Although I'm not normally a fan of chicken, the drumstick that was handed out was juicy and not dry. The ribeye roast was tasty as well. I don't care for ham so I didn't eat any. The Easter Bunny is keeping cool inside waiting to take photos with your little ones (and pets?) I saw a lady bring in her two small dogs to take a photo with the Easter Bunny. There's a face painting booth outside as well.

I was able to get more spices (Island Jerk Seasoning, Chicago Chop and Steak Seasoning, and Island Spice Seasoning) and also a package of Mary's Chicken. Excited to make it at home. I also got a pound of the uncured calabrese sausage which i have made before for my morning breakfast. This store is similar to the SB store as how clean it is and how much variety of proteins that you can try. They crazy item I found was a bag of frozen chicken hearts. HA! I like how they have a variety of beef, steaks, chicken, turkey, seafood, pork, and ground meat. Make me want to learn to cook more foods! They also carry exotic meats such as wild boar, kangaroo, yak, bison, duck, alligator, ostrich, quail, and one thing I found most interesting was rabbit and pork sausage mixture. One day I will try these exotic flavors. Moving on to dessert, I got their cheesecake, mini beigneits with mixed berries, and lava cakes. All quite good and easy to prepare for a quick party or small gathering.

I didn't mind waiting, but it felt like he was intentionally taking his time. When it was finally my turn, he asked me to meet him on the other side of the store, handed me my bag, and said I looked mad and could have the sandwiches for free. I told him I was happy to pay, and he responded by telling me to "fuck off." I was shocked and asked if he had really just said that, and he doubled down and told me to get going. I've been a regular customer for years, but after being treated like that by the owner, I won't be back. Ryan came across as someone who grew up with a silver spoon in Newport Beach and thinks he can talk to customers however he wants. Unfortunately, they just lost two loyal customers.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about them not being open, I recommend following them on Instagram as they post their hours and offerings on there. I wish they included pricing on their posts to allow us to budget better before being on site. They are very much on the pricier side but for the most part that is justifiable with what you get. I picked up some spot prawns at $45/lb, 4 pieces ran me about $25 but those were so fresh I would get them again. I also picked up scallops. I did expect them to be fresh but they were completely frozen so I am not sure when they harvested them and the scallops themselves were a tad on the smaller side, at about $33 for a 17oz bag that seemed a bit steep. Most of their fish range from $32-35 per pound and their Mexican white shrimp were $25/lb. I do very much plan to come back but this would not be a frequent stop for me

Arrived around 6 am and there was a short line for crabs and another line for different fishes. We got 6 of their black cods for $11/pound and they were alive and FRESH! They also had shrimps and red snappers available but no sea urchins. Their butchers ask if you'd like your fish cleaned and will skin them there and bag it up. Most people brought their own pails or ice coolers to hold them in. After paying for your seafood (paid cash), be sure to stop by the lovely Seaside Donuts right across for a warm croissant and sweet treat or go fishing at the beautiful pier! Also plenty of parking during this time that's free until 8 am! :)

Yes, you're not saving any money really. The prices are no better than any other fish market. In fact, they might be cheaper at the Asian seafood places. Stay around past 8 am and they start charging for parking. Save yourself and your wallet and just go to a local market. It's OC, there are many of them.

Cateful buying fresh fruit and veggies at those overpriced prices! LOL Today I had another run in with a horrible, disrespectful, "I hate my job" employee. This time she decided that we were charged the correct amount for our 3 Skittles drink mixes. As she went over to the drink mix section and made that "official" determination. Saying that, "There's no sign that says it's on sale!" When I pointed it out that there was indeed a clear sign. This creepy employee then had the audacity to get huffy with me and declare, "Oh well, it doesn't matter anyways. I'm just going to issue you a refund. We aren't going to argue about this!" We went to where the "bathroom bargains" are and ripped the price sign off of the shelf. Brought it back to her. She tried to still deny the truth staring her right in the face! Finally after staring at the real price of our items, she declared, "Oh I guess I will honor it." Like she was somehow doing us a favor buy doing the right thing. I can get better deals buying in bulk with Amazon and Costco. I kind of wish this store would close permamtly. A store where you don't have to give your phone number would be awesome! Just go in, shop, pay and leave. I know it's a primitave concept but, the Pavillions concept is an epic "make people beg for bargains" fail. Passed this the store is overpriced. The store is usuallly decenly clean. Has too many bad employees. There's a slightly odd smell to the place. Can't quite put my finger on it but, there's something odd there. And seriously, what is it with the sale items being next to the bathroom? They shpuld be up front, so the confused, snotty emploees don't have to walk too far to find the correct price of certain items. Newport Beach can do better than this. The way it's going isn''t sustainable. Take this how you wish.
