A must stop when it Maui. The parking here is a little pricey, $4 every 30 minutes. I recommend ordering ahead (you can order online) as the line can get long. But the service is very fast and even with a 20+ person line you will order and get your drinks within 20 minutes. I did the island latte iced and it was perfect. The perfect hint of flavors and good coffee. I also did an açaí bowl and wow was it delicious. Fruit so fresh and very filling. The employees were very friendly and working quickly. Every morning I got up at 6:30, went for coffee and then the day began. With other coffee options available my husband didn't understand why we had to wait 1 hour or more for coffee. Honestly depending on who's working, that will show how the line moves. You can also order ahead but they make the coffee when you get there, and you still end up waiting. Anything you order will not disappoint. Acai bowls, cold brews, it was all fantastic. Just expect to wait! Great spot for açaí bowls. Don't let the long lines deter you, it moves quickly enough. Besides, there isn't anything else like it in the area. Unfortunately there isn't any indoor seating as of this writing, but in Whaler's Village you'll find lots of outdoor seating. So glad they opened one in Maui. When we visited Oahu, we absolutely loved this place. They have some of the best Kona frozen coffees. We ordered the Coconut Kona coffee and Mocha Kona Coffee. Pro tip: order online for pick up. The ordering line usually takes 30-40 mins during peak times. Also, they only validate parking with a $25 purchase. Not ideal if you order only 1-2 drinks. We stopped by on an early morning for coffee and acai before the rest of the shops in the area were open. There was only a short line, and we were able to get our parking validated to avoid paying the $8/hr fee. We ordered the island latte and the honey latte which were both delicious. Stopped by Island Vintage Coffee for an early morning breakfast. I ordered their signature Island Coffee, a waffle, and an Ube bagel. The bagel came with both Ube cream and cream cheese. Overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The waffle was quite hard, with a crunch that felt more stale than satisfying. The Ube bagel, however, was really enjoyable. I especially liked spreading the Ube cream on the waffle--it added a nice flavor. A few practical notes: the only parking is in the nearby parking structure, which is a short walk away. The matcha yuzu had a nice citrus kick, and the tropical tea was fruity and perfect for a warm day. They also had a nice assortment of breakfast items, including açaí bowls, sandwiches, and salads. This was probably our favorite coffee spot while staying in Kaanapali. It's located in Whalers Village so we took our hotel's shuttle to get here to avoid the high parking cost of parking in Whalers Village. It's located on the bottom level and you can spot it pretty quickly because it's usually where most people are flocking to, especially in the morning. Be prepared to wait in line. There is a line for a reason. It is the only coffee shop in Whaler's Village. But they don't just have coffee, their açaí bowls and breakfast bagel sandwiches are also crafted with care. My favorite was the Maui Lavender Lattee and the Original Açaí bowl. I also tried the Iced Premium Matcha Latte and the Lox of Bagel breakfast sandwich (with fruit side +$1.50). They take orders pretty quickly, so the line moves. But when they are super busy, it gets crowded by the pickup counter. After you order, they will give you a number for your order. Remember it. I would also recommend getting a receipt for your order. They have staff making drinks and food. They call out numbers constantly as each item is ready. So, if there is more than one item in your order, they may or may not be ready at the same time. This was my least favorite part. While we waited, there were a couple instances where there were errors in orders and they asked to see the receipt from those people. We didn't have any issues but I would say having a receipt will help to get something corrected a lot quicker. All in all, we enjoyed this spot. They have good quality drinks and food. read more
