First time here. We were headed back up north and wanted to have brunch. Our host was also our server and he brought everything out together while assisting the front with seating - impressive to watch. Our food was tasty. We can't wait to come back.

We had some time to kill before we could check into rental so, stopped here on our visit to the keys for a late lunch. Seated right away by the water, it is kind of off season. Ordered a margarita with tequila. Was very strong...loved it great start to our stay. Ordered blackened Mahi Mahi tacos that came with rice and beans. My wife had Tuna nachos. Both dishes were excellent. We gobbled it up. Fish was fresh and tasted great. For dessert we ordered key lime pie. It had a good tart flavor and wasn't super sweet. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Food was very good as was the service. Clean bathrooms. A chicken quesadilla and snapper sandwich and 2 drinks came to $80 A bit excessive.

The vibes were immaculate, beautiful outdoor seating next to the river and it did not feel too hot. The noise level was great and the waitstaff were very attentive and all around friendly and willing to do anything to make the experience better. The food was out of this world and fairly priced. Highly recommend for a casual night out or a special event.

Nice open air restaurant on the channel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the normal breakfast that was good. Only slightly negative thing I could say is when we first arrive everyone seemed like they were not in a good mood. No one smiled at all, maybe it was too early and they are not morning people, lol! Had we been greeted with a welcoming smile I would have given them 5 stars.

Sat in the indoor space as it was a bit windy and don't like sharing my meal with the flys. I ordered the fillet mingon (med rare) with seared vegetables and a house salad. The fillet was a little under but melted in my mouth. The veggies were mushy but tasty and the salad was a salad. All in all a really good meal. Finished it off with their key lime pie which was delicious. I'd go back.

I don't know what anybody's talking about but this place deserves a five! The ambience is amazing. You literally have the ocean right next to here was boats tied up to the dock at the restaurant. Emily was our server. She was great! Helped me with my picking mess. We ordered the purple bowl, chicken, Cobb salad, island tacos, and crunchy grouper sandwich. Amazing! You will not go wrong being here it is outside, but it's cool enough that it won't make a difference. Come in whatever you're wearing they don't care. See you guys again soon thanks so much for a great hospitality.

Island Grill is a great spot in Islamorada if you're looking for seafood. It's waterfront too and shaded! The service was a bit slow and forgetful towards the end of the night, it was a weekday when my family went so that might have a part in it. Hopefully it's better during the weekends!

The view from the outdoor seating at Island Grill is beautiful & breezy. We enjoyed watching the marina traffic pass by and park. We ordered two items: the tuna nachos and the coconut encrusted snapper. We would suggest the tuna nachos which were flavorful & fresh. Unfortunately, the snapper dish is not recommended. The fish and no flavor & the beurre blanc was also flavorless and unappealing. The broccoli was decent, but the French fries were old and tasted like the heat lamp that kept them warm.

We came here for brunch twice on our trip. Mostly for the open air eating. Food was good, too! Great service. Family and dog friendly.

I ordered The Turtle Breakfast with eggs over easy, added an extra egg, sausage, and bacon, and swapped the toast for a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick-cut, salty goodness, the sausage was packed with flavor, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had, rich, hearty, and loaded with flavorful sausage. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Green Turtle Inn for breakfast. It's a great way to start the day in the Keys.

This was our third time giving this restaurant a chance, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. We were seated, received our coffee right away, and then no one checked on us for about 25 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching every other table receive attentive service, water, and condiments without asking. We were the only Hispanic guests, and the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome. From the hostess to the servers, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. There are much better restaurants in the area where guests are treated with respect. We won't be recommending Green Turtle Inn or returning.

