai for myself and a margarita for my wife. After leaving my card at the bar(we were prepared to indulge in quite a few beverages), I presented my wife with her drink as we engaged in conversation on the comfortable couch. As we consumed our beverages, we noticed that a small crowd of folks began making their way into the lounge (I have to add that these individuals were not seated at the bar). As we arrived to the sad conclusion of our delicious drinks, I began to wonder when an employee would stop by and ask if we were ready for another (or simply just provide the bare minimum of customer service by checking in with us). Initially I assumed that staff only provided service to patrons that were seated at the bar. However, I observed that some of the individuals seated in close proximity to us were receiving service. I looked at my watch and observed that a whopping 20 minutes had passed since we finished our drinks. During that 20 minutes I observed patrons receiving additional drinks and receiving food. During this time, I also began questioning my sanity. As each patron was checked on by an employee, I began to wonder if my wife and I had gone on to the afterlife and were invisible. The final straw was when an employee walked past us after checking in with another couple. I'm not one to pull the race card; however, I couldn't help but think that race played a factor because the other patrons were Caucasian (White). At this point I was ready to remove myself and my wife from this disgusting environment, and made my way to the bartender to close out my tab. If I were the stereotype that you see on Fox News (and if my card was not on file), we probably could have walked out of this bar unnoticed (without paying). When I calmly and quietly expressed my concern to the bartender (please note that I led with the fact that she makes delicious drinks), she told me that staff were busy tending to both lounge and restaurant patrons. However, we observed staff chatting casually amongst each other and moving with absolutely no sense of urgency. After delivering an uninspired apology (basically telling me to hurry up and close out the tab), she stated that she probably should have checked in on us herself. At this point she was better of telling me the real reason why we did not receive any customer service. I loved the cozy environment and the delicious drinks. However, that means nothing when you're a willing and able paying customer who is not acknowledged. My wife and I had a great time at the Koloa Rum Tasting Room. However, the lack of customer service at this establishment was an alarming reminder that we are indeed on a plantation. I understand that the pandemic is impacting everyone to some extent (especially the work ethic of staff); however, management needs to address this issue (there are multiple Yelp reviews expressing similar experiences.
