However, if they late cancel your appointment they aren't accommodating for a re-schedule. Unless you can re-arrange your life expect to be several months out--as in at the time of your next cleaning. As a professional myself if I have to late cancel someone due to unforeseen circumstances I make sure to go above and beyond to accommodate a re-schedule that is convenient for the person because I value the time they set aside. I guess I should always remember that not everyone has that same level of professionalism.

Dr Andersen and crew have always been friendly and professional. They provide wonderful care. At 68 years old, I've been to a number of dentists over the years. Dr Andersen and staff are the best! I'd like to add that yesterday an old crown that had been placed by a prior dentist fractured and chipped off. I called Artisan Dental last evening to see if I could get in today. I got a return call at 7:15 this morning, was in their chair at 9 AM, and was done with a new crown at 11:15 AM. Thank you so much Rochelle, Dr Rehermann, and Cassie for such speedy, kind, and professional service. I have no idea how people could have had negative experiences. After going at least twice a year for 8 years, I've always been treated exceptionally well. It's true the office is like a very hip spa, and the equipment is state of the art, but the most important part is the people that work there. They're incredible.

I am happy to say that I have found an amazing practice here at affiliated dentists. The process to book, check in, and get my check up was seamless, efficient and very pleasant! The staff is super nice and with the ability to fill out forms online the check in process is ridiculously easy. Sit down in their chairs and their tech is not only some of the best I've ever seen, but the amenities are awesome! From massagers in the chairs to Tvs on the walls to sunglasses for when they shine lights in your face to see your pearly whites, this place is awesome. I don't know if I've been to a better dentist and for the first healthcare experience in Wisconsin, but really, for a dental experience in general this place is great and definitely has my business:) Happy teeth cleaning! Each room is set up like a pretty standard dental office, very clean. On my first visit, they told me they like to do a full set of x-rays just to get an idea of what my teeth are like overall, but my insurance didn't cover for a full set. So they told me they will still do the full x-ray set, but just write it as whatever my insurance will cover, and they will cover the remaining cost. How great is that?!? The staff is wonderful and courteous, also very punctual. I'm never waiting in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. The cleanings are done nice and quickly, I'm in and out in less than an hour. Dr. Vaandehaar is great! He always makes suggestions for me to consider, but is never pushy about getting anything done that isn't absolutely necessary. For example, when I had a cavity, he obviously strongly recommended that I take care of it asap. But when it came to some preventative things, he told me what was going on, and what some options are and said it's something to think about. The only complaint that I have is, they do send A LOT of appointment reminders via email and text, multiple times leading up to your appointment. Yes, you can totally opt out of it, so I guess this is really on me. Also, TDC is the only place that staff actually came in and sang happy birthday to me during my cleaning. It was so sweet! By far the best dental office I've been to. Highly recommended. (And I'm not just saying that because of the singing)

The space is modern and very clean. They have a comfortable waiting area with different sitting areas, TV, magazines, etc. The staff is welcoming, efficient and organized. Each department works together to create a great experience (check in, hygienist, dentist, insurance, scheduling). Amazing team! They are a busy office so sometimes scheduling can be pushed out but I've always gotten a call about openings and have been able to get in earlier than expected. They have provided excellent communication and referrals when needed. I have been so happy with my hygienist. My teeth always feel so clean after. She's efficient and thorough. Dr. Brittany Bowen is awesome. She is kind, patient, and truly listens. I know she is always doing what is best for me and my health. And then he started fixing them and I was like, wow, so that's how my mouth could have, (and should have been)! I've always feared and dreaded the front teeth upper gum and pallet novacaine shot, because it's a lot worse than a "pinch." But not with Dr. Jon. His technique gave me more of a slow pressure, not a painful pinch, which amazed me. And somehow he dialed in the exact amount- I had no pain at all, yet when I was done, my upper lip and nose didn't feel like I'd been punched, there was just a slight tingle that went away very shortly. The office staff is also great- appointments were handled with skill, multiple options, and accuracy. I am always greeted with warmth and friendliness, especially by Kayla. I'm just guessing here, but there might be a rule that only nice, pretty women are allowed to work there, I'm joking yet it seems to fit the observable facts. What sets her apart is that she doesn't just treat teeth, she treats people. She has a kindness and authenticity that can't be taught. Even in a setting that many of us dread, she somehow makes you feel at ease and cared for. On top of that, her work is exceptional. I've always been impressed by the quality of care and attention to detail she provides. It's also clear from watching her interactions that she treats her staff and colleagues with the same respect and kindness she shows her patients. I am a bit concerned about their prices, they charge $49 for the fluoride treatment, every other dentist I've been to across the three states I've received care in has charged $19. The fluoride was the same, the price was $30 more which does worry me about what their prices are like outside of what is covered by insurance. When I brought up this huge discrepancy, other dentist in the area and asked why there was a difference. They were unable to fluoride treatments cost more here. When I asked about booking my next cleaning, I was told they didn't have availability until way later in the year and that I would need to call back to get an appointment so I could use my two free cleanings per year. The staff was great, my main concern is price gouging especially when the services are the same.