The resort is beautiful, peaceful,…read moreand offers so many amenities that you do not really need to leave the property to have a great time. When we arrived, we were welcomed in the lobby with a glass of champagne, which was a lovely touch. I also liked that valet parking is included in the hotel fee. You can simply drop off your car keys, and the staff will park your car for you. Self-parking is also available if you prefer. One of my favorite areas was the fireplace in the front ocean-view area. At night, there was live music, making it a wonderful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. The resort has a lot to offer, including oceanfront family pools, an adult relaxation pool, a swimming beach with loungers, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods and reels, and a beautiful 525-foot fishing pier for catch-and-release fishing. There is also a 9 hole executive golf course, tennis courts, pickleball courts, sports courts, and beach cruiser bicycles. Families can enjoy the kids' game room and Camp Cheeca, which provide fun activities for children. Adults can relax at the full-service spa, fitness center, sunrise yoga classes, and water aerobics. The resort also offers Wi-Fi, concierge service, in-room coffee and tea, bottled water, EV charging stations, and shuttle service within 2 miles. Some areas of the resort could use a little restoration. For example, the jacuzzi next to the family pool looked like it needed some maintenance. We also noticed a slight seaweed smell near the beach, but this may be normal during the high season and can depend on the weather and ocean conditions. On our first day, we ate at Nikai, the resort's sushi restaurant. Guests can sit outside and enjoy the view, which I really liked. There is also indoor seating, but the restaurant is fairly small. We ordered the Salmon Aburi, Dragon Roll, and Matsuri Roll. The outdoor seating was definitely my favorite because we could enjoy our food and drinks while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Cheeca Lodge has several dining options besides sushi. Atlantic's Edge offers oceanfront dining with beautiful views and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mia Cucina serves Italian style dishes in a relaxed setting. Tiki Bar and 25South are great places for drinks, snacks, and casual meals. Guests can also visit Morada Bay Beach Café for a relaxed beachside dining experience. Pierre's is another popular nearby restaurant, known for its elegant atmosphere and beautiful waterfront setting. At night, the front ocean view fireplace area with live music is a great place to enjoy a drink after dinner. The combination of the fire, ocean view, and music creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Having so many restaurants and dining choices nearby makes the resort very convenient. You can enjoy sushi, Italian food, casual drinks, beachside meals, or a more elegant dinner without traveling far. The resort has a beautiful Florida Keys atmosphere and offers plenty of activities for both adults and families. I especially liked having so many options in one place, including the beach, pools, water activities, fishing, golf, tennis, pickleball, spa, restaurants, live music, and our comfortable ocean-view room with a fireplace. It is a great place to relax, enjoy the water, dine, and have everything conveniently located at the resort. The champagne welcome, included valet parking, ocean views, fireplace, and live music were also nice extra touches. Although a few areas need a little restoration and there was a slight seaweed smell during the high season, these issues did not ruin our stay. I would definitely recommend Cheeca Lodge & Spa if you are planning a trip to the Florida Keys and want a resort with plenty of amenities, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, great dining options, and a relaxing atmosphere.

A special thank you to our concierge, Anne, who was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to recommend family-friendly activities both at the lodge and around Islamorada, and her recommendations made our trip even more memorable. One of the best things about Cheeca Lodge is that there's truly something for everyone. We loved that we could paddleboard, kayak, ride bikes, fish off the iconic pier, relax by one of the three beautiful oceanfront pools, or simply enjoy the incredible views. There's even complimentary golf, which we didn't have time to take advantage of this trip. Our lagoon-view room was beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The entire property is stunning, secure with gated entry, and offers complimentary parking throughout your stay. We also had an amazing experience at Mia Cucina, the Italian restaurant on site. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the staff. The chefs were so kind and welcoming to our kids, making dinner feel extra special. The complimentary 24-hour shuttle was another huge plus, making it easy to explore the area without worrying about driving. There's also a 24-hour convenience store right across the street, which came in handy more than once. Islamorada ended up being the perfect destination for our family. It has such a relaxed, laid-back feel while still offering plenty to do. If you're looking for a luxury resort where you can truly unwind, spend quality time with family, and enjoy exceptional hospitality, Cheeca Lodge is it. Thank you to Anne and the entire Cheeca Lodge team for an unforgettable stay. We can't wait to return!
